So when boneyard started the DC Rumored characters in December we should of just ignored it?

Power Pack, all crammed on one base would work for me. Make it a R/E/V and you get to repaint everyone's costumes as time goes by on their levels!!
Once they release CJ won't they immediately give some info about the next expansion. It seems like they did that for X-plosion and CJ.
umm... I'd kinda like to see Power Pack make the next set... uhh.. for mods.. yeah, that's it.
But seriously... I liked the book when I was younger and they'd probably be some decent pieces on the board... I say go for it!

Cloak and Dagger
Cosmic Powers Spiderman
Ghost Rider
In addition to that I would think you would see a Hulk heavy line-up, including Wendigo, a unique Wolverine (since he appeared in the Hulk comic) and maybe Modok. The generic figs will probably be Hulk-busters. I don't think Doc Sampson would make another appearance, but I didn't expect to see Elektra again either.

MODOK! Yes! That dude's designed ONLY for killing!
You all should seriously read The Journal of MODOK Studies.
Seriously. It's like, two bucks an issue.

Thanks for keeping up the goodwork boneyard!

We're still deep into Cosmic Justice, but we're almost there.
As for Indyclix, aside from Hellboy (and whatever related characters who might make it in) nothing else in Indyclix that I've seen mentioned so far is of interest. Some vague sentimental attachment to Judge Dredd is about as close as it gets. Kabuki? Shi? Fathom? Flippin' Danger Girl?
While I won't swear to it, my first impulse is that I won't end up buying even a booster. Howeverm I'll probably break down and buy a couple in some moment of weakness, hoping to get Hellboy either directly or by trading one of the other pieces I happen to pull.
My expectation is that there'll be two levels of fast and furious trades going on, as fans of subsets of this "set" will trade for their favorite characters, while the straight gamers will be zeroing in on the figs with the killer stats. The latter item's not as likely to be as much an issue, though, as with each Marvel and DC set that comes out it becomes a little less likely that new clix will have significantly unique dials and point costs that they'll stand out as Must Have pieces. (i.e. Game-centered collectors will probably already be able to find comparable DC and/or Marvel pieces for anything we'll find in Indyclix; pieces that they won't have to get special permission to mix into their teams when playing at venues.)
As has been the case since they announced this formally last August, it baffles me how they're going to market this effectively. I suppose they're satisfied there's enough crossover within the market to allow them to do it, but I find it difficult to believe there's going to be anything like the draw a Marvel or DC set warrants. Are there really many people who are planning on buying entire cases of these?
So, anyway, yeah, I'm all for looking ahead to next November's Marvel release.
Hold on, Hold on.
Marvel has an expansion due on November or they say something about it in november?
If it comes out, then With CJ, Indy and that wave, I would be broke!
Personally, I looking forward to a Ghost Rider. I hope they do one, so I can finally use a New Fantastic Four team. They don't have to be FF team members, just the 4 from when the original FF got knocked out of commission and four other heroes took their place. Ghost Rider, Wolverine, Hulk and Spiderman. I've been wanting to do that one since Clix came out.

actually i plan on buying a case of Indy, as does a friend of mine.
but for the next Marvel, if their isn't one of the following:Venom, Carnage, Ghost Rider or Punisher, i'll stop collecting Clix. Or DC and the YJ kids (Slobo, Impulse, Superboy Wonder Girl, Arrowette, Secret) I quit!!! End of rant ;)

Hey ontapmedia - some interesting ideas there.
Consider the timeframe of November ... Hulk, XMen2, and DD will all be cinematic history. What's coming up in Marvel for the silver screen after these? Spidey2, Namor, Punisher, X3, & maybe an FF flick, all in the distance a little bit. So we're stuck with the comics. What package does Marvel have to push on us: Marvel Knights and Ultimates.
Ehh. A little dull maybe.
What I'd like to see is WK and Marvel build up the base of character choices:
Thug-level Brood
Thug-level Lava Men
Thug-level Mindless Ones (Dormammu's boys!)
More team-oriented releases:
Marvel Knights: Cloak & Dagger, DD, Punisher, Black Widow, Moon Knight, Power Man & IronFist, Ghost Rider - be neat to have mounted figures
Spidey/DD Foes: Rhino (gonna be a great sculpt!), Electro, Kraven, Venom, Morbius, Carnage, Mysterio, Lizard, Stilt-man, Owl, Beetle
Masters of Evil/Thunderbolts: Zemo, Moonstone, Absorbing Man, Grey Gargoyle, the other PowerMan, Cobra (need him to go with Hyde!),
Alpha Flight: Puck, Northstar, Sasquatch, Guardian, Vindicator, Aurora, Box
MORE Villains: Mole Man, Attuma, Dormammu, Mangog, Fin Fang Foom, the Destroyer

