Wellcome participants and Readers, we have a situation at the Midtown Bank. Hank Pym has left an unususal space crystal in a safty deposit box at the Midtown Bank. This Crystal in the wrong hands could be explioted for Diabolical consequences....And that's just what Evil is plotting. Being evil, they have descided to hit the bank the same afternoon an armored car shipment is due from the federal reserve. Just for a little bonus spending loot. Fortunately the forces of goodness are on the case and have descovered that the forces of evil have been tunneling into the bank and plan to catch them in the act. So team good as taken to the sewers to intercept them. Evil, has many shortcomings...not the least of which is a certain rivalry and unorganization between the various banches of evil. Which leads to yet another group of Evil doers Staking out the Armored Car the same day....and this in turn lead to a completely different band O goodguys just catching word of this robery and scrambling to the scene. ... So this is what we've got...4 teams, a Space Crystal and a bunch of loot.

It feels weird to be going against you Jacin. I felt like I could always count on you and the Bat team to be there on our side, but now I'm evil:mad: which isn't what I wanted, but the armored car shall be OURS!!!.....now to decide which team to use.:disappoin
Yeah, yeah. I'd have some sort of witty explanation for that, but there's really not one ... he does seem to do that every game lately. :noid:
But, just because it's happened to him every game I've had him in on the forums so far doesn't mean it'll always happen ... I hope.

the large moving van opened its doors above the sewer entrance and a large lumbering green scaled creature made his way to the manhole cover.
Abomination made his way to the manhole cover, downing his bottle of jack daniels (in respect of shavo) and belching loudly.
the young floozey he had recently been cavorting with, Sasha,
tagged along.
"Why did you have to bring her?" said his partner the man called The Leader.
"she makes me happy" with that sasha stuck her tongue out at the leader and his brain quivered to see her so scantily clad.
"hey boss" came from the man and the woman in there radiation suits from inside the truck, as they put together the last parts of the robot they had unpacked from its crate.
"its online" "I AM MUUD" bellowed the robot..." i think its programming still isnt complete though"
Abomination regarded the figure of doom as it hovered down the ramp and looked at the leader. who said simply "it was on sale"
"ooo, i love a sale" squealed sasha and Abomination's face fins quivered at her voice.

In the darkness of the sewer: suddenly in a blaze of light he appeared. The end of all things....Apocalypse!
Turning back he looks over his minions:
Sauron, the cursed warrior forced into helping Apocalypse. Mystique, the shapchanging mutant and Silver Samurai, mutant swordsman.
"You will aquire the crystal at all costs." Apocalypes says while coldly staring at each of his soldiers. "Anyone who fails - will be dealt with. The accursed X Men will be here no doubt. Their elimination is secondary."
Mystique slyly smiles, "I hear and obey." She shapechanges into Jean Grey then into Psylocke, then back into herself and smiles again.
Silver Samurai nods, "Hai."
Sauron squaks, "The crystal, the crystal!"
Apocalypse stares forward, "Yes...the crystal...."

Special Rules for this senerio
First we have 5 house rules we are trying out.
1> All figures may be played as if they have both Running Shot and Charge, using the current rules and restrictions for both superpowers.
2> Figures with Running Shot on their dials, may either move their full movement and take a ranged combat action. OR they may move half their movement and fire without any restrictions on their shot as if they hadn't moved. IE, they may use RCE to modifiy their shot if they haven't moved more than half their movement.
3> Figures with Charge on their dials may move their full movement when taking a charge action and recieve an additional +1 damage when taking a charge action (not cumulative with the object bonus).
4> Figures with Battle Furry may take Ranged Combat actions.
5> A figure who is carried by a flying figure or moved with Telekinesis may not take an action the turn they are moved. (before or after)
Special Rules
There are 9 moneybags and 1 Special Green Crystal token. These are special objects which can not be destroyed. They also do not require super strength to pick them up. A figure without super strength can carry 1 bag. A figure with super strength can carry 2 bags. Unlike regular objects, these special objects can be dropped in the same or any adjacent square durring any type of action that figure performs. This figure must drop the object before making any kind of action other than a move or pass action. The figure must drop it during a Running Shot or Charge action any time prior to making their attack. Any successful attack on a figure (even incapacitate), causes any figure carrying an object to drop it. Roll a Random d8 to determine where the object falls:

Sewerlids - These are additional light objects, and can be used as such.
Entering the Vault - it requires 5 points of damage to any vault wall or the appropriate spot underground to break into the vault. This must be a single attack the same as attacking a normal wall, but requireing more damage. From Underground you must be in square BB-4 or CC-4 to make the hole into the vault at BB-4. Figures may go up or down the ladders to enter or exit the sewer using the normal ladder rules. The Manhole cover can be ignored for this movement. Also a Figure with Phasing can go from sewer level to street level, but not the other way around, and phasing figures can not phase through the black earth squares underground. A Phaser may enter the Vault however.
The Bank - Street level is treated as Outdoor terrain except for the Bank, which is indoor. The teller counter with the bulletproof glass is treated as blocking terrain and can be destroyed like a wall. Objects can only be picked up from the armored car from square CC-14. Flying figures may not fly over the bank roof. (international no-fly zone) Too confusing to have multiple levels there. The Sewer level is obviously treated as indoor terrain. (no soaring)
The loot
Green Crystal is worth 100 points to evil team 1 or good team 2. It is worth 25 points to Evil team 3 and nothing to good team 4.
Money bags which are taken off the map are worth 50 points per bag to Evil Team 3 or 25 points per bag to Evil team 1. Any moneybags still on the map at the end of the scenerio are worth 50 points to Good Team 4 and 25 points to Good Team 2. Team Good is not allowed to leave the map with any money bags, if they retreat off the map they must leave the money bags.
Leaving the map - any figure which leaves the map is counted tward survival points but may not return to the map.
Team 1 Evil may leave the map Via the Street or Sidewalk at ZZ-39 or LL-50. They may carry moneybags with them when they leave the map.
Good Teams 2 & 4 may leave the map via any Sidewalked Street to the west or the street or sidewalk at K-1. Retreated figures do count for survival points. Moneybags may not be taken off the map by good teams, and the Crystal may not be taken off the map by Good Team 4.
KOed figures - Figures KOed are counted only twards the Victory points of the figure who hit the figure last. A pushed to KO figure counts tward the Victory points of the last team to successfully hit that figure with any attack.
Setup
Team 1 will set up in the banksewer map within 5 squares of UU-16.
Team 2 will set up in the banksewer map within 5 squares of D-40.
Team 3 Will set up in the bankstreet map within 5 squares of the Black stretch limo.
Team 4 Will set up in first 5 street or sidewalk squares of the street at K-50.
Team Evil will move first - Tomorrow Tuesday.
All moves will be made between Midnight PST and Midnight PST of the Day you are to move. Evil moves Tuesday, Good on Wednesday, and every other day subsequent to this. Please set up your teams today.
You may make as many Colorful posts as you want each day, but make only one Action Post per team. I think the forum has changed and editing posts to correct bad moves may not be possible. If it isn't you'll have to post a separate correction e-mail if you make a mistake. Your Action post MUST contain a list of actions for anyone taking one, and a Final Positions section which shows all your non-KOed figures, their locations, their damage if any, and how many action tokens each figure has. If you make a mistake, you may correct any figure who did an illegal action, but only on the day of your move. If it is not caught till the next day that figure is put back in his original position and given a pass action. If you redo an action you MUST REDO ALL DICE ROLLS for the new action. You may not redo a successful action, just because a different one of your figures did an illegal action...unless the two actions in question are dependant on one another, like if one figure carried the other figure and the carrying figure did an illegal action. If any part of a figure's action is illegal, then the whole action is illegal, and must be redone from scratch. Post all Dice rolls in your action post. Roll all defensive abilities for your opponent. If you attack a Super senses figure, roll the super senses. If you are in range and LOS of a Probability Controller and you roll something successful, then you must reroll it. Note - if you have a probability control figure, and you only want to effect certain things and ignore others, then specify so, otherwise your opponent will use your probability control on his first applicable roll.
If I've forgotten anything, or if you have any questions please ask. Oh, any figures KOed by police or any other figures controlled by myself or Kirsarge count twards no-ones victory conditions.

