Marvel's Fifth Set

Fifth Marvel Expansion

I think we all assume that the fourth marvel expansion will be an Avengers based set. At least that is my hope. Looking to the fifth set may be a little premature but that is what these forums are for.
So, my hope is that the fifth set will be based, collectively, on teams that Marvel may not think will be strong enough by themselves to release a set on.

So the set would contain characters from The Defenders, The Champions, Alpha Flight, The Inhumans and the New Warriors. We could also have villainous teams in here as well.

I left out teams like X-Factor and X-Force, Gen X and New Mutants because those characters will probably be released with other X-Men Sets.

I know some of you will think that a couple of these teams could carry an expansion, I think so as well. However, will the Marvel money makers agree? I am not so sure of that.

On a personal note. I would love to see Molecule Man in any future set.

I would certainly agree that the above teams you mentioned would be great to see in the future, especially the New Warriors. Nova is my all time favorite marvel hero. The Inhumans would also make for some interesting R/E/V's.

Where did you hear this? that would be a shame if it is true. Because I am pretty sure we would all keep buying them until they exhaust just about every character in all three Universes

i agree with cquinn. they deffinetly shouldnt stop. if the game keeps selling and they keep up with wat figs alot of people want to see or have, then this game could go much further. we still need a spider-man set, avengers set, and alot of other smaller based teams.

I too heard-and many people think- that the next set will most likely be spider-man based. you figure by the time we hear of the next expansion for marvel, spider-man 2 will be well on its way.

first i think its just a runor on the ammount of clix expansions that they are producing....i think that is more of a contract thing...how many the original agreement allows before its up for negotiation again...which could ammount to the same thing...but may not.

second i think the next set wont be a spiderman set...they'll want to capitalize on the movie release like they did with xplosion. so look for the spiderman set next march.

the oct/nov set will be....? i think it'll be the filler teams. and like the thunderbolts here...and the defenders/champions.

but my crystal ball is murky...

I'd love to see the lesser know teams in an upcoming set. I'm guessing one will be Avengers/Masters of Evil based. With Zemo as the team icon for the MoE, we need to have him (and hopefully the Thunderbolts as well).

There are just too many major Masters villains to leave out of this game:
The characters that make up the Thunderbolts (Beetle, Fixer, Goliath, Moonstone, Screaming Mimi, and of course Zemo)

The Wrecking Crew (Wrecker, Piledriver, Bulldozer, and Thunderball)

Absorbing Man
Tiger Shark
Cyclone
Man Killer

I'd love to see the new Crimson Cowl - Justine Hammer.

Oh, my wish list could go on and on...

So please, Wizkids, keep 'em coming!
