i'm a die hard hal jordan fan. like so many others. and one of the heroclix i'm hoping will come out is hal. instead of stupid john stewart.(god i hate how t.v influences evrything)
so i was wandering if theres any rumors or confirmation of a unique or unlikly rev hal in cosmic justice. plz oh plz oh plz. they better make him is all i can say.
It's looking like he's probably not in the set this time, but I'll bet that he'll be one of the big figures in the next set.. him and Captian Marvel... I hope.

honestly. this set is cosmic justice. but so far all i hear is batman villians and wonder woman. come on, it doesn't get much more cosmic than good ol hal jordan.

Actually whats the point of Wizkids making a GLC Team and just giving us 1 GL....:cry:
Id like to see Hal, and many other GLs soon, maybe at the next DC Clix set, call it Emerald Dawn or something like that, and give us Guy, Hal, Kyle, Chip, Jack T Chance...

Has it been confirmed that Hal Jordan isn't in this next set? If so please point me there. If it hasn't, lets wait until eaither we get a list posted or the set comes out before we all get teary eyed.
Wizkids WILL make a Hal Jordan, don't you worry.

they better. i mean cosmic justice isn't the worst gl of all time combined with batman villians and wonder woman. cosmic justice sounds like the ideal set for a couple of green lanterns.and if hal shows up as pharalax or spectre than we can just wait for an all out riot.
I really hope they make a GL Hal Jordan. I really don't like the idea of Hal Jordan being the Spectre ... seems real contrived to me. Parralax wound be a fnatastic Unique though.
Cosmic Justice ..remember ...Legion of Superheroes fits right in with this theme as well ....

John Stewart is the worst GL of all time? You have got to be kidding me. John was a great character, as was Hal, and Kyle.
(Sorry, Guy Gardner had zero range as a GL and a character for me. Take Wolverine, give him a power ring, then take away all the likeable aspects to Wolvie's personality, and you got Guy. Not much there to work with.)
Think about it this way. What Wizkids did was smart. Make the one Green Latern that if you complained about, you'd look like a baffoon, as its the only black GL. Who honestly is going to open up that can of worms.
"Man, I hate John Stewart," Comic Guy one.
"You're just saying that since he's black, right?" Comic Guy two.
Plus, he's the current GL in both JLA and the Justice League cartoon. DC has its work cut out getting the average fanboy who thinks all comics are Marvel comics to take a look at this set, so you gotta go with who folks will recognize. John is currently the most high profile GL.
Why do you think Wonder Woman, GL, and rumor has it, J'Ohn J'Onzz is is this set? Finish off the main characters from the Cartoon Network show, that's why.
Besides, if you do Hal, you got to eventually address the whole Parallax/Spectre thing too. Considering many look at that to be DC's "Spider Clone level" of mistake, I'd avoid that one like the plague.
Just a few thoughts.

the problem with paralax and spectre is the same problem with silver surfer. there both 2 powerful. spectre is a avenger of god and will kill anyone who psses off god, basickly and paralax.........well hes the entire power of the guardians on acount of hal going crazy and stealing it which was all bull by the way.
and whats wrong with martian manhunter. that ****ing cartoon has nothing to do with a j'ohn figure. hes always been with the justice league in some way or another. soi its only prudent you make one of the coolest charactors. and liking john stewart jus because hes black is also a form of rasism. and john is not great but thats a completly different issue i don't feel like arguing about for the 1000000000 time. bottom line is hal better come out in the third set or there will be a avenging angel of god stalking wizkids.

Hmm. Sure Silver surfer is powerful, but is he anymore powerful than say ... Thanos??
I don't think we'll see Parallax or Spectre either .. but you never do know.

I personally like the cartoon. If you gave it a chance you'd see that the "cartoon" John Stewart has a personality ("no-nonsense) and is a great foil for the flash. I don't recall particularly likeing Stewart in the comics ..mainly because he replaced Hal.

some of the episodes arn't bad mainly the ones with out john stewart. and since when has superman been such a wuse. and flash has a girlfriend doesn't he. last time i checked j'ohn had a personality and emotions. that cartoon discriminates martians.

I can't belive you guys are complaining. I for one am a big fan of the Corp, but I'm glad there only making one GL in this set, for the following reasons:
10) Who would play John Stewart if he wasn't the only GL?
9) GLs will probably be heavy in the next DC set (which should come out after Indy Clix, who will also introduce new powers) That would mean that there would be a better arraw of powers to represent the GLs true power.
8) Who would play John Stewart if he wasn't the only GL?
7) If they save the GLs for their own set, we have a better chance of getting some cool villians (ie Parralex, Dr. Polaris, Starsafire)
6) Who would play John Stewart if he wasn't the only GL?
5) The sculpts would be much better since each set raises the bar for detail.
4) Who would play John Stewart if he wasn't the only GL?
3) It would also be cool if our faves only came out as oversized.