(If you e-mail me I could e-mail you the map...but don't post your teams until I get the real link to the map up.

Oh, poo....if you read my post above (which I can't edit), there is a mistake there:

In case you didn't figure it out...teams 1&2 are the the undergound good and evil...after the Crystal. and teams 3 & 4 are the surface dweller good and evil teams....sorry about that. You're still whichever team you picked but the number may have changed.

Oh, just remembered something I forgot earlier...when you see the map you will notice a grating in the park which attaches to the sewer...you can break that by doing 3 damage, then you can enter or leave the sewer map there.
Okay I was told Liquid Havok was swapping with Lightning Lad as far as which team he's on...so here's what I have now, and I sent out the dice server pairings and info...if you didn't get the e-mail, then e-mail me.

FTP Server sucks @ss...my pal is trying to figure it out.
One Day Delay.
Sorry folks...due to an unforseens error, it's not looking like the FTP Server I'm using is going to get fixed in the next 15 seconds before I head home for the day....
So...Hopefully we'll get it fixed tonight or tomorrow AM, and we'll do the setup tomorrow, then Evil will move on Wednesday, and Good Thursday, sorry for the inconvenience....
Oh drat...I just remembered one more pretty huge rule....You may not shoot your partner's figures on your team, but you may shoot other figures on the Evil or Good team that aren't on your team...so Evil team 1 can fire on figures on Evil Team 3. HOWEVER, you will receive 1/4 Victory points for any figures you KO who are on the same side of the law as you. Same applies for team gooders...they may shoot each other....however I see less of a motivation to do this than with Evil. Team Good receives their victory points for Money Objects on the map at the end of the game no matter who has them in their possession.

The large truck with "Spear of Light Laser Cutting" painted on the side turned the corner and slowly creeped down the alley. The blond woman driving the van is wearing a hat and sunglasses despite the heat and the dark confines of the alley. She stopped the truck and turned arround to the interior of the truck. "Where should I park this thing?"
A voice from the back replied, "How should I know you have the map!"
Inside the truck Doctor Octopus was working on the final touches of the Doombot.
"Couldn't you have gotten one that started in one piece?" Sandman rasped from his perch looking over the sholder of Doc Ock.
"It was on Sale. And we didn't have enough money to be selective. Now shut up and let me work. And hold that light still or give it to someone else."
Boomerang caught Whirlwind's eye and rolled his own, then went back to their game of tic tac toe in the dust on the side of the truck.
Bullseye went to the front of the truck and looked out the windshield. "Well the Midtown bank is over there. So just get us close to it and we will figure out the rest Honey. No sign of our teamates though Doc."
Under her breath the woman mutters, "One more year of Med. school and I can quit doing this."

Blah! Ultimate X-men! Sorry don't know nothing about them. I haven't read comics in awhile.
It is funny that two people had picked Logan, and if I had got on in time, I would have picked him too! Also ACL_Maurader I think Paramedics are limited to the good side. That is how we did it last game, but I'm not positive about it.
Anyway, I made team awhile back and always wanted to try it. I'm not sure if the better mobilty helps it, hurts it but here is the team.

The Panther leaves Hercules's word out in air for a moment to let Hercules know this mission is serious.
"Cap's orders should be enough. Anyway, the space crystal that Pym found can be used for many bad things if it falls into the wrong hands. It is a good thing that we got a tip that something could go down today."
"But how would someone know that the crystal is here." Panther mumbles to himself
"Beats me!"
"Huh? Spiderman!"
"Right the first time, so you thinking something might down in the bank today?"
"Yeah, how did you find out?"
"I didn't, I'm just waiting for some dumbo to rob the armor truck like they do every week around this time, and then I spotted you two up here.
"So, we aren't hidden well?"
"Not at all Herc, I could see you better than the Great Wall of China if I was in space, said Spiderman. So you guys here alone?"
"No, look down at the street by that newstand." You see that man with the glasses with the lady who looks like a stiff board?" asked the Panther.
Yeah?
"Look closer"
"What that is Moondragon with one of those robots that Nick Fury uses !"
"Impressive!" Spiderman thinks to himself "She is telepathically blocking everyone's mind making them see ordinary people.
"Neat trick Spider huh?" says Herc
"Yeah, all that lady needs is a pink hat."
"We also have a member of the crystal evacuation team, the rest will arrive later this afternoon. She is helping us keep an eye out for supicious activity, but her greatest asset is her medical ability. " explained Panther
"My spidersence has been tingling since I got here." Spiderman thinks to himself "Good thing I set up those cameras when I saw Hercules and Panther."
*Spiderman gets a stronger ting in his spider sence*
"I have a feeling something is going to go down real soon Panther." Spiderman says "You and Herc better get down there."
Panther doesn't hesistate and move closer to the street ordering Hercules to come
Spidey peers over the edge and looks at the cameras. "I hope they won't have to be used today, but I have a feeling that just won't be the case." Spiderman thinks.

Though, as Brazil is the big Evil, he'll probably need to make the final call on changing teams (you know, so it's fair and all). Cool?
We could wreak some serious havok on those baddies with that Avengers team you posted ... but the Outwits from your Bat-team would come in real handy when breaking down the Abdomination (:)). So, either way, I'm good with it.

The ninja stepped out of the shadows, his breathing no louder than a whisper. He spoke to the man with the skull for a face, who nodded and whispered more instructions. A second shadow peeled itself from the side wall and the two ninjas ran silently out of sight.
Taskmaster turned to the others. "The target is almost here."
Madame Masque's face was unreadable through the metal skin, but her tone was clear. "Finally!"
"HAIL HYDRA!" said her two escorts, dressed in matching green and yellow tunics.
"You know," said Blizzard, who was fiddling with his gloves, "your organization would be a lot more secret if you didn't wear such retarded uniforms on a job."
"Listen pal," said the Hydra operative, stepping forward.
"Greg, don't," said the medic, stopping him with her hand. "He's just trying to get a rise out of you."
Madame Masque came between them. "This solves nothing. Remember our mission. Stay away from Blizzard. Stick close to me."
"Yeah," said Blizzard, "stay away from me. I don't want you to sell me Amway or something."
The Hydra Operative glared at Blizzard, but kept silent.
Mr. Hyde moved out of the shadows to join the rest of the criminals. "Taskmaster, before I commit to this plan of yours, what assurances can you give me about that thing you're keeping company with?"
Taskmaster glanced at the Skrull beside him. The Skrull spoke up. "Taskmaster is in my employ. I am here to observe."
Taskmaster added, "I go where the money is, Hyde. He wants to enroll in crime school, who am I to stop him?"
Blizzard scratched his face through his mask. "I can't believe I'm working with a dirty skrull."
"Tell me about it," muttered the Hydra medic.
"Ah, well, it could be worse. Could be another Hydra agent."
"That's it!" The Hydra Operative drew his gun and pointed it at Blizzard. Before any shots could be fired, Mr. Hyde intervened.
"Quiet, underling!" he growled. "I can hear the armored car."
Taskmaster shook his head. Amateurs, the lot of them.

