Hey guys!

I'm sure everyone already saw it on the WizKids site, but in their news section today they confirmed that there will be Danger Girl figures!

From the WizKids sight:

"Indy HeroClix News!
It's been several months since I've mentioned the upcoming Indy HeroClix line, mostly because it's been under tight security! I can mention that I was able to see the paint masters recently, and they are absolutely gorgeous. Danger Girl has never looked so beautiful or deadly! The 2000 AD characters also look cool, just like they just jumped off the pages! Even if you've never read an independent comic in your life, this set will have something for you. As the release gets closer, I'll try to sneak out more news!"

Woo Hoo! I just hope they look like the White Queen and not Titania...

They were already confirmed when they first started talking about Indy clix. Thanks though. Hopefully they'll be cool... I'm thinking something like Nick Fury would be neat for Abby... maybe BCF for Natasha... hmmm...

Nothing says "Indy" like a DC character. :disappoin

well, they weren't originally DC, wasn't Cliffhanger! owned by another company first?

All I know is I want more Cliffhanger! figures, specifically The characters from Battle Chasers and some of the characters from Crimson...

I just want them to tell us what's in the set already. I still don't even know if I want to buy Indy clix.

And J Scott Campbell pulled Danger Girl from Cliffhanger after DC published one issue or so, it was done at Image Central until they stopped if I'm not mistaken

Didn't something "Danger Girl" just come out a few weeks ago? That switch from Image to DC was years ago. As far as I know he hasn't really pulled anything. Although it takes him so long to put a book out that I could see why people would think he pulled it from Cliffhanger.:ermm:

Not to beat a dead horse....but.....

I see that DC is offering an oversized hard cover collection of Danger Girl next month. Looks like the only thing being pulled is your leg.

He didn't pull it from DC. It was Joe Mad that pulled Battlechasers from DC then went back to image until he stopped doing the book to concentrate on making video games. Danger girl hasn't released anything "new" in ages, it's been reprints and who knows if Campbell will ever release anything again. He seems to get bored with stuff easily, although I love his artwork I don't get to see much of it. The crimson series is also over, it ended ages ago and nothing new has been released for it forever so I doubt we'll see characters from it but who knows.

Almost forgot, Cliffhanger is owned by Wildstorm. Wildstorm was originally a part of Image until the Wildstorm section got sold to DC. The special thing about Cliffhanger was that the comics weren't owned by a company or anything, all of the comics are owned by the creators and were just published under the company, so they owned all the copyrights and could do whatever they want with the comic including pulling it out and moving to another company.

Well, I'd counter your argument about Crimson and Battle Chasers not likely becoming clix with the simple fact that we're definately getting Danger Girl clix which ended around the same time as the other two did. I hope that Joe Mad. wants to get into the clix scene since he stopped making my favorite comic and then his game business he created went under aswell... I miss the Mad man... *sniff*

I'm also sorry thatDG ended. I mean, Phil Noto is a great artists (Penciler of the latest DG: Hawaiian Punch) but sadly he's no Campbell.

Danger Girl Confirmed?

Well, I got but one thing to say:

YYYYYYYAAAAAAAAHHHHHOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Or in the ever lasting words of John McLane: "Yippie Kay Ey, Mother####er!"

(Hope the swearing doesn't get me in trouble now)

I can honestly say I don't care much for Danger Girl although she is HOT!!! I don't know about Battlechasers its up in the air they could have them but they probably wont. This comic was too good to be true I guess and ended before its time. I hope we don't ever get a Spawn figure unless its DarkAges because McFarlane will have him so powerful he will make Firelord look like a Thug. Oh well its good to have some stealthy hookers and I look forward to playing 30 point hotties on my team aswell as the rest of you peeps. So go DangerGirl.

Well, I venture on saying that They will have Perplex (If you have read any of the DG comics, you'll see what I mean:grin: )
Perhaps Outwitt.
