Professor X in Mystique

I just picked up Mystique #1 today and I have to say wow! This is an awesome comic and I highly recommend it. I will definetly be adding it to my layaway list.

But, anyways on to my question. I stopped reading X-men many years ago, so I don't know what currently going on. In the comic Professor X was walking. When and how did this happen? I'm guessing it has something to do with teh shiar empire, but I maybe wrong. Also a few years ago Phoenix(jean grey) only had telepathic powers, what happened to her telekinetic abilities(I was reading my friends uncanny x-men #383)?

Ok, thanks a lot. Do you know about when it happened, and how Phoenix(few years ago) lost her telekinetic powers?

I dont know, I just picked up the X-men Marvel Encyclopedia.... I dont think it mentions losing the telekinesis.

if I remember correctly, Phoenix and Psylocke had some kind of power swap during the 6 month gap. Psylocke got Phoenix's TK powers, and Phoenix got Psylocke's other mental powers.

Or something like that....I stopped reading comics before that and just heard about it....

Here ya go... Pheonix lost her tk abilites at some point in the monthes that was "skipped" after Cyclops "Death". But has since regained them. Prof. X regained use of his legs after his faternal twin sister (who he killed in the womb. which the shiar explained as something everyone most do. or something like that. god only knows. anyway) took over his body. she was tricked into leaving by the white queen and quickly defeated. Prof. X than walks out of the cerebra chamber. However he apparently still needs a cane.(sorry angel no Xorn on this one) I don't think Psylocke ever lost her abilities... However she did lock the shadow king in a psychic prison and if she ever used her abilities he would be released. Thus she no longer used them.. (note: later this was dismissed and never spoken of again as far as I know.)

Other updates: Genosha blown to bits along with Magneto. Beast declares hes a homosexual (but only to piss off his ex.) There is a new widespread "second" mutation. (ex. Beast now looks cat like, White Queen can crystalize, Angel's blood now has healing abilities), Nightcrawler trained as a priest but than later stopped siting various reasons, Havok died went to an alternate universe died there returned here, Cyclops and White Queen are having a mental affair, a cure for the legacy virus was found but since it was activated by a mutant using his ability so would the cure need to be done the same way at the loss of said mutants life... Colossus made the sacrifice. Thats about all I got right now enjoy!

Krais - It was Xorn who heals Xaivers body and allowed him to walk and he doesn't need a cane, but the rest of what you said was right.


ANd Psylocke did use her abilities all the time but not anymore (considering shes dead).

After rereading New X-Men 126 i didn't releaze that Xorn actually healed Xavier's body. His little leap to heal seemed inaffective. As cassandra seemed only effected by beast's attack. 127 shows Xavier thanking Xorn. My apologies for the mis-info.(lilj your comment was unneeded) However psylocke did lose her abilities to lock shadow king in the astral plane. Heres a place to find said info.
