who would win between silver surfer and superman?

Surfer wins, boards down. Supes is so weak that a dead Marvel character could defeat him.

Silver Surfer would win hands down. His power has almost a magical nature to it...but he could simply blow the sun up and then wait a few moments and then piff there goes Superman.

However, if you want a more realistic battle since Silver Surfer wouldn't actually blow up the sun, he'd just be able to constantly bash him to the point where the oxygen in his lungs would go out and he would die in space since he couldn't survive there. If you've read Superman you'll see that he can't survive in space, but he takes a deep breath of oxygen then flies out there. Now granted that breath will hold him for sometime, but still not enough to be Surfer.

If the fight takes place on the Earth, then that's another story, Surfer could block out the sun with his power, or he could endanger lives to make him submit...

So with that, Silver Surfer is my pick.
