Printable Maps

I'm a big fan of the custom maps I've see on this site. I really like Drashia and Jonny 5's maps. The only problem is I can find them anywhere in a Downloadable or even better a Printable (i.e. cut into to pieces) Map. I'm lookin for th Hell's Kitchen one by Drashia and the Hall of Justice by Jonny 5. Both look great, however all the links on the forum are not working. If someone still has them or if the creators are listening, I'd really love to get a copy of them. I'll take a link, I'll send a CD, give up a couple of my doubles you might need if need be.

the reason your not seeing printable maps are because of cost. TO have a printer set up a 4 color press for one map is not even close to worth it unless your printing a couple hundred. The alternative is a large format dye or ink printer. The cost is less but for a 36"x36" 4 color map your still around 100.00 for only one.

i am taking it to print and am going to have it mounted and lamanated i think.

Its gonna cost me a c- note easy, but i think it will be worth it because i can get many different types of secerinos out of it

No, No. I mean printable as in cut into 24 equal pieces. Usually in 6"x 9" (i.e. 4 squares by 6 squares). Then you just tape it up together. It's not as nice as the full sheet ones but it's still playable. That's what I did for the Batman-Gotham city map. The map you made by the way looks GREAT. Amazing detailed, vivid colors. I'd love to have this map.

Willing to wait, Yes. Want to wait, No. :cheeky: Again, I gotta say, this is a great map. Is this gonna be part of the Freedom Four Plaza ( i.e. home of the Fantasti Four). On most of the edges you have solid heavy black lines. I don't know how the maps are gonna set up, but if this is just a corner and the finish will have a small outdoor in the middle, then in the hallway you might wanna take out the black lines. That way when it's all together players can walk around the whole interior of the map. In Standard one map play they become walls by default. Anyways, I'm not sure what rez they put the maps in. I could send you the gotham map I have so you can check it out. Once taped, I use the plexiglass top for it, it works out fine.

Actually this will not be 4 freedoms plaza. What it is is a large lab complex, similar to the vault. This piece is the lower right corner of the whole map. The map big map is 4 tiles.

There are other parts of the lab to build, one will be a lab that holds a downed sentinal that will come to life. This cell will combine indoor open area combat, kinda like a big wharehouse.

Then there is the vault itself. That will be a holding area for captured bad guys with cells and a rec area, kitchen and such.

The top left cell will be the administrative area and parking lot..You will be able to walk around out side the walls a bit.

I had it printed today and it came out rockin. Some things need to be adjusted in the next versions but im pretty happy with the way it is now.

I will slice up the map into sections that can be printed for you. I just need a few days. Im gonna go write up a secerino tonight. Im thinking Ultron or Doom break in to the lab so the can open the zone and let blastar and annilius out. I just need to lay out specifics. Ill get you that when im finished also.
