View Full Version : what power would a Clown have?
OK...its late (and ive also been reading IT) and i was just thinking about what generics I would like to be able to put on a team and thought of clowns. One, the're funny and scary at the same time, and wouldnt you like to see a clown on yoru team? Only one problem.....
What power(s) would a clown have? The cheap perplex thing has already been done, and you already have a cheap PC figure. The only other thing i could think of is one click of outwit, or one click of enhancement, or maybe just one click of PC.
Yeah, people will probably post about how silly a clown generic might be, but i was just curious what power you would give them if you were designing one. Thanks :)

How about Plasticity...there has to be a way to get them all in that little car.
perhaps each version could have a different Team ability. Skrull (laughter causes opponent to not be able to target them), SHIELD (+1 damage from thrown pies), etc.
Maybe Incapacitate would be a good power for them (thrown pies, laughter, gut-wrenching fear)

I think most people hate clowns, so how about a team affiliation that makes them the object of attacks. If the clown is in line of site, you must target the clown instead of other figures.
Now, if I had to stick to the already existing powers/team affiliations, despite it being the realm of Con Artists, I'd have to go with Perplex.
Oh, hey, here ya go... Con Artists being Marvel figures, they could release the clowns in DC with the idea that they're Joker's hencemen. You could even give them the anti-Batman team ability and a single initial click of Perplex. Sort of a "Are those clowns actually robbing that bank?" thing.
hahaha...im lovign these ideas
That is a great idea. I also hate clowns. I find them very scary. I also think that they are instigators, meaning that they talk a lot of ####. Since they do that maybe they should have a new power that brings an enemy closer called "taunt" or something.
They blocked out my word.:(
all it was was c-r-a-p

How bout NRG Explosion to represent how the gunk form there pies fly everywhere whenever they're thrown.
Maybe toughness to represent all of their heavy goofy clothes.
I'd say Rookie version has Perplex, Experience has Outwit, Veteran has Enhancement, gives a variety.

Okay, I like the "taunt" special ability alot, Mimic13. Certain versions of Spiderman could also have it as he used to annoy/goad villians as much as he could.
So rookie = perplex, experienced = outwit, and vetran = taunt (or should we replace a different one with taunt)?
