Going 3D

I wanna build a 3d map but i dont think i have the time and the self controle.

If any body has any tips on where to get blank grids or on how to make buildings or just anything at all to do with 3D maps it would be well apritiated.

Pllz leave tips and i will try 2 build 1. when it is built i promis pics.

For blank grids I would suggest buying foamcore sheets that have ghost grids on them (1/2" squares in light grey on the one I bought)

Maybe try just getting your map down first and make some easy buildings with blocks, Legos, etc. Then if you and your friends like the idea of a 3D environment (which most people do!), then start on making your own buildings.

Alot of people here use foamcore or cardboard. I personally went with Legos because they are easy to store and I really wanted the ability to destroy parts of the building as the game goes on. It's easy to take out a wall section when it's just a bunch of legos!
