Just to let you guys know that I heard some rumors that this new Hulk from the PSM (July issue) will be a real treat for Hulk fans. This piece is based on the movie. I've heard that he'll have 3 clicks of 5 damage!!! Anyone else heard what's up???

Hmmm, I get your reference, but I don't know why it's funny. There was an actual "Elektra: Assasin" to expalin her clix. It wasn't a case of "the designers thinking it would just look nice" as you stated.
Maybe it just wasn't meant for me.

Nah, already got one, and an awesome one at that. Mine is the type that requires the joke to be funny and make sense though. I've had mine for well over 20 years, but I'm sure they're still available, but I know they don't make them like they used to nowadays.

Yes, Elektra in "Assassin" was badness.
But NOT 160 pts worth of badness.
She did NOT become "Elektra, Herald of Galactus" all of a sudden, after all.

Well, I don't know the algorithm they use to decide point values, so I can't say if the 160 points was accurate. Her powers were appropriate, though.
Still, I'm looking forward to the PSM Hulk. They need to start putting more than one superpower on a certain attribute, at one time, when it's called for. Hulk should really have both invulnerability and willpower.

he probably should... but he's not gonna
he would have to do 8 (or 6 with CCE) cause the new superman does 7 (5 with CCE)
I'm pretty sure they aren't gonna have him do 8 clicks. That would be just crossing the line (not that they haven't already with superman)

The new Hulk is in a jumping position like he is in the preview pic. Both of his arms are back as if he's about to do that d@mn 50 mile jump mess.

No guys, I have inside sources that tell me they are going to give him ten (yes ten!) damage, with CCE!!! OMG, he is going to mack. He also has a 20 defence, and tehy are introducing Impervious into Marvel with him. Here's his stats
Sp: 9-10-11-12-12-12-12-12-11-10-9
At: 9-10-11-12-13-13-14-13-12-11-9
De: 16-18-19-19-20-20-20-20-19-18-16
Da: 3-4-5-6-7-7-8-9-10-9-3
Here's hi spowers. Leap climb for first four clicks, ten charge for 5 clicks, and leap climb for last two. Superstrength through out his entire dial. Toughness for two clicks, invulnerability for four, impervious until his second to last click, then one click of regen. damage he has perplex for six clicks, CCE for three and then nothing for teh last two. And he's around 100 points, so you can field him in any tourny size! Sweet eh? My guess is it's to shut up all the firelord whiners, but who knows, but I'm definitly buying ten of em! And I saw all these stats with my own eyes, so I can vouch for its "truthness".

I want a flying Boomerang and controller, cause they had Jet boots for a LOT longer than Elektra had her own series...
I want Hulk that can fly cause he did in his 3rd appearance.
I want a Black cat that can nearly Kill Sabretooth cause she did once.
It was a joke. Don't take it too seriously, that can lead to health problems.

The issue with Elektra is that that is how she is represented in the book that the figure is based on. The bigger issue is that this is the 4th version of Elektra that we're talking about. If this would have been her 1st one I could understand people taking issue with the character type of choice. But it's not.
If your issue is "Elektra steps off the pages of Daredevil and onto the pages of her own comic and becomes 130 points better???", then you should head on back to 1986 and have a talk with Frank Miller with why he did so. Wizkids didn't create the book, they only provided the translation of the character into clix form. My point is only that the reference that was being made didn't make any sense because the items could not be drawn back to Hulk that I could see, where as with Elektra it could. But again, as I stated, maybe it wasn't meant for me.
As for the Hulk with flight, I'm all for it! We're on the 4th version of him now as well. He gets mad, strong, and beats things up. I get it already. I'm all for mixing it up with goofy references.

I think that there should be an Onslaught figure made because he was a sweet character. I think he should be up there with strong and powerful. And what about that character in the X-Men that took away mutation and nearly killed Wolverine and Cable? He may of been captured by Sinister but nobodys perfect, right? Even Superman has been defeated. There are infinite possibilities. Just think how sweet would it be if Wizkids made a Galactus figure? That would be cool.

Im a big elektra fan myself. I know that the elektra:assassin figure was right on the money.
I am still going to make jokes about there being too many elektras. The most recent one, the 8 foot tall ranged hand ninja LE with no boobies, was rather laughable.
Thats why I say that this new figure coming out in PSM, the large 1/2 naked green one with huge muscles, is actually PMS elektra.

I was talking w/ my bro about what can be done w/ Hulk to differentiate him from others - How about Flurry on his toughest click? Superstrength + Flurry + 5 clicks of damage = Instant KO of any standard fig!

I too was talking about Hulk posibilities with some friends and we thought a Hulk team ability would really open a lot of posibilities..
Imagine a Hulk team, the ability would be leap/climb
This would open up the movement slots for flury or charge :laugh:

Yeah- I thought Flurry would be sweet. Hulk is so huge, by being adjacent to him you are just asking for damage! And although this click of Flurry would have HUGE damage potential, it would be fairly deep in his dail, so it's not like you definately are going to get to that click, ya know?

1 - any character is gonna be more powerful in their own title than in others.

I've got a hulk annual where he outsmarts 6 alien monsters and spends a lot of time digging underground using his strength... How about Hulk with Outwit and Phasing.

Giving Hulk one or two clicks of Flurry would be cool. He's often seen doing a double fisted strike or hitting/grabbing two people at once so it could definitely be justified. I've also thought about some sort of Hulk team ability that would grant Leap/Climb so that Hulk could have Charge. There has also been talk of giving him Pulse Wave in one form or another because of his sonic boom causing hand claps but I'm not sure that would translate well into HeroClix. He would need to have a range value, which just wouldn't fit with his high damage value plus Pulse Wave is reduced to one damage ... Hulk never just does one damage.
I would like to see Hulk with 2 Clicks of Flurry with 5 damage, an AV of 12 and a shield of 18 with invulnerablity. Heck, look at Sups son of Darkseid with his 7 damage. Hulk no fear puny man in blue pajamas! Hulk smash!
On a side note, Hulk did fight on the side with Spidey a few times, so why not give him the Spider-man team ability. Oh what fun we're having now:)

I think that Hulk's Thunder Clap could be represented with 8 lightning bolts with a range of 0. If enough people were to close in on him, he could slap them all, granted that it be for only 1 click each.

Being that I have never in my life bought a video game magazine, when I went into EB yesterday to see if the issue was out I was a bit overwhelmed.
There's like 37 magazines for Playstation alone.
So, is the magazine with the Hulk offer called "PSM" "Play Station Magazine" and PSM is an abreviation, or is it some other title?
Is there an issue number for it? Or is the offer clearly stated on the cover.
I don't want to miss out on this offer, so please somebody tell me!!

I haven't read the rest of this form but the mag is out. I have the mail away offer right here in my hands. I have to say though im disapointed with the add, it doesn't say anything about pt cost or stats. The good news is you can order two for $10 and that includes shipping.

It's issue 73. It has a little red octogon on the cover advertising the Hulk offer. The magazine is called PSM, is yellow, and has a CG female Car racer on the cover. It also costs too much, seeing as I how I have no use for the magazine itself, and will end up having paid about $9 each for the two figs.
