No i mean the kind of foam that can spread into little pieces.I tried that but i makes the whole thing uneven and bumpy.:angry:

use an X-acto blade (razor blade) to cut it works just fine:)
if you are meaning polysyrene or any other similar material
use a bit of heated wire
make sure you protect your hands tho

You can buy a hot wire cutter at most hobby shops. Try not to breathe in the toxic fumes from the melting polystyrene.

I use an exacto knife, but I'll warn you that most of the time I end up with little peices all over the place. If you plan on doing a lot of work it might be worth buying the foam cutter (which is just batteries heating a wire in a way that keeps your hands out of the way). It's usually about $15.00 canadian. That's about $10 US right now.....
