Tell me what you think of my site. I have made several customs and would like to see what others think of my site.

Let me first say....WOW....just wow. You are clearly hella creative. I'd say most creative conversion would have to go to your scorpion made from a spidey. That impressed the hell out of me, and just looks about a billion times better, and more dynamic, then the actual wizkids one.

My only suggestion would be to thin your paints out, and spend a little more time on the paint jobs. Go for a few more thin coats of paint rather then fewer thicker coats. I think you'll find you get a better more even coverage on the figures, which should improve the overall final product.

Keep it up, you've clearly put a lot of time and effort into these things. Hope to see more soon.

I will be adding some more characters real soon.
DC Shade, Hal Jordan, Alan Scott
Marvel Forearm,Magik

I am trying to think of some more. I want to complete the JSA so that I can have a complete set.

I have to say one thing bad about my customs, eversince I put them on this site the images are so large that I can see all the detail that I can not see to the naked eye unless I squint. So when I paint them or modify others I am so impressed then when I post them I get depressed on all the flaws. Also I can never get proper tools, all the stores around me dont have the items I need in stock it really sucks. The paint I have to order from the web and I can never find a premo brush set that lasts more than five stokes.

Hey I do have a problem that some of you can help me with. I have several characters without stats and I need some suggestions on how to deal with them. I don't like to use other characters stats but I do modify off of them. So if you have any suggestions for the ones listed below by all means Speak Out.

Marvel:
Alpha Flight: ALL
Avengers: Crystal,Wonderman, WarMachine, Falcon
Thunderbolts: All
New Warriors: All
Brotherhood: Mesmero, Marrow
X-Men: Blink, TJ, Mimic, Mutiple man, Jubilee
Misc: Bulldozer, BetaRayBill
DC:
Supermen: Eradicator
GreenLantern: Kyle,Hal,Alan
IL/AntiSupes: Lex (Which team also), Metallo
JSA: DrFate,Wildcat,Mesmero
AntiBats: KillerCroc, Scarecrow
Flash: BlackFlash

Any help would be greatful because I tend to be over zealous with the points and stats, creating a god like thug.

One more thing I am thinking of an avatar image and I want to use of my customs but I don't know who.
So could someone post a poll as to who I should use. I have no idea how even if you can on this site.

Two things you absolutely need to do:

1 - Find a *good* arts supply store near by and buy your brushes there. You may think them pricey, but the quality is worth it. Get brushes in several sizes -- by the looks of things, you're lacking "detail" brushes (the real tiny kind - size 3/0 or smaller [size varies depending on manufacturer]) Get brushes designed for acrylic paints -- if your store can't tell you what brushes to use with which paints, shop elsewhere!

2 - Most acrylic yellow paints do not cover anything that isn't yellow or white. For anything you want to paint yellow, base it in white first (let it dry!) and then cover it with yellow. Most reds and some greens act the same.

And take your time -- some of your paint jobs look rushed.

Oh, if you're having trouble seeing the details unless you squint, you might want to invest in a good magnifying lens. Even better if you can make it hand's free. (I heard jewler's goggles work great, but it may be price prohibitive...)

Your website is awesome! Your doing great on your mods but the advice from the previous replies would help you a lot. You have definitely come up with some great imagination. Keep up the good work!

I get my paints and brushes from Wal Mart. Cheap and real good. The paints are Apple Barrel. They are like .40 or so. The brushes are good, and only about a buck fifty.

But I think they look great, as does your site!!

I have found that warhammer(games workshop) paint to be the best because of their wide variety of colors and funny names all the worth while. They are just a bit pricey on the brushes charging $5 per brush. I have plenty of detail brushes its just they dont last long, they lose bristles very easyily and this paint if left out can be very thick so I just need to order new paint to replace the thick paint I have so the brushes wont be destroyed.

I am fine on supplies It's just I like to complain.

eww dont use warhammer brushez they are not put together well if you go to a hobby store like michels err spelling and spend five bucks on one there they will last longer than the warhammer ones also about the paint geting think keep them closed and if they are the new screw on tops then yea its hard to keep them from geting thick but if you see that they are geting thick just add a lil water to it i have found that it helps because thats what i use i mostly have the old press on tops whitch keep the paint nice and fresh but the new screw on ones just dont seem to keep it fresh and they tend to dry up after time any ways hope that helps l8rz