"Things are pretty quiet here today, eh Rob?" asked Denny, as he placed a sack of money on a small tray in the vault. A fresh young Security Guard working for Astro Security, Denny was spoiling for action, and was always bothering his boss, Rob, asking to hear stories about the time Rhino tried to rob the cash transport, or the time Nightwing and Robin stopped the Riddler from stealing some artwork.
"Yeah, too quiet." answered Rob, as he stood guard outside the vault. He had made up most of the stories he told Denny, but things did seem strange today. There was very little traffic, and there were not many pedestrians in front of the bank. "Let's get back to Cal in the truck. Hurry up."
Cal was feeling uneasy as well, and he couldn't help but finger his side arm as he stood by the truck. "I'm awful exposed out here."
Meanwhile, Mr. Gumpertz, the bank's daily security guard, was oblivious to the growing danger. He simply leaned against the wall, waiving politely to the few customers, and fantasizing about taking the assistant manager to Tahiti.

"haven't you got that thing fixed yet" asked the lanky commander of this foray, he who is know best as The Leader
(thought qietly as he glances over at the dark figure of
Apocalypse) "hand me that remote and let me see if i can get it working tight"
"i've been trying sir, but i'm a medic not a tech wizard...here"
she hands the remote control...which looks amazingly like one for a childs playtoy.
"Sasha, honey stop tickling my fins" says the scaled creature who once was Emil Blonsky....Abomination...as his large weight spreads cracks in the walkway of the sewer.
"look Donna...the X-men and....who are those two teenage kids with them....." says the Leaders flunky, Fred through the rebreather device in his radiation suit.
"I know" says Donna over her shoulder "and i thought i saw some movement in the shadows two...something that looked like a lage bat"
Sasha absent mindedly rubbing Abominations fins....says"why are you guys wearing those suits?"
Fred responds, glancing at both The Leader and Abomination,
"ummm don't you know they are both...radioactive...."
Sasha...her eyes flaring green briefly says "no"

Beast: And then he said she was dressed like one of Cher's back up singers.

Doc Samson: You're just upset that the loser has to buy the beer for the next game.

There is a stiring in the bushes across the street from the Bank. And some suspicion looking "Citizens" just pulled out consealed weapons....those aren't Citizens. Those are the Diablos...the most feared street gang in town. Looks like the supervillans weren't the only ones with thier eyes on that armored car. Although they were the first ones to spring into action, I don't think the Diablos quite knew what was soon to be in store for them...

"We don't have time for this!" Sandman Hissed.
"Fine. Now to turn it on." Doc Ock proclaimed as he set the robot upright with his tentacles.
"I am DOOM!" Screamed the doombot. Which would have been impressive if its voice did not sound like the smallest munchkin from OZ.
"What did you do? Put Helium in its voice box?" quipped Whirlwind.
"No worries now mate. No problem separating out our robot from the real McCoy. Just leave the Sheilah behind and off we go." Boomerang opened the back door and stepped out.
Boomerang hopped after him and saw an old friend. "Antwar What you doing here man?"
"Just heading over to the bank. How about you my man. Whoah you got a crew with ya. You must be heading to crash the bank."
"That obvious huh. Whatchu come with us. We just had a bailer you could take her place."
"Sounds like a plan man."
After a short walk down some alleys the bank was only a short block away.
Doctor Octopus' steel tentacles grasped walls and pulled their master up the side of the building to the roof. He signaled Bullseye and Boomerang to follow. The doombot sqeaked "Doom will survey the terrain and hatch a cunning scheme."
Sandman and Whirlwind casually made their way around the corner and onto the street.

The Leader rubs his sore brain membranes......he begins to think the 3rd bowl of jambalaya he had down in the french quarter has started to get to him.
he could have sworn at first that he had picked up the familiar mental patterns of jennifer...his old enemies cousin. but then the were gone as was that stench of brimstone.
and there were the reported sightings of a the bat in the sewers.....then they were gone and now he feels jennifer again.
he belches abruptly and hopes the hallucinations aren't the sign of a deeper problem as he does a quick disco move he picked up when he was out two night ago with his friend Bob.

after daily checks of your last battle a guy goes outta town for 4 days and all the sudden finds himself far from his muir island vacation back to the dirt and grime of the city. But maybe fate will add some action to his boring day as he sits in his office and looks out the window at the bank across the street, wishing that he could be one of those super heroes he sees on the news everyday.

To answer JacinB's question.
The phasers can go from Undergound to Street level, but not the other way around (too risky because of so much solid ground area) The manholes one way to get from street to sewer level and visa versa, the other two ways are by doing 5 damage to the last undergound square at the end of the tunnel, a hole will open in the vault floor. And by doing 3 damage to the grating at the end of the creek in the park you can enter or leave the sewer level there.
Ack, I see I didn't post the exit point for Evil team 3...they leave the same place as Evil Team 1. See post 18.

I was curious what you use to create, edit and manage your maps for games? Do you simply use Photoshop (or something similar) or do you have something more advanced that helps manage the game for you?
Again, sorry for butting in...just a lurker with a question...

Actually I use something less advanced. I'm just using the paint program that comes with the opporating system. It's not what you'd call a full featured art program, but these pictures are pretty simple and it does the trick. I edit them using the .bmp files which are much cleaner than the .jpg versions, then I save them in both formats and post the .jpg versions. It's pretty quick and easy to edit the map and move pieces around.

I hate cluttering your game with this stuff...but I see the game(s) you manage to run and I'm impressed and want to pick your brain:)
If you'd rather not clutter here I started another thread on the Play By Post board titled "What System do you use" if you want to take the conversation there....
I'm surprised you say "It's pretty quick and easy to edit the map and move pieces around." because I find that the HARDEST thing about using Paint or other such program. When the characters move how exactly to you edit the map? I assume you could just select, copy & paste from the icons on the bottom of the map to the new locations but how to you "erase" the old icons short of recoloring the map?

Yup, team evil can move.
I move them just like you said. To erase them I cut and paste the original terrain back onto the square they were in. I either use a similar terrain somewhere else on the map or I open another instance of paint with the original map on it, find the square I need copy it to the clipboard (ctrl+C), then go back to the current map and past it in (ctrl+V).

Sauron takes flight to follow his masters commands, but just before he leaves Mystique grabs onto his legs.

Yeah Liquid, we got pushed back a day because the server I usually post these maps on is having mental problems. So anyhow, it is team Evil's turn today, tomorrow the cops and team Good will be up.

Water is hindering terrain for the purposes of movement right? I.E. when first oging into it you have to stop then after that your move is half right? It only affects Mystique on my team, but I wanted to make sure.....I still think guys with stealth should be able to hide there :p just imagine a bunch of ninjas suddenly poppin gup from the water :devious:
is it just me or is this the most water seen on a map?....where's Aquaman when you need him?
You're exactly right about the effects of water....well except for the ninja part :) (I think Aquaman is on one of the other maps carrying around a bolder.)

It would be cool if people like Aquaman and Grundy show up as guest analyst on Thor's Mojo Program.
Yeah Aquaman would kick some ninja but in the water, with a big boulder no less.

He who is known as The Leader watches the dread lord Apocalypse and his band of misfits shoulder past them on the walkway. Shuddering at the proximity to his evilness.He looks at the medic and his brain pulses "follow as best you can, but be quick about it." (perplexing her movement up to 7)
Fiddling with the remote control for the bot, The Leader cuses as the bot suddenly squawks and grabs him by the arms and flys him across the sewer, bellowing "MUUD OBEYS"; (doombot fails leadership on roll of 3 and taxis Leader)
Abomination laughs heartily and bounds down the walk and lands with a splash up to his knees in the sludge. Sasha squeals "Emmers don't leave me"
"Emmers?" says The Leader
with a glare the scaled monster growls "Not one word of this Stern"
Donna moves through the murk muttering something underbreath about needing a new line of work.
Fred checks the magazine on his weapon. and Sasha looks at the shifting figure of Mystique in front of her as she takes the form of the man she loves, Abomination "emmmers ?"she questions before mystique gives an evil laugh and turns back into her blue form, licking her lips..."only if you want me to be"

The doombot bellowed in a voice that would shatter crystal with its pitch. "Surrender now and we will spare your lives!"
"So much for the element of surprise. I think everyone on the planet now knows we are here." Gripped Bullseye.
Doctor Octopus hit the Doombot on the back of the head with his tenticle and said "Idiot! You are supposed to help us not get us killed!"
With the demise of the stunned security guard Whirlwind realizes his chance. "I'll get the money, back me up!" He spinns up to speed and zips the entire distance to the back of the armored car.
Sandman grumbles "If you don't get your butt shot off first." He flowed across the street into the park. Squeezed between several bushes and stopped on the sidwalk across from the bank.
"Get me over there you overgrown bucket of bolts!" Screamed Doctor Octopus.
"Doom carries no onerk" The last part was when Doctor Octopus used a bladed tenticle blade to surgically eliminate the high pitched screaching coming from the voicebox by piercing the speaker.
Using his lower tenticles to fling the Doombot in the desired direction Doc Ock then leaped after the flying Doom replica and grabbed its legs with his upper tenticles. He then flung himself ahead of the Doombot to land next to Sandman.