Doomstriker ...
Why do want so many re-issued figures when you have 4 juggernauts to choose from, 9 Wolverines, and 8 Hulks. I want more new characters we havent seen. I know were going to get certain figures but with the exception of a Juggernaut who has X-men Team Ability I cant really see why they'd re-issue him.
But Quicksilver could be re-issued because he never got the HSS power. Although Northastar might be considered a compromise.

I agree I think Namor would be better then Shantra, I could see any one of the generic thug forces you mention replace the Enforcers, Although I think we will see at least 2 expansions in the next year. An Avengers and a Spiderman set.

I think heroes for hire, should get Defenders the same way freedom force gets Brotherhood. The same way other X-teams get X-men, the same way Sinister six and Synister Sindicate share a Team ability.
I think Alpha Flight should be reflected as X-team.
New Warriors should get Spiderman Allies. They were branded with his imprint the same way Birds of Prey gets the Batman logo. Scarlet Spider even joined the team briefly.
Thunderbolts should get Avengers in thier E versions to reflect they went good or at least Spidey wildcard. Just like Clint Barton / Hawkeye LE did to reflect the switch.
I also think the Hellfire Club should get Brotherhood. they are after all evil mutants. Magneto was even the White King for some time.
Franklin Richards ... (No!!!)
PowerPack on one base (negative)
Not another Elektra. She has more figures then anyone in the game. LE's Uniques and 2 sets of R/E/V's
Dont mean to sound so negative. I actually liked this list but you are at least 2 REV figures over and missed listing a lot of figures people really want. - Terrence
ontapmedia
That is exactly what I was thinking they should do for other team affliations. I doubt they will make the hellfire club though due to white queen.
Shadow97

i'd like to see the
morlocks team ability should be interesting
starjammers
alpha flight with own team ability
hellfire club
excaliber and a new nightcrawler rev on a flight stand
llandra's team the shi'ar
drgnoftyr
05/30/2003, 09:50
x force and x men and probally x facter and new mutants already share ability's
so alpha flight and excaliber should have their own team
ontapmedia
05/30/2003, 10:15
there will be no more team abilities added. People have enough problems using the ones out there.
Excalibur and alpha flight would get X-men team ability if anything at all.
...still want Longshot...
Oh, and Cloak, Dagger, Dazzler, Wendigo, Sebastian Shaw, a REAL Magneto, a Dark Phoenix BIG figure, and I'd be about happy.

I think Power Pack would be great...
...as nothing would give me more joy than having Annihilus and Super-Skrull eradicate those prepubescent cretins.
I'd save them for last, like an after-dinner cappuccino. Toy with them, corner them, give them false hope... then open up a can on 'em.
Delicious.

