Heres my version of one of my favorite X-men, Banshee.
Movement: Flight
Range: 8
Targets: 2
Team: X-men
Cost: 74
Move: 10 10 8 8 8 7
Attack: 10 9 9 8 8 8 Pulsewave
Defense: 16 16 15 15 15 14
Damage: 2 2 2 2 1 1
Ok.
Bansee starts out with high movement and Running shot to simulate his flying sonic scream. The rest of his movement goes to normal. He can combine his perplex with his Running shot to enhance the scream or help out his teammates.
His attack is normal at first, and then he gains Psychic blast. I gave him this power because it simulates his ear-splitting power, that would affect pretty much anyone. Body armor and thick hide wont save you from Banshee's scream, and Psychic blast is the only power that will bypass all defensive damage reducers. After that he gets Pulsewave for his last stand attacks that affect anyone in half range.
I gave a couple clicks of ES/D because he would be harder to hit at range given his flight ability, and his sonic waves altering the flight of the projectile.
I gave him some perplex, because all that screaming would definately distract his enemies, giving the advantage to him and his teammates. After that its just the straight printed damage.
What do you guys think?

Start off with pb, I don't see any reason why that wouldn't be his main thing. Perplex is a good idea. Me personally I thought of giving him incapacitate and 3 targets cuz his scream tends to affect a lot of people. But pb is a really good idea. pb 3 targets running shot, and 1 click of damage gains perplex later down that's what I'd do.

For the most part you would want to use Banshee as a ranged attacker, his 6 clicks of life is just begging for a Charging Thing or She hulk to waffle him with a dumpster and put him down for the count.
Banshee makes a great taxi with offensive and enhancement capability. He can make a running scream at an enemy while taxiing, and then perplex his fare after he drops them off.
Use his first 2 clicks of perplex to help him and his teammates out, and then after that, use his ranged attack sonic scream (Psychic Blast) to deal 2 damage to anyone he hits.
Banshee's defense is rather low, and a medic could have him back on his best clicks rather easily.

Thats a good Idea, I wasnt sure if Psychic blast worked with running shot or not. That will be good to start out with as well.
I thought of Incapacitate as well, but it drove up his cost to around 100 and it just made him a little too high priced.
Im going to tweak him a bit and post the results.

Well the Incapacitate power puts him well over 100.
I thought of starting with PB, but then his perplex is pretty much wasted points, as he is so easy to heal, you would want him back to his better clicks, not just keep him as a perplexer who will get KO'd in one good hit from a mediocre figure.
So, I figured he has a normal attack power, with perplex to simulate his teamwork and strategy as the battle begins. But after he takes some damage, then he really lets loose with the scream that penetrates anything. Im debating on whether to keep the pulsewave or not, as it seems to take up points unneccesarily. I dont use PW that much myself.
If I dropped the Pulsewave, he would be a very manageable 65 points. And then he could have 3 targets, and would cost 66 points.
Im really thinking of dropping the PW altogether.
I would drop Perplex, if you have PB. That would cut you costs. PB and Running Shot would be very accurate for Banshee (and Siryn, for that matter).
I like it! Yes, drop the Perplex. Your pyschic blast idea is perfect! I wish I had thought of that.
My votes
Keep 2 Clicks of RS
First 3 Clicks of PB, then 2 Incapacitate
Keep 2 Arrows
3 Damage on 1st click.
I vote no on Pulse Wave. I think a click or two of Incapacitate after the PB would be very playable with the double arrows and the decent 8 AV. How many times have we seen multiple villains drop to their knees, writhing desperately in vain trying to cover their ears.

I say
10 range 1 bolt
10 10 9 8 8 7
10 9 9 8 11 6
16 15 15 14 12 11
3 2 2 2 1 1
This would represnt him flying in screaming, possibly carrying someone. The PB represents how even the juggernaunt can be hurt, and the pulse wave at the end shows how he can smash a large area. THe jumped attack at one point represents how he bursts out in a roar and and takes out a large area when he is nearing his end. Incapacitate would make sence, but it is just useless when considering how much even a single click would jack up his cost