"Hey loser!" he shouted, and raised his hands and fired a sheet of ice at the criminal watching the action from across the street.
Hyde ran forward, trying to keep the battle in sight. So much for sticking to the plan.
Asano heard the gunfire, the screams, and the sound of wind, and broke from his cover to move forward. He knew that Massimo would follow orders, as well. It was sure to be a ferocious battle. The sword in his sheath sang to him, but he willed it to be quiet. Soon, he thought, very soon...

The crew tries to look around the building to see what's happening. Beast walks up the side of the building as Doc Samson hops up to look around. They come back down to report.
Beast: Is that bank in the same county?
Doc Samson: Yes. But a different zip code.
Gambit: We need somet'ing that can fly.
Quicksilver: Pansies.
Gambit: Gimme a minute. I can 'wire one of the cars around the corner.
Doc Samson: Haven't your criminal tendancies gotten you in enough trouble?
Gambit: Not dis week. Mebbe I can find a ride big enough for your mouth and Quicksilver's ego.
Quicksilver: I'll meet you there.
Beast puts an arm on Quicksilver before he can get started.
Beast: Wait, that's just what they'd expect. Ladies...
Black Cat and Elektra walk through the alley toward the next building.
Felicia: Pansies.
Elektra: You know, I still owe you for the 'Wedding' joke.

BLAM! BLAM!
The shots ring through the bank and Mr. Gumpertz is the first to react, darting to the entrance. Outside, he sees the truck security guard, Cal, down on the ground an bleeding heavily. “Dammit!” he yells, as he then sees a green, whirring, blur near the truck doors. He draws his weapon, and soon realizes that he hasn’t a prayer of hitting the Whirlwind. Determined, he takes another step, and notices a thug with a smoking gun just outside the door. Surprised, Gumpertz raises his gun and brings the barrel down on the thug’s head hard.
Meanwhile...near the vault...
“The hell was that?” asks Denny, as he races towards the door.
“Denny, wait!” hollers Rob, as he draws his gun and follows. He settles in behind a desk and yells into his radio, “Shots fired at 9th National! Shots fired! We need back-up immediately!”
Moves:
PD4 (Gumpertz) charges to DD12 and attacks the Vet. Thug at EE13. Needs a 7, rolls a 9, hits for 1 click.

jacinb- if i read this right...both evil teams must exit the map
on the street or the sidewalks centered at ZZ39 or LL50 thats in the lower right corner of the map. upper level.
Well, then that changes my game plan completely ... :)
"Wait a minute," Logan says, stopping the team's advance through the sewers.
"What is it?" Cyclops asks.
"I hear gunfire," Logan answers. "Topside."
"We can't just abandon these guys down here, can we?" Kitty asked. "What if they get into the vault?"
Logan started toward the ladder, "If they're going after that crystal like the Professor said, they're going to have to come out of the sewers some time. I plan on being up there waiting for them." He pushed the lid aside and climbed up into the light.
Cyclops nodded, "Logan's right. And if there's a gun battle going on, there's already an assault happening up at street-level. Let's get up there and see what we can do to help out."
Results:
All of my characters (except the Paramedic) are now on the Street Level ...

Also, Logan should be the only one to suffer from the -1 movement penalty for changing elevations as Iceman flew, and Shadowcat flew/phased to get where they are now, right?

"Well, he had a few modifications." Moondragon explained
"I am no bot, I am DOOM, Victor Von DOOM ,do you dare insult me?" said Agent Beaulieu as his eyes begin to glow red.
"You aren't Doom, you insulent robot." challenged Hercules "You are but a mere robot."
"How dare you insult ME!!!" exclaimed Beaulieu as his hand began to glow with red energy."
"Hercules, has no problem accepting challenges from a loose robot."
"Blasphemy!!!" exclaimed the robot as it point its laser hand at Hercules.
Bang!......Bang!
Hercules rubs his chest and looks curiously to see if he is injured.
"Ha!! You didn't even scratch me! "
"The bank Hercules! Everyone move out!" says Panther "We must try and block off their escape."
"Right!" says Spiderman then he looks back at Hercules and Agent Beaulieu AKA DOOM who are getting ready to square off, "Moondragon see if you can.....uh..keep DOOM there from hurting anyone."
Moondragon stares at Spiderman blankly.
"Maybe Mrs. Foster here can help you."
Jane Foster stares at Spiderman blanky.
"Right!" say Spiderman and then he cuts a couple of flips to an air condition unit a rips it off the roof.
"Stupid Spider thinks he is the boss of me.
With Agent Beaulieu's back turned from Hercules and its attention towards Moondragon, Hercules charges Agent Beaulieu.
"You think you can control ME!!!?" Agent Beaulieu asks Moondragon.
"You dare turn your back on the Son of Zeus, pathetic being."
Hercule over runs his mark and Dr. Doom...I mean Agent Beaulieu grabs Hercules and throws him in the street. Hercules is stopped cold after slamming into a city bus.
"You DARE test the POWER of DOOM?"
"UUggh" Hercules says rubbing his head
"Come on, Hercules get up! Don't let Doom beat you!" says an 85 year old lady on the bus.
"It is DOOM" Agent Beaulieu tell the old lady.
Then the old lady waves here stick at Agent Beaulieu
"You challenge DOOM." Agent Beaulieu says as his eyes begin to glow red.
"Maybe I do need to control you." Moondragon says.
"Ha! control ME? Go ahead and try Ms. Cleao." Agent Beaulieu says as Moondragon telecanetically picks him up and flys fowards.
As they move up foward to Hercules he removes himself from the bus.
"Don't hide behind a women, FACE ME!!"
"Will you be OK?" Panther asks Jane Foster
"If I keep away from that robot I will." says Foster
Black Panther nods and moves out avoiding the fight between Hercules and the robot.
"Come on, Come on, Step up to the plate cowtipper!" Beaulieu says to Hercules keeping Moondragon inbetween himself and Hercules

We have our first illegal move!! Congrats to Mark Finn for breaking the ice. :)
Don't let it bother you at least you set up in the correct starting area...we had a violator there too, but I let that slide. Anyhow, your Ninja tried to move his full movement coming out of hindering terrain. He was put back in the bushes and given a pass action.

Hmm...I have a question. I didn't see Jacin's people there. And, since we can attack each other does that mean we have to break away from each other.
Illegal move number 1 quickly followed by illegal move number 2. Agent Beaulieu (too many vowels in that name), attempted to telekinesis Hercules to a square that was out of his LOS due to where Moondragon was standing. The rest of the move was legal and was completed. If someone wants to correct Super_Member's move...he still has one action left.

No Breakaway needed from friendies ... but a good question.
I was thinking attacking was mostly going to be done by evil loot grabbers....but I could see some good rivalries....let's say no breakaways needed though from figures on the same side as you...this means evil can ignore the adjacent rules for each other and for the street gang, and good can do the same with the cops.