Now don't get me wrong about John Stewart, it's not that he's Black, it's that he's lame. Whenever they give us a token brother he ends up being a wussier version of the hero he aspires to be. Which is very wrong, why can't we get more heros like Black Lightning or Bishop?

Ouch. That's a tad harsh. I love the Justice League cartoon. Sure, like all the cartoons done, they are not the same as their respective comics (yes, even the critically acclaimed Batman TAS is not true to pure canon.) Cartoons are yet another interpretation of comic characters, much like the movie versions of superheroes. Yes, Flash has a girlfriend in the comics, but he doesn't need one in the show. Currently in Justice League America, Batman and Wonder Woman are dating. The Batman they've established over ten years (God I feel old.) in the various versions of the cartoon may date from time to time, but usually it doesn't last long. Doing some different things in the cartoon from the comic makes it fresh. If the cartoon followed the comic precisely, we'd be bored after a bit of time.
Even X-men, X2 and Spiderman took and changed a few things, to make the story flow, or details were not needed to tell a good story. Sabretooth was just a villian mutant in the films, Logan didn't know him, didn't work with him on the Weapon X project, zip. There wasn't a need to go into that detail, and X-men still rocked. But, I was just pointing out that you'd want to do characters that folks see currently. If you look, both Marvel and DC have done a lot of 80's versions of their characters or teams. (Your average heroclix player probably went "When was She Hulk and Madusa a member of the Fantastic Four???" Those stories were done 15-20 years ago.) Eventually, though, they need to do some modern heroes. This way, with John, you get both the past and the present GL. (If that makes any sense.)
And I totally agree that Martain Manhunter is almost a requirement. J'Ohn has been a JL member since the beginning of the League. I was just pointing out that the further away you get from the original set, the more recognizable characters Wizkids will need to do to keep folks interested. Stewart, in my opinion, is a safe way to go. And for the record, I don't like John since he's black, I like John since he is such a human character. When they gave John the ring, way back in the 70s(early 80s?) it was taking a chance. But the GL books were always taking chances, especially GL/GA(Green Arrow) I like that they didn't a character that isn't the first one we thought of too. Now, we can wait for future sets to see either Kyle or Hal, or if we're creative, make our own figures and play them using the GL base.
Just my ramblings on this topic.

Wizkids would give Hal the Sinestro treatment, and make a Hal in/with construct big fig so he is on equal terms with Sinestro

I have absolutely no problem with John being in the set as a GL, I am a big fan of John. I would even welcome Alan Scott. I of course want a Hal Jordan, and I don't mean no STINKING Parralaxitive or the (always being canceled) Spectre (grim agent of God Hal, whatever). but I never want to see Kyle ever, someone complained about Guy Gardner being uninteresting, he's positively vibrant compared to that two dimensional hack. after 6 years all we know for sure about Kyle is he's an artist, he has a ring, and he's always losing it. Now that is an interesting character. I know we will get Kyle well before we ever get a Hal, unless it's those wonderful evil or dead versions of him, but I don't have to like it.

Nightwing,I couldnt agree with you more.I don't care if John stewart is black,he sucks.I do like the cartoon fairly well and in the cartoon and the comics he's pretty much the same,dull,lifeless,over rated,annoying,and about as charasmatic as kilowogs corpse(RIP kilowog)There are plenty of black super heroes that I like John stewart just isn't one of them

You could elect him president, and he still isn't a patch on Alan Scott or Hal Jordan. We don't want the back-up, we want the starters. Nobody went to Dolphin games to see Elway's or Marino's back-up. You take them if you must, but you want the starters. I agree that this is the only way to get folk to play with Stewart as a clix. As soon as a real GL shows up, Stewart starts collecting dust all over the world.
Not nessesarly. With all the die hard "I'm only going to play things that i like in the comics" guyd your right, but considering that John Stewert is the lesser of all the GLs(ecept maybe G'Nort, at least power wise) he will probably also be the cheapest. Therefore he will still probably see play from the guys that play with 5 firelords.

I personally would rather have G'nort! At least he is a little interesting, and not just the politically corect version. Why couldn't they give us the cool black heros like Black Lighting or Amazing Man.
