I always hated the lack of non Marvel/DC clix, so I decided to try my hand at making some of my favorite characters that weren't in the INDY set.

The Tick and Arthur were my first try at modding clix.

The Tick was an Abomination from IH smoothed over with green stuff, then I molded the chin and bug eyes over its face. I also cut the claws off his feet and tried to smooth them into boots.

Arthur's legs are from HT Hawkman, his head is half Lobster Johnson, half green stuff and his antennae and wings are cut-up Magic: the Gathering cards.

Terrific choices for the posing, and to the degree that I can make it out in the photos the details are good. The profile shot for The Tick brings some of this out very nicely.

Also, probably the best use of Magic cards I've seen short of selling rare ones for cash! ;)

IH Abomination was a good choice for the mod for the Tick. Not only are the proportions right, but just as the sculpt conveys a sense of ferocity and menace for Abomination, repainted it also shows the Tick's wall-crashing over-exuberance.