One problem with the map, looks like I also get error #3, Spiderman started in square O-46 and has a move of 8 so he could only have made it to square P-38, but I said P-36 therefore the move would be illegal, so if I can I'll move Spidey to square P-38 and don't forget about the object I picked up at square Q-44.
Actually, megakilroy, that's Ultimate Cyclops so he's wearing black tights. And yes, Picard did authorize them ... or at least a bald guy who looks a lot like him did. ;)

Grimly staring ahead into the sewer, The Leader used his vast mental powers to make his step lighter, as he ran ahead on the walk(perplexing his move to 7).
The Abomination quickly reached into the fetid water and grabbed something, (best not to dwell on what that might be), stuffin it into his cavernous maw. Crunching it down and muttering "tastes just like chicken".
The doombot turns on the walk and watches the entrance to this tunnel and remembers better days......Lord Doom....the cloudy Latverian skies.....oppressed citizenry.....screams of torture in the night.....ah those were the days.
Donna, a doctor specializing in gamma radiation victims, crouches in the darkness and and wonders if the rumors of alligators in the sewers are only urban legend.
Fred, flunky to The Leader, hears in his mind the telepathic commands of the boss, {move to secure our retreat}. and he slowly turns in the water...finger itchy on the trigger and heads toward another tunnel.
Sasha, tired of waiting, walks up right behind the shapeshifter and gingerly steps into the muck....ruining a good pair of nylons. and thinks "what i do for my emmers"

The doombot flailed its arms in a futile attempt to direct the escalating battle. Sandman stood on the sidewalk and watched the fustrated robot gesture futilely back at the building where Bullseye and Boomerang were standing on the roof.
Doctor Octopus with bloodlust filling his eyes charged up to Mr. Gumpertz and grinned evilly. "You should have stayed on the night watch." Doc Ock's tenticles writhed around him like serpents. SNICKT. Blades popped out of the tenticles and then smashed into Mr. Grumperts. The security guard staggered did not go down. "Oh you still have some life in you? Well we will see about that."
Whirlwind stood admiring the interior of the armored truck. "Looks like they got some of the money inside already. We will have to go in and get it."
Antwar moved out into the street to get a better view of what was going on and to see if he could get his hands on some of the cash.
Boomerang stepped over to the edge of the building and looked across the park. "Crikey. Look at all those heroes hopping out of the sewer! You wern't kidding about the 'bot alerting everyone on the planet we were here."

Taskmaster nodded once, and the Massimo flowed out of the darkness, creeping forward cautiously. At least HE didn't have trouble following orders, thought Taskmaster. Turning to Klorphin, he said, "Look, stick close to the big one...but not too close. Understand?"
"Unfortunately, yes," said Klorphin as he stepped around Taskmaster and ran after Mr. Hyde.
Great, thought Taskmaster, as he sprinted across the street and into the park, now the Skrull is cracking wise. He drew two shurikin and hurled them with a snap of his arm into the gang members that Blizzard had already attacked. They spun with a crazy curving motion, around the stand of trees, and both found their targets. Taskmaster could feel the ninja creeping up behind him and smiled under his death's head mask. Now they were back on the plan.

As Elektra and Black Cat start looking around at the park from their new vantage points, Doc Samson outlines a plan.
Doc Samson: Quicksilver, we're going into the alley after the girls. Give us a minute to move and then come out into the street on the other side.
Quicksilver: Who's we?
Doc Samson: Me and the X-Men.
Quicksilver: I'm an X-Man.
Gambit: Aren't you more of an Ex, Man?
Quicksilver gives the cajun a frosty glare he inherited from his Father's side of the family.
Beast: It's not a bad plan. We need to try to move as a unit because we have so much ground to cover.
Quicksilver: I could be there now.
Quicksilver moves so fast he becomes a blur.
Quicksilver: And I could be getting back from there, now.
Doc Samson: Have you ever seen the end of a fight, or do you run out and get clocked and have to wake up to find out if you're on the winnning side?
Selma: What about me?
Doc Samson: Come along with Quicksilver.
Gambit: Don worry, he makes a great target.
Doc Samson, Beast and Gambit make their way past Selma into the alley.
Quicksilver: Gambit, you're a lousy poker player.
Gambit pulls a card from his Marvel Universe Deck of Death and flips it to Quicksilver. He is joining the others as Quicksilver catches the card.
Gambit: An you used to bunk with that guy.
Quicksilver turns the card over to see the grinning face of the Toad, the two of clubs.

Once again the Leader uses his superior mental capabilities, first telepathically sending to his brawny ally a message of faith and understanding .......
Abomination see's The Leader standing in a dress holding pom poms "rah rah sis boom bah hit nightcrawler in the jaw...
abomination abomination he's our thing if he cant do it it let's all sing".....an image of apocalypse, sauron,and the doombot at microphones saying "doo doo doo...doo...doo doo...doo doo...doo doo doo...doo...doo doo...doo doo."
(perplexing abominations move up one)
with that accomplished The Leader uses his incredible willpower to rush toward a few more steps and look into the tunnel that allows access to the vault.
Abomination shakes the visions of apocalypse as a back up singer out of his mind and grumbles "i never liked Lou Reed's songs anyway"and leaps down the sewer snatching up the crumbled block of masonry (ho at jj8)he ends up just inside of the tunnel looking at the rising steps to the vaults steel reinforced bottom.
the Doombot reacts to Leaders fiddling with the remote by activating his boot jets and hovering slowly back toward the balance of their group. lowering himself into the water near the frightened medic.
Donna watched with eagerness as the Doombot came back and landed near her. and then she felt Apocalypses hand touch the collar of her suit...?
Sasha pulls something wet...and slimy from between her legs and flings away as mystique chuckles
Fred chuckles low in his throat as an image of him popping out of the water and raining death down on unsuspecting heroes comes into mind

Mr. Hyde lumbered forward, eyes on his quarry, and rounding the corner of the park, grabbed a phone booth out of the concrete with a swipe of his tremendous arm. The rest of his associates were crowding the street, as stunned thugs and criminals watched the villains' sudden appearance. As he switched the phone booth from his left hand to his right, he idly thought that Taskmaster might start recruiting from the ruffians.
Blizzard skated forward in front of Doctor Octopus and said, "Out of the way, Doc!" as he fired a blast of concentrated cold at the target of his earlier attack. The pair of gang members were engulfed in frost.
"It's a pity you didn't think of that earlier," muttered Octopus.
"Aw, quit bellyachin', Roy Orbison," Blizzard retorted.
Meanwhile, at the back of the procession, Asano heard a sibilant "Hsst!" He glanced around and spied Massimo creeping forward in inky darkness. His hand was outstretched, finger crooked.
What a suckup, thought Asano, as he watched Massimo fall into line with the rest of the group. Working for Gaijin has softened his spirit, Asano reflected, as he pulled himself out of cover and reluctantly joined the group.

