run him yesterday in a 900 points silver age Mystical themed team against a Gotham City themed team and I won.
Have to try him more times.
For the dial you are basically paying an extra 100 points for a dial similar to a 300 pointer. You get better range than most (12) but you are colossal (which isn't only a malus thanks to the ability to continuosly pushing) but on a 6x3 base unfortunately. What makes up for the point cost is the fact that actually you play Terraxia as an extra (granting you an additional attacker and perplexer) and his trait is really good against themed teams (no more ATAs, no TAs when adjacent, no more all stealthed avengers, no more special perplex morgan le fay and no Batman Ally TA to all who share a keyword with the new Batman)

Ahh, but take a closer look at this dial next to the 300-point dial... What are you really getting? Not much, one click, some slightly higher numbers, trading sporadic PC for sporadic Outwit, LESS penetrating damage... and Terraxia. She's not 'free' by any means. Her effectiveness is factored into the cost of this guy's 400 points, in much the same way that gg102 Hulk's Bruce Banner pog is factored into that figure's cost.

Still, this guy starts with 2 clicks of Pen/Psych and if he hits someone he counters THEIR Pen/Psych, plus any move-attack they might have. That's a nice lock-down to have.

I'm not saying the guy is bad. Like I said, I'll be playing him in a tournament soon. I'm just saying that Terraxia is far from being free. Worth the points, yes, but she isn't free.

Terraxia can put his defense at a healthy 20. Still, 11 clicks is kinda shallow for 400 points (even with immunity to Outwit), and if you can get in close he loses a lot of his oomph at damage dealing because the Psy Blast and RCE only work at a distance. The fun to be had is in nerfing team abilities and keywords with his Trait... I believe it works against Power Cosmics too, as "can't use" is different from "counter".
Odd that his mobility is quite limited on click #1 with nothing to speak of. Terraxia is a great big help in getting opponents who hide in corners and such.

Remember Adam Warlock #001 from the same limited edition set? He's 450 points and only has 10 clicks....heck all of the elders from this LE set are expensive pointwise too. I wonder if they had newley hired persenal on staff during the point total design of this infinity gauntlet LE series.....all their values seem off. And the gauntlet itself is UNDERCOSTED. Oh well....still love my elders. :)
