I really enjoyed listening to this.
I was aware of Indigo-1's awesomeness, but I hadn't paid much attention to Sinestro. Now, the idea of teaming up the two for a 300 pt War of Light theme team is extremely enticing. Sinestro can run in and bust some heads with his Charge and then Quake, while Indigo-1 warps him away from the backlash of the attack. Or if your opponent starts laying the pressure on Indigo-1, Sinestro can warp in to break up the attacking formation. They're definitely both interesting pieces with some nifty possibilities when teamed up with others.

Figs 101 through 106 are from the STARTER set. There is no prize support, but fig 100 is a Marquee figure, which COULD be used for prize support I guess.

Also, Mole Man won't work with Atrocitus. Atrocitus himself has battle rage.

Another thing. The Prime Dials are supposedly the characters you can get battlefield promoted into. So the Worldbreaker Hulk and Brainiac would be the first two. The way I understand it is that they don't want teams of battlefield promotion figs.
I don't think the Split/Merge will be quite a big deal. It might actually make people interested in the duo figures they haven't been playing. The healing thing might have to be fixed is the only real issue I'm seeing with it.

Dial manipulation is a big thing in this game. I know it will get ironed out but man it will have a lot of problems until it does. Good catch that Atrocitus has battle fury. Some times I over look the obvious. A man can dream of control a rage monster to attack 3 times in a row with flurry and perplexed up damage.

Yeah, it'll be interesting to see how the merge thing all boils down. I'm waiting for the update to the Players Guide before jumping to too many conclusions about it.
I think Mole Man works great with the Abomination from the Hulk GF. That Abomination is just plain nasty and doesn't have battle fury.

Thanks for the cast! I agree with the analysis on DKR, War of Light FF but not so much on the X-men FF. I got them to work well together despite the limitations with the prob special. Played them at 300 with Xavier, Rogue, Cyclops and Wolverine and did pretty well against Con LE Apoc and Archangel. Rogue's outwit is fun, but she needs to played aggresively to get the most out of her. Outwitting stealth (no line of fire required) was handy and gaining the power was cool. I also got some good mileage from Xaviers shape change granting special power. Yes the token stinks but you can elect not to use it and hope they miss or rely on prob. Sure, they won't show up in the meta, but I think they can do fairly well against most balanced teams, and they are all refreshing low cost options for team building variety and I like it. Maps are well done also.
I think Lt. Gordon will influence the meta, will be interesting to see just how much.
Here is a team I am toying with:
Lt. Gordon
Deadshot x 2
Shadow Assassin
Total is 281, enough room for gamma bomb and Secret Six ATA on Deadshots. Deadshots get into position from Gordon's free move sp and Shadow Assassin provides smoke cloud, enhancement and can push to poison. Gordan can potentially pull tokens off of Shadow Assassin. Should be a fun team, but anti-stealth will wreck it. What do you think? Could pull the assassin and Atas and plug in Cosmo...
Also, why the name Starting Over?
Thanks for your analysis and I look forward to future casts! When is the next one due out?

I know I hated on the X-men. I just didn't like them. They didn't work togther as a team to help one another. That made me sad. Very sad. So much so I won't buy them.
Your team is good. LT. Gordan takes the place of tk. He dos the same thing except with 2 targets. I would say your team is good as it is. Test it out and see what the short comings are. I would like to know how it turns out.
It's called Starting Over podcast because I had a video-cast previously called Starting Area. I had some issues with a certain individual and was leading up to me being banned from the site and a bunch of other stuff. So six months later I restart the show because in all honesty people don't think nor was there an atmosphere of challenging anything in the meta. So I was starting over completely this time and try to start over the online culture.

Awesome.
DKR: I think Dent and Gordon are awesome.
WOL: New Atrocitus looks fun, planning out a close combat team and having that power is awesome.
Great talk about Prime rings and Feats. Silly that they thought that cleaning up feats would clean up problems, and allowing feats to use special powers as pre-reqs for feats.