The Doombot made futile gestures at Doctor Octopus and the Bank distracting him from his dismembering of Mr. Gumpertz.
Sandman seeing Mr. Grumpertz grab at his gun rushed forward and said "Nighty Night!" He then pounded him in the face with a giant mallet of a hand, smashing Mr. Gumpertz face into a bloody pulp. Mr. Gumpertz limp form flowed down onto the floor.
"Move your butt Whirlwind! Get that money to Antwar and get back here." Whirlwind decided that anywhere but here would be a good place to be. He grabbed a bag of money and ran to where Antwar was standing in the middle of the street eying the carnage. "Special delivery for Doctor Octopus care of Antwar. You had better head back to the alley with this." "You bet I will. Have you seen the Leather and Spandex crews across the way? We are going to have our hands full in a few minutes." With that Whirlwind turned and started back toward the bank.
The Doombot realizing that his gestures where futile moved behind the truck hoping that being closer would make Doctor Octopus see the brilliance of his plan. Seeing that Sandman had taken his kill Doctor Octopus took out his frustration on the Doombot "You worthless pile of bolts! Do something useful and blast those Diablos!" Feeling a burning anger building in him the doombot turned on the two criminals who where standing stunned on the grass. A small mechanical voice spoke out "Voice system back on line." Then a girlie voice squealed out "Doom shares with no one!" And blasted the Henchman with all the furry Doctor Octopus's words had put in him. The resulting blast fried the Henchman and left his smoking corpse in the blackened and burned grass.
(On a side note it does seem that the Diablo's have not done anything but take a blasting. Is anyone still playing those characters? Everyone else seems to be getting their moves in though.
I am having a blast! This is awesome!:grin: )

Moday is Good's move. Those who didn't take their turns over the weekends are given pass actions, clearing all of their characters. At least, that's the way that it's worked in every game thus far ...
Also, as soon as the map gets updated, I'll make my move. I was out of town on Saturday (I knew I was going, I just expected to be back in time to take my turn and I wasn't) ... :)

Evil is allowed to shoot the Diablo's as well as the other Evil team, however they only receive 1/4 points for them. Cops and Team Goodies they receive full points for. And Visa Versa for Team Good.
Also...those sirens you heard in the background, just arrived on the scene.
Sorry about not being around or getting the map updated on the weekend. I had family stuff going on and Shavo also wasn't available for mapping. If one of you guys is willing to update the map on the weekends let me know. (1 volunteer needed) Please don't volunteer if you don't have high speed capability. The bitmaps are over 5 meg and are much easier to work with than the .jpg files. I will train the map updater if nessesary, it's not too tough. If someone could volunteer by next weekend that would be great.

hey brazil, we of team evil 1 really do appreciate the effort to help us but clones may be a bit off. liquid havoks whole team is in duplicate on the sewer map...as is my poor old medic donna. now i could put two medics to good use....but hey i think the goody two shoes might call foul. thanks for your hard work on keeping the maps clean....and kisarge that was some radio call....haha

Seeing as how I did not catch the error until today, (error made Friday), and you certainly would have at the very least been able to do something with Taskmaster on Sunday, I will go ahead and give you the move action. However, normally he would stay....but normally it would need to be caught by the end of the next day. Sorry about being AWOL over the weekend. I will correct Taskmaster's postion now.

Denny sees blood splatter on the wall near the door, just as Mr. Gumpertz' hat flies through the lobby. "Oh my God! Oh my God! What the heck is going on out there?"
Rob tries to calm his partner, "Don't worry, kid, I hear the sirens outside. We've got som back-up. Now just hold your position and don't let anyone through to the vault!"
SCREEEEEEEECHH!!!
Two City Police cruisers tear into the scene, skidding to a stop at the corners of the building. The cops at the south-west corner exit the cruiser and take up positions. On the south east, however, the cops jump right into action. Officer Kendrick leaps out and squats behind the open passenger door, aims, and fires at Blizzard, winging him. Kendrick's partner, Sgt. Glendon fires quickly at the con artist, but didn't take time to set himself, and the recoil from his shotgun suprises him. He falls back into the cruiser, hitting his head. Finally, Sgt. Simms takes careful aim at the spinning green mass known as Whirlwind. He fires, and though his aim is true, the bullet bounces away from the spinning mutant harmlessly.
On the south west corner, Sgt. Murtaugh looks grim. "We're going to need more guys, and paramedics."

super_member....i believe you can move 1/2 and use tk...as both running shot and charge allow 1/2 move and ranged or close comat actions, repsectively. and all characters have running shot and/or charge; and they peform as we are familiar with. however the person being tk'd cannot take an action after the tk he ends his turn with a pass action. is ready for next turn to lay some smacky down.....

Hercules lands next to Beaulieu peacefully.
"Ah, come back for more have you?" says Agent Beaulieu. "Then DOOM shall give you more."
"No wait, I came to apologize to you, and I want to help you."
An odd look appears on Hercules face like he is forcing a smile back, a few seconds later Hercules smiles.
Awww, come to your sences have you? Although DOOM doesn't need your help and won't pay you for it, you can follow along.
"I am sorry Doom, I'am arrogant, narcissist, unkempt and I am very rude, did I mention unkempt? I am hardly worthy to walk this Earth much less be the Son of Zues." says Hercules
"Aw yes, go on" says Beaulieu.
Just then Moondragon telekintically gains control of Agent Beaulieu again.
"DOOM may have to crush you lady." says Beaulieu.
Just then Moondragon's mind control of Hercules ends.
Black Panther sighs, "I hope some of these hooligans can straigten up and provide me with some back up, or those cops will be slaughtered.

Hmmm, I would like an offical ruling on the tk thing. The running shot part of it made sence, but the part where the tked person won't be able to take an action, doesn't seem right to me since it isn't offically taxing. I just want all the tk rules cleared before it happens at an important time.

I can certainly see that, but I can also see them as being blocking terrain. Hindering implies that I can run over them, and while that may be the case, I have to stop when I get on the hood of the car, and complete my move action later. Blocking terrain means that only leapers can get over it with no restrictions. It also means that bullets don't go through the car, as opposed to a minus 1 for hindering. But, again, I will abide by Brazil's intent.
Rulings -
The Police car like all other cars is only hindering terrain, therefore Kirsarge did everything properly. Blocking terrain, on this map like all wizkids maps have thick black lines around them. Like the air conditioners on the rooves, those are blocking terrain. All other items are hindering terrain.
Can you move and use Telekinisis? This is not a new rule, this is an old rule, use all current rules on running shot for figures without it on their dial. You can use charge and Telekinisis at the same time. Telekinisis counts as a close combat action and Charge lets you move half your movement and use a Close Combat Action.
oops, I see Clixhunter already answered that one...he's right.
Supermember - Your Moondragon move is illegal. She can not pick up Hercules as Hercules is carrying an object.
BTW, the map is updated....last time today, I'm off to the movies.

The sound of sirens finaly brought Bullseye out of his reverie. "Hey Cops! I owe them for locking me up last time." He pulled out his trusty pistol and ran over to the edge of the building. "What do you know they are even in range, unlike those super types across the park." He raised his gun and let two rounds fly at the cops. Both rounds found homes in the left arms of cops.
"Hey now you can't have all the fun! Now that you have shown me the range I can do this." Getting a running start Boomerang pulled out two of his second favorite (his favorite being explosive and trickier to throw) weapons and let one fly from each hand. They wistled through the air around the cops and on the way back hit each on the right arm. "HA! beat that!" "Next time I'll bank my shots." replied Bullseye.
Antwar seeing the cops bearing down on him grabbed the money and sprinted for the alley. I should be safe for a second until I catch my breath.
Doctor Octopus was seething. He was starting to see red. Sandman took his kill. The Doombot couldn't even take out a lousy henchman. The Doombot turned to him. "Why don't you take out your anger on the teller's window so we can get through." Doc Ock was stunned. The voice could have belonged to a munchkin from OZ, but it made sense! Doctor Octopus grabbed the limp form of Mr. Gumpertz and ran full speed to the tellers' window, letting all of his rage build up. He then hurtled Mr. Gumpertz at the window with all his might and furry. With a brittle crunch cracks spiderwebed across a section of glass. Mr. Gumpertz mangled remains plopped to the floor. Just when it appeared that the window had withstood the assault, it popped out of its casing and fell inward on the tellers station.

Taskmaster glanced at the roof and gave a quick smile at the support fire. Bullseye was unpredictable, but his loyalty alway followed who was paying him. He withdrew two throwing knives from his arsenal and sang, very softly, "When Captain America throws his mighty shiiiiiield..." and let them fly.
The blades buried themselves in the necks of the stunned cops, who had turned in the direction of the new shooters. They stumbled and staggered away from the police car before expiring in a flopping heap.
Klorphin crossed the park and drew up next to a stunned Blizzard, who watched the various bullets, boomerangs, and knives decend upon the cops like a flurry of bats. Klorphin noticed the hole in Blizzard's suit and said, "Are you all right?"
"That shamus knocked me off my best click!"
"What?" asked the Skrull.
Blizzard sighed. "It's meta-humor. Forget it."
Asano moved up behind Massimo and touched his shoulder. "What did I miss?"

