Thanks to Scott for doing an interview with me. I had a blast. It took us about 4 hours to record due to technical problems, White Castle, and more tech problems.
If you have ideas for the show you can pm me or email me at
[email protected] .
Typhoon do your voodoo that you do so well.

Part 1:
Love Scott mentioning that the decline in feats has narrowed the playing field instead of expanding it.
Interesting breakdowns of Metron and support powers, I'm with his opinions on him and Nightcrawler.
Liked hearing the importance of maps, I feel the same way.
I'm with him on all the characters he mentioned.
Scott didn't realize that Outsiders got changed to any time during your turn ?
Lol @ Ultraman.
That 2 games to get a top 8 from 34 story is terrible !
Amusing, Manchester Black was who I was thinking about when Scott mentioned liking Suicide Squad and characters < 100 points.

Great cast! Really enjoyed the discussion on the meta. Made me realize that I will probably never be a high level player because I am not willing to invest the time that it takes. I am curios at to how much time guys that win these big tourneys spend on this game. I am guessing that it is more than they will care to admit...

If you have a good play group then you can do it in less time. The key is braintrusts.

I would imagine that a good test group would help, but I still think were talking about a lot of time and commitment. Forgot exactly what the topic of the interview was but Cram sheds some insight when he mentions that "when he plays for fun, which he rarely ever does..."
Is this the mentality that you must posses in order to be a Worlds winner? Is it a goal, or job instead of the game that it began as? Perhaps a discussion/interview topic for future casts, the psychology and motivations of competitive clix intrigues me.

That is Scott's outlook. Dan and George seem to be a bit more casual when there is nothing on the line. I know George does a bunch of home fun games and Dan plays fun teams at his venue. Mindsets are different for each player.
