here it is my version of the Mighty Thor (before Lord of Asgard).
10 10 8 8 8 7 7 6 6 8
12 11 11 10 10 10 9 9 9 11
17 17 16 16 15 15 15 14 14 14
5 5 4 4 4 3 3 3 3 5
Has a 10 range, 1 bolt(target), and Avengers team skill.
Cost for this monster is 223 points. Let me explain...First of all his cost is through the roof...He's Thor not Spiderman, He's Marvels powerhouse He's going to be more expensive than let's say Hulk for the sheer reason of many more powers(such as RS, CH, BF, RCE) Super Strength- I only gave it to him on his "Warriors Madness" and his last click for one reason "Juicing up"( not an Asgardian term). Seriously it is out of character for Thor to be picking up a dumpster and smashing anyone over the head with it! It's not what a Noble fighter would do! He's not the Thing or Hulk who will do whatever it takes to get the job done! No! He's has a warrior's code of honor that would demand more of him, plus not to mention the fact that he weilds the most powerful weapon(Mjolnir) in probably both Universes(Marvel/DC) hence his higher amount of damage through out his dial! I gave him Battle Fury and Flurry to emulate his "Warriors Madness" which he always goes in when he's in the thick of it! And hence since this is a battle game he should have it...RCE with 5 damage may sound like alot and truly it is but this is to emulate his "godly life force" or "unfettered might" or "anti-force" attacks that have stopped or humbled many a great foe which Thor continually faces(Mangog, Thanos, Celestials, Juggernaut, Surtur...just to name a few). Truly I feel this more accurately depicts the god of thunder! please feel free to "Strike me down" or "praise" me as you see fit...This is for fun after all and is just a Comic/RPG/war game fan's humble point of view!!!
Is Thor in HC a tough fig? Yes. Does he need a "re-do? Probably not! Is it accurate? No. Oh one more note...There's really no way to get an accurate description of his other powers such as Dimensional Travel, Master of the Storm/Weather, Dimensional rifts.. and the like as of yet HC doesn't deal with these powers so I won't even try to dip into that "ranch dressing". I hope you fans out there will give me your opinions...

He´s probably quite accurate to the comicbook but he wouldn´t work as a clix figure (unless they remake Juggy, Thanos, Magneto etc, etc...)!
Nice try though :)

He is WAY WAY WAY underpriced. Compare him to OWAW Superman. Supes is more expensive, yet has less range, less damage, less defense and less attack than your Thor. Running Shot with 10 movement and 5 damage for two clicks? Damage that never dips below a natural 3 at range? Three clicks of 5 damage? This guy would be 250-270 points, easy.

The damage is the biggest one. No other fig in the game is capable of punching through Invulnerability using only their natural damage on every click.

i think its too powerful to base a team around
he is the team
it is very accurate to the comic books
but hc is a game and things haveta be kept real
for balance reasons

quote from Phantom

what about unique hulk? his damage never goes below 3. i'm sure there are more but he's all i can think of. that new thor sounds great, but he probably should be more points. he'd waste owaw supes.

Actually he's not underpriced...The reason ow Supes is so expensive is that waste of a Leadership power through out his whole dial, plus Hypersonic speed and Impervious are also very expensive powers on top of that his movement clicks are high and he has eleven clicks of health! That extra click of health is very expensive! It would actually be a pretty good battle! But I happen to think that Superman was done wrong too!!! The big problem is that as the new expansions are coming out, WK is getting better with the stats but the previous expansions suffer; especially when they probably won't get a re-doo! well just keep commenting..I'm fine with all the critiscism, and thank you for all the compliments!!!
Think of this Thor as "Heroes Reborn" when Romita Jr. took over(by the way before he became Lord of Asgard, He Killed Mangog, Beat Thanos into a pulp, and knocked out Gladiator! "NUFF SAID!!!!)

He did not beat Thanos! Thanos said something like this (not exact words): "The Asgard warrior thinks he beat me he´s quite proud of it you now", it was a clone of him that he beat down!

If you got beat up, would you be willing to admit it to everybody? Thanos has too much ego to do that. He also was on the verge of total universe domination, so if it was a clone, it was as powerful as the original.

What do I know, just reffering to the comics!

I don't think I would start him off with Running Shot. Sure, it makes him a better figure, but Thor always gets right into the fray.

Yeah, he can throw his hammer from miles away and fly around while doing it, but his usual tactic is to Charge in and face his foes head on. I think a Thor that has Charge INSTEAD of Running Shot would be a better representation of the character than one that just has both.

Actually, he often leads into the fight by throwing his hammer. It sort of announces his presence. See the big battle in Secret Wars I with Dr. Doom. He also often calls lightning down on multiple foes or large ones to get the ball rolling. See the battle against Galactus in FF trade Trial of Galactus. These are just examples of often seen occurances in team play. In a 1 on 1 fight he would charge in and fight H2H. Since this is a team game, Running Shot does fit.