The Leader, for his much vaunted intelligence, still was having a difficult time figuring out this jury rigged remote for the doombot. muttering under his breath his focus temporarily left the action.
Abomination seeing his ally's lack of leadership stepped into the breach and yelled "MEDIC!!" no flair, no style.....just one word. which of course brought her running. he grumbled as she went by him "get in the tunnel, we'll need you to carry loot."
Donna, responding to the all too common phrase, pushed past the dark lord "excuse me your vileness" she apologized as she ran up the walkway and squeezed past the towering figure of Abomination. into the tunnel she went stopping a few feet from the tiered floor and the bank vault.
the Doombot's red eyes searched the darkness for the presence of enemies and his one finger motioned for the young girl to come to him "come with me if you want to live".
Having fulfilled every robots dream of saying that one phrase he knows he can now be disassembled in peace.
Sasha moved through the muck and stench of the sewer, gagging momentarily and moved past the Doombot peeking around the corner. then she looked at the bot and said "take me to my emmers"
Fred, mentally killing another sewer rat {pow}, takes up a vantage point watching down the tunnel that could be used for escape.

Hercules attempted to move to an occupied square...he's given a pass action.
Both Bullseye and Boomerang attempted to do running shots on two figures who were not in their LOS. When you are on the edge of a roof, you have a 90 degree field of vision. If you draw imaginary lines along the diagonals northwest and southwest from the positions you moved them to, those diagonals and all the squares inbetween represent the field of vision from the edge of the roof. The cops you shot at were outside of that field.
Taskmaster rolled a critical hit on two cops, the attack was legal, however the damage is not 3, but rather 2 each. Multiple target attacks do a base 1 damage + 1 for the critical. So the two cops in question have 2 damage each and were knocked back. For future referance, when you knock a figure back using a ranged attack you get your choice of locations where you want to knock the figure back to. As you did not specify, I picked a couple for you. In the future please choose them when you roll knockback.
Ninja 1 had moved on Sunday so he was pushed to do the move you posted. As you did not post that Ninja 1 pushed, I'm guessing you did not see that he had an action token on him, you can take back this move if you do so before midnight. (It is grey area illegal since you didn't specify that you were pushing...however if you don't change it by midnight it will stand.)
Everything else looked good. Evil's turn continues.

At the southeast corner, the group of cops scramble to their feet, and look around, thinking about re-grouping and finding targets.

Gunfire sounds near the Ninth National Bank alerting Doc Samson and crew that the action has started without them.
Gambit: Sounds like .357's. Must be cops.
Beast: We'd better get over there.
Two more shots ring out and echo across the park.
Gambit: That sounded more like a Desert Eagle. Probably a sniper. Overconfident to use dat kind of artillery.
Doc Samson: I'll take the lead.

Ignoring the quip, Doc Samson looks across the lot and sees a rusty red Yugo with a black hard top. A quick check of the back end yields a refreshing array of political statements.

We essentially, have what, three turns to stop Silver Samurai and more from scooting out with the gem. I'm getting close enough to strike within a turn or three, but I'll be busy topside with Doc Ock and Taskmaster for a while.
And we almost have a thug off the board with a bag of cash.
Does that take him out of the game permanently?

Manhole covers...actually they are a special terrain feature for this map....they do not block LOS like regular light objects. But they can be used as projectiles with the same effect as light objects. Since they don't effect LOS as objects, I'm going to call any rubble that may occur if they are destroyed, negligable, and say they don't create rubble when they are destroyed. As long as I'm making up house rules here for the scenerio, I figured I should go ahead and make things realistic. You know what I should have done was made cars objects and not had sille "X's" on the map...next game I think I'll do that. For now though, lets just go with the special rule I put above for manhole covers and do all other terrain features normally.

No story today my internet has been off and on.
I'm getting close enough to strike within a turn or three, but I'll be busy topside with Doc Ock and Taskmaster for a while.
I would be closer if I haven't had two illegal moves and my Mandroid mismoved where I have to recover. Hopefully once I get Hercules in place this time I can start to get across the board. I think I will still be able to get off most of my setup off even with the earlier problems.

The Leader looked at the bottom of the bank vault and smiled. The plan was coming together. Soon they would have access the Q39 flux capacitor, the crystal discovered by Hank Pym; of course knowing Pym it was a multi-faceted gem with differing personalities.
quickly he sent a message telepathically to all of the members of both "crews"..{ soon we will be in the vault. it is time we began thinking of the escape. Apocalypse has a plan and we will follow his lead on this. and if his fails i have a back up.....lets just hope they arent the same...hahahahaha}
Abomination was shaping the masonry with his nails so it looked like a large spear.
Donna glanced back and said..."what are you doing?"
"Makin a can opener" was his reply.
"for?" said the none to savvy medic.
"openin a can of dough" said Abomination as he glanced at the bank vault. from down the hall in the sewer he heard Sasha explaining to the bot the need to see her "emmers"...that made him grimace....but if a simple nick name could make her happy. then......
the doombot glanced at the group heading towards the vault and said in his metallic voice..."it will get dangerous from here on" and for an instance Sasha was sure he was speaking like that big brained guy, the Leader.
"I dont care...my emmers needs me. and i'm going" with that her brown eyes flashed green and the bots head turned abruptly..."warning gamma radiation influx detected"
Fred casually continued to pretend to shoot the sewer critters....{pow...pow...pow} then he blew across the muzzle of his barrel like hed seen them do in the movies...soon he would be doing this for real.

I'm just trying to help you out... of the game.
I think there is an assumption that you will use PC to keep your guys from getting tagged if possible. And you can use it as a little insurance when you attack. Beside that I think that the player with the character with PC gets to make the call.
I'm just sorry that I was not in time to let Moondragon MC you. Maybe next time.

Sandman flowed down the sidewalk gaining momentum. He caught up with the Thug at the other end of the armored truck. Without pausing he took the huge mallet that smashed Mr. Gumpertz and backhanded the Thug sending him flying. "Blame my mother. She never taught me to share" smirked Sandman. The bag of money arced into the air and landed on the pavement next to the unconscious form of the Thug.
The Doombot imperiously flew into the bank. Shook his head when he saw the hole in the glass. "Inelegant but it will due." He then flew over the counter into the back room. "More money for rebuilding Doom's Empire!" He plucked the bag of money off the desk and headed back toward the front of the bank.
"Lackey! There is another bag of money back here. Get it and let us be gone!" Doctor Octopus fumed at the robot but it did make sense. His tentacles projected him over the counter and to the back room of the bank. There was the bag of money just as the robot said. Doctor Octopus shook his head. It may sound like Napoleon on helium but he could not fault its logic. Grabbing the bag with one hand he propelled himself back out of the bank. Vaulting over the counter in a smooth motion of steel tentacles. Things were looking up. If they could just make their getaway before the heroes arrived!
Whirlwind became a blur. He raced up to the truck and grabbed the last of the money. He then turned back and tossed it at Blizzard, Mr. Hyde, and the Skrull. "Someone take that and get it out of here." He then ran to the prone form of the Thug and grabbed the money that the Thug dropped. "That will teach you to crash a party without an invitation."
Up on the rooftop Bullseye was having a hard time. "So many targets. Which one to shoot?" Boomerang answered "Does it really matter mate? You will probably get them all unless that Taskmaster bloke beats you to it."

