I was wondering if people could give me a hand on the pros and cons of a team I am putting together for next weekend. . .

400 pt. Marvel.

2 Paramedics, not sure which version yet, will see about points
Un. Wasp
Un. Green Goblin
Un. Sauron
Un. Elektra IC
Exp. Black Panther
Rook. Taskmaster
Vt. Shield Sniper
3x Rook. Destinies

Now I am aware that this team is a bit on cheese side, but I also think it could be a lot of fun as well.

Here is the basic strategy: Sauron taxis Panther to hindering terrain, with Goblin/Task and Wasp/Elektra doing similarly on flanking positions, but close enough to attack at range an opponent who bases Panther. Since all the hitters have stealth, the taxis will hide behind them. Then, when the opponent has to base them, Each fig. gets his blades attack along with an assist from a charging Sauron. Destiny will help make sure that those blades attacks cause a fair amount of hurtin', especially if Panther can outwit toughness, etc.

Now with Wasp's leadership, five actions a round are possible, 4 of which are blades, can cause a LOT of damage, very, very quickly. The sniper hangs back to try and cover the destinies and medics.

Seems pretty solid to me, but I'm always looking for good advice, so please share!!!

For a 400 point team, it seems to lack any umph, if that makes sense. I've never played a 400 point team, but to me it seems like thats enough points that you could successfully use a big gun and still have enough other threats and support pieces to make a very threatening team.

You make a good point, but I was considering that one of the strengths of this team. By having 4 main hitters rather than 1 or 2, I think this team is more flexible. Also, some effort will need to be taken to dispatch any of them, and they will net relatively few points for my opponent. I believe they are very effecient in not taking up a lot of points, but able to KO figs that are much more expensive than they are

I've tried a similar Team and done very well. The downfall of this team is rushing. You need them to come to you. So just be happy to sit there and do nothing. I know you want to keep those Destinies but you need line of site and as you described it you will fall into the same trap I did and the flyers will block your LOS. Unless you want to use the Destinies as bait to lure the opponent in and trust in her Super Senses and PC, I would upgrade Task to V for Extra Perplex and Willpower. Good luck with this team.
Thats Just My Opinion.
