Jane Foster...Will Power and Support...Nasty.
Can anyone see what the hooker's powers look like? Can't read it.
Sheesh, 12 new LEs...gonna be real hard to get all these before the LEs for the next marvel expansion start shipping. I still only have 2 CT LEs at it is..
So which one do you think will be most wanted after Jane Foster?

Abomimation rocks. He goes up to 5 damage and 17 defence! for only 91 points, I will play him thanks.

I was kinda hoping that they'd put a U Electra Fig on the Ninja base for the LE - maybe this is the Elektra from when she became a man... That one time... Yeah.
Sarah St. John? Isn't she an adult film star?
Kitrigi looks pretty awesome. Looks like a solid dail.
Whitney frost... I think I want to get her most of all....

The SWAT guy is one of the cops from the 911 comics that marvel did. You can look him up in the dotcomics.
Jane Foster, Elektra, Frank Gunzer and Whitney Frost are on my must have list. Whitney Frost could be the mini V Joker.
It would be funny if they give the con artist LE poison on her dial....

thickvic makes the call, Tabitha is a steal for 4 points of damage at range for only 30 points. Yowza.

These are some great LEs. I was really dissappointed by most of the Clobberin' Time LEs, especially after seeing how great a lot of the DC LE's are. Now, there are very few of these LEs that I don't want. Mastermind on a figure that can dish out 4 clicks at 10 range(Madame Hydra)? A new stealthed figure with outwit on the first click(Whitney Frost)? A 19 point piece with 2 clicks of 3 natural damage (Elektra)? The only ones that I really don't feel offer an excellent improvement, or at least a great option to their R/E/V figures are Mystique (replacing EE with Incap? Whatever), Kirigi (OK, he's better, but for the points, he's nothing special), and Mary Walker (they cut her Speed, added a click of EE, and increased her AV on her last 2 clicks to a whopping 6 and 5). I can't wait to get my hands on some of these pieces.

Madame Hydra can do 4 clicks at 10 range for only 39 points. And she has a better AV. And Mastermind to keep her healthy. While Tabitha is a good piece, Madame Hydra is a great piece.
No wonder wizkids is holding back on prize support.

So where's the Destiny LE, where's Bobby Drake and Leonard Samson & Mac Gargan?
Not complaining, mind you; I just think it's odd that they showed some of them but not all. And I'd hardly call this turning the tourney scene "on its ear." Every time there's a new set, there's new LEs. Nothing new about that.
These are good ones though. Not like a lot of the CTs.

Who are some of these peoples non LE form?
thickvic

Emil Blonsky, Jane Foster, Tabitha Smith, Elektra and Whitney Frost and Madame Hydra...Look out world its a B o o b s and brawn team just waiting to be gathered and used.
Some may remember that a couple of months ago there was hope that Beast would be an Avenger, when the set was revealed he wasn't. Then people held out hope that there would be an LE of him that would be, but JonL responded that there was an LE but it too was an X-man.
So the way I figure it there will be 20 LE's like Clobberin' Time and that there will be 2 more LV 5's (or 6's if that is the new scheme) in the form of Hank McCoy and Betty Braddock. I hope I got Psylocke's real name correct. For one I am holding out hope for a Psylocke with Psyche Blast.
Poision, Mastermind, and Outwit on the first click. She can give even Thor and Thanos some of her special blend.

I'll assume that was directed at me, since the pictures should identify the others.;)
Bobby Drake is Iceman, Leonard Samson is Doc Samson, and Mac Gargan is Scorpion.

Indeed. XP finally breaks Black Panther's lock on Marvel figs that start with outwit, by giving us a second *and* third.

Brigadier I meant the New Xplosion LE's non LE form.
Draddog,
Did all 12 of these have the Level 4 seal on them?
Another Elektra...snicker...
thats the funniest thing ive ever seen i bet brazil just started crying
JoeyTheButt
05/02/2003, 22:13
lets see if I understand right... all of these are level 4 except dimitri and kitty pride?
Also, why aren there no figs at 208, 213, 215, or 216. This leads me to believe either one of two things. Wizkids has gone retarded on their fig numbering system, or all the LEs for xplosion aren't revealed yet. I think I'll go with the latter.
JoeyTheButt
05/02/2003, 22:16
and kitty pride and dimitri are level 6
The odd thing is that wizkids "released" information on the DC LEs too, but these are the same figs that have been available all year.
So what do they mean by turning prize support on its ear? Is this a reference to cutting second place support? If so, it's like the scene in Fight Club where Ed Norton Jr. hits Brad Pitt.
"You got me on the ear!"
Yeah, that's about what it feels like.
Those LEs are so very nice... too bad I never get to play for LEs... or if I do I get shafted... heh... ah well, such is life... but those les are beautiful...

Thank God for Ebay.
I wouldn't play at a tournament for love or money, thanks all the same. But I do covet the Jane Foster LE.

I was familiar with Jane Foster having Brown Hair. Looks like a reach to me.
I would of thought Karen Page would make a good con artist LE.

I cant see any stats on Sarah St. John.
y'know, it's a freakin' pity that these are good. I'm NEVER going to see them at my venue...never! We still haven't gotten but one or two tourneys with Clobberin' Time LEs.
And I'm not going to accuse anyone....yet.
These are top notch LEs. I want that Madame Hydra!
Nickel97
05/03/2003, 14:57
I want the Elektra and the Madame Hydra, and I wouldn't mind a Jane Foster.
4 Damage at 10 range is pretty nice. Add in the fact that she'll likely have some hydra friends to dump damage onto and boost her AV. Madame Hydra is cool.
The paramedic is going to be a nuisance. Maybe a bit too good. Though maybe it will make Run and heal teams more fun to play against, as it will make the obnoxious habit go a bit quicker.
The CT uniques aren't that bad. Yellowjacket, Clay Quartermain, Doctor Doom, Laura Brown, Clint Barton, George Tarleton, Scientist Supreme. All good figures. Maybe Toad/Blob/Elektra/Mandroid aren't stellar, but most are pretty cool.
When will they tell us about the LE Hank and Betsy?
Anyone know of any LE listings that contain the Rarity?
So far, I can't find that info here on HCRealms or on the WizKids site...
Thanks in advance for any replies.
dear lord in heaven, if you are real, please let me get ona them there paramedics with willpower.
Otherwise, much like Conan said to Crom, " to hell with you!"
no offense was meant to any religious people by the way.

I've lost interest in Marvel Heroclix. Not even these new LEs or the Hulk LE can salvage my support.
What really did it for me was waiting all this time for an Iron Man, and then finding out that with his sucky attack value he can't hit the broad side of a barn.
Why do they make all the obscure characters so much more playable?
Rogueslaw
05/20/2003, 21:07
Not all the good figures are obscure. It is just that certain figs people will want to play no matter if they are good or bad and if u want a true test of your skills then try making a team around those mainstream figs like Iron Man. The thing is there is 3 types of players. A) comic book fans that play for fun. B) comic book fans that play in tornys. C) comic book fans that play for fun and torny. U just have to figure out which one u are.
My only prob with LE's is that all the good LE's in the marvel CT set were level 3. I hated to win a torny and get a ####py level 4 such as Fred dukes and then see 2nd place get a Doctor Doom or Scientist Supreme.
That is just my 2 cents. Over the new LE's sound great but, I did hope Karen paige was the street walker. Though who is Jane Foster in the books?