The Leader continued to push buttons on the box that controlled the Doom replica. He was stopped by the tinny voice shouting "I AM MUUD" he shook his head...maybe someday he would figure out how Doom controlled these things. (failed leadership roll on 1...shucks)
He glanced up at Abomination and once again filled his mind with images designed to make him feel better of himsel, making his step lighter. This time those images were of a dashing younger scaled monster drinking jack daniels in a bar with flocks of women hanging on his arms saying things like...."ooooo your scales are so green" and "My are the size of your fins an indicator of....." and one particular young lady with flashing green eyes saying "emmers, can we play horsey again" (leader perplexes abominations move up to 9)
then with a grunt and a shake of the remote control the Leader strode into the tunnel right up to the steps.
A smile played across Abominations reptile like face as he hefted the shaft of masonry, and like those olympic athletes who through their javelins, leaped and bounded his way to the vault floor and pushed the self made spear up through the reinforced steel; opening a hole large enough even for that winged servant of Apocalypse. The concrete turned to rubble from his blow. "we're in!!" he shouted. (4+2 for ho=6 0verkill)
with that the Doombot shouted "up....up...and ...away" jets in his feet carrying both him and the scantily clad woman with green fire in her eyes to the walk behind the imposing Lord of Mutants. "you're safe now miss." he said as he landed. and Sasha remarked "OK... domo oregotto...mr roboto"(sorry in advance to anyone knowing japanese at my butcher job here)
Donna, watched in amaziment as Abomination tore open the floor of the vault; and shaking herself she could see what Sasha saw in his pure bestialness and raw strength...best not too dwell on that she thought.
Sasha smoothed over her outfit and took some slimy thing out of her high heeled shoe.."yuck"
and of course...Fred...we haven't forgotten Fred have we....still played army with the local denizons of the deep. [pow...pow...pow...racking up them points.]

Taskmaster spared a glance behind him and grinned. He toggled his wireless mike. "Okay, here they come. Let's do it just like we practiced."

Asano crept up to find an irritated Massimo.
"What are you doing back there?" Massimo whispered.
"Elektra," said Asano.
"Really?" said Massimo eagerly.
"Yep." said Asano.
"Dude, I am so calling dibs," said Massimo.
"You're a ninja; you can't call dibs," said Asano. "This is one of those ninja-code thingies. We have to do it together, or not at all. Family style."
"Uh, are we talking about asking her out, or killing her?" asked Massimo.
"Killing her," said Asano. "Right?"
"Yeah, right, of course," answered Massimo as he guiltily fidgeted with his mask. "Killing her, sure."
Hyde stood in the middle of the street, dumbfounded cops on either side of him, while the rest of his team scurried like worker ants extracting money from the bank. He wished those infernal heroes would hurry up. Out of the corner of his eye, he watched Taskmaster break from his assigned station at the park and meld into the shadowy corner of the opposite building. What was that little weasel up to, he wondereed.

First Federal, I say next time you want to use probability control for one of my figures, go ahead and post the move and results, and if it is a mind control, go ahead and have fun with it. I would ;)

Moondragon could not take an action after being telekinesed. See house rules post 18, rule 5. "No figure who is carried or Telekinesed may take an action before or after being moved."
As for the Probability Control issue, we made a rule that any superpower which sez "Your Turn" only takes effect during "your own figures action post". This means powers like Perplex and Probability Control will not be of much use to teammates figures. If you want to use it for something spacific when an opponent attacks then state so, otherwise opponents must take it in to account and use it against themselves at the first possible opportunity.
I'd also like to address Telekinisis for a second, I think Supermember might have a misconseption. I noticed you tried to TK Moondragon 6 squares from Agetn Beaulieu. Telekinisis, is not based on the figures Range. TK range is always 10 squares from the Object or figure being moved's location. You can move a figure or object 10 squares from it's current location, it has nothing to do with the TKers location other than he must be adjacent to the figure or object being moved. (hope this helps)

OK i'm startin to feel like the map police...hehehe. the money bags that dock ock and the doombot snatched are still there...unless theres more $ to be had there.......
and do we need to show a hole in the bank vault floor to be able to move in...or will it just be "assumed" your humble map reviewer mike (takes bow) thanks again brazil big thumbs up to you!!

Thanks Map Police, I'm trying to work and do this at the same time...Okay, a hole has been made in the vault floor, use it just like you would a sewer with a ladder, on extra square of movement to scramble through unless you fly or Leap/Climb.

Thanks for double checking things...my "D@mn"'s all got edited out. Me things the spfincter police are working a little too hare. "D@mn", you can say on TV during prime time, it's not like I said @!#$%! or #@#$%^$# or Eat my !@$%# you @#$%@# freak. I don't mind a no cussing restriction but d@mn and cr@p I don't think are evel legally cuss words anymore.
Yeah, but if you had too put up with all of the d@mn cr@p that the mods have to put up with, you'd want it banned too. ;)

Silver Samurai glanced to his newest master, Apocalypse. Until the end of his days Silver Samurai swore that the smallest smile crept upon the dark lords visage.
Apocalypse charged forward not caring who he pushed past. Once in the vault Apocalypse saw what he had come for. What he had planned for hundreds of years to get - The Crystal.
"Finally..." He uttered under his breath. He grabbed the container with the crystal, opened it up, thne closed it quickly.

Mystique wasn't a very patient woman, and even when it came to Apocalypse's long and far reaching plans she had her limits. Just when she was about to complain aloud Apocalypse returned to the depths of the sewer.
"Go and collect your payment. Then return quickly. Apocalypse waits for no man.", then to Mystique, "Go ahead and cover our escape."
Upon hearing the orders Silver Samurai quickly darted through the rubble and other cohorts in crime into the vault. He then quickly snatches a bag of money.
Mystique points her gun at Sauron and prods him with it. "Lets go bird boy." He begins to fly and she leaps on again.

Move Five- Action Post
Felicia Hardy leaps down from the edge of the building and scoots to a stop just behind the hot dog stand at the South East edge of the park.
Felicia: Were you boys leaving me behind?
Gambit: Depends, are you the Thing's half- troll cousin?
Felicia: Not hardly.
Quicksilver: Are you just going to sit back here and talk them to death?
Gambit: Yes. Jealous?
Quicksilver bolts across the street and skids to a stop just outside of Boomerang's range on the far side of the street.
Elektra looks back at the rest of the crew for a split second.
Elektra: Wait here, I'll be right back.
Elektra reaches into a pouch at the small of her back and pulls out a hand full of shuriken. Silently, she passes Doc Samson and his dorkmobile and she begins to tumble toward the bank. She comes out of the move and slings the weapons at the ninjas hiding in the brush. Massimo swings his katana creating a makeshift shield in front of him as Asano flinches back. The shield holds until Felicia Hardy shouts...
Felicia: Throw again, he's getting tired.
Elektra launches another volley. This time, Massimo's clothing rips as the little stars find their mark. His blade slips from his hand and lands in the brush in front of the bank.
Smiling, she looks around for another target.

"My real name is Kitty. 'Cat' just kind of goes with that, you know?" Kitty rolled her eyes. "Besides, you've got 'cat' tacked onto your super-hero name, too, so is your name Kitty, too?"
"No, it's Felicia."
"Right, 'cause that so-o-o goes with 'cat'."
"No, it goes with my super powers. I can cause people to have bad luck. Like a Black Cat crossing your path, get it?"
"That's so lame. Why not something cooler ... like 'Destiny'? That has to do with luck and fate and all that stuff, right?"
"No, and as a matter of fact 'Destiny' was already taken. I couldn't get the trademark rights to it."
"Who's using the name 'Destiny'? That was something I just totally came up with right off the top of my head. Someone's already using it?"
"Yeah, some old lady, I guess. Besides it's not like it was that original."
"Well, I guess you can always try to get it when she dies. Just keep your eye on the obits."
"No, that's how you get apartments in New York, not super-hero monikers ..."
"So, what's that you're hiding there?"
"The New York Times."
"She dead yet?"
"Nope, not yet."
"Ladies," Colossus finally interjected, "Can we concentrate a little, please? There is a battle going on ... ?"