Team Abilities
X-men: X-men, Xtreme X-men, Uncanny X-men, New Mutants, X-Force, X-Factor, Morlocks, X-Statics, Alpha Flight, Generation X, Excalibur and (Fallen Angels, Perhaps Hellions)
Avengers: Avengers, West Coast Avengers, Iron Works, Great Lakes Avengers, Honorary and Reservist Avengers
Defenders: Defenders, Secret Defenders, Heroes for Hire, members of the team Marvel Knights, Los Angeles Champions,
Fantastic Four: Fantastic Four, Inhumans and I would put Power Pack here being that the same dynamic of family belongs on each of these teams and a sense of repurpose would happen when a member falls.
Shield: Shield plain and simple but it would also extend back to WWII Sgt Nick Fury and his howling commandoes
Hydra: Hydra, Hand, AIM Maggia, I would have probably thrown Silver Samurai and Mandarin and an LE Psylocke with improved attacking on this TA.
Master of Evil: Master of Evil and I might include the Frightful Four. Enemies of the Fantastic Four the same way the Masters were enemies of the Avengers. (people will probablly argue this one.)
Minions of Doom: True Minions of doom and any freelance bad guys who are always reflected as freelancers or bad guys who have a history of flipping sides often.
Freelancers meaning Mercenaries and Assasins (ie. Taskmaster, Deadpool/Agent X, etc.) Flippers: (Spiral etc.)
Spiderman Team: Same thing as Minions of Doom but with a different philosiphy. True Spiderman Allies, Loners who often team up with other to lend support, (Cloak and Dagger, Heroes for Hire, Daredevil, Balck Cat, White Tiger, Silver Sable, Prowler, Rocket Racer, Solo, Paladin etc.) Flippers: Hawkeye was reflected this way in his LE to show his turn on the Thunderbolts at least in my opinion. Yellowjacket got it to show her switch from the Evil Masters of Evil to the Good Guardians of the Galaxy. .... I think others who show this are (Sandman, The Thunderbolts but they might be considered Avengers so it could go either way. Exiles?? )
DC
Justice League: JLA, JLE, JL International, JL Task Force
Titans: Titans, Young Justice, Outsiders(They could get Batman but does that team really need more members??)
JSA: JSA, All Star Squadron, Infinity Inc.
Superman Team: Superboy, Steel, Supergirl, Newsboy Legion, Thorn, Gangbuster, Eradicator, Krypto, I might have even given a Rookie Booster Gold this ability. He was a heavy influence on BG early on and was in Metropolis.
Batman Team: Batman allies, Maybe the Outsiders, Birds of Prey.
Legion of Superheroes:
All incarnations of the Legion.
Batman Enemies: Pretty Straight Forward but I mind add The Flashes Rogues Gallery either here or on Superman Enemies
Superman Enemies: See Batman Enemies Above.
Injustice League: Pretty Straight Forward. I'd also include the Crime Syndicate and perhaps the Royal Flush Gang.
GL: It's what it is and doesn't need any added groups beyond the corps. So no I would not give the GL TA to the Manhunters or the Darkstars.
Police: I might have given the Easy co. guys this one. I would have also thrown in Blackhawks, Ghost Tank and really any historic contigent of the DC universe.
Well that's just my take on it . - Terrence.
Yes - I've been waiting for Rhino and Venom - and PLEASE don't make them uniques.
I'd also like to see:
Speed Demon (someone to use Hypersonic Speed)
Baron Zemo (Come on! His face is the team icon for MoE!)
The rest of the Thunderbolts
Vermin
Wrecking Crew
More MoE (Tiger Shark, Absorbing Man, etc)
boneyard
05/30/2003, 19:34
Injustice League: Pretty Straight Forward. I'd also include the Crime Syndicate and perhaps the Royal Flush Gang.
Injustice League covers Injustice Society, Injustice Gang, Secret Society of Supervillians, Injustice Gang of the World. I'm sure if any Royal Flush or Crime Syndicate characters ever show up, they'll land here too. This might also act as a catch-all for Flash's Rogues gallery...

I think the real problem peeople have is the team abilities being used AGAINST (not really by) them . . :p
Why bring in obscure characters when there are so many more mainstream teams they haven't touched? I'd much rather see the following:
Thunderbolts
Alpha Flight
New Warriors
Eternals
Inhumans
And let's not forget the bad guys 'n gals:
Hellfire Club
Serpent Society
Wrecking Crew
I just think that they can do sooo much better than Power Pack.
ontapmedia
06/01/2003, 15:23
Does anybody really care about the Eternals??? I mean that's pretty obscure.
Why dont we give the New Gods thier own Team ability ??? (sarcastic)
I mean the Wrecking Crew was all apart of the MoE. so I'd put them to that Team Ability.
I still think despite White Queen the Hellfire Club would be best represented as Brotherhood
Alpha Flight as X-men
Thunderbolts as either Spiderman(wildcard) or Avengers
Inhumans as Fantstic Four
New Warriors as Spiderman team
Serpent as either (syndicate or MoE)
The Eternals are kind of obscure and are from the distant past of Marvel, I mean this goes back to the origin of the universe.
kang4001
06/01/2003, 15:32
I want Mole Man, Mole people, and even some Lava Men. It doesn't stop there, though I think I will.
I personally don't care about the Eternals, I was just making a point that there are a lot of teams out there that I would consider more popular than Power Pack (unless there are some Power Pack groupies out there that I am unaware of).
I really want to see the Thunderbolts and while I think the wildcard ability of the Spider-Man team would suit them better, I'm guessing that WizKids would give them the Masters of Evil team ability.
ontapmedia
06/01/2003, 16:22
Like I stated earlier the LE Hawkeye was the Thunderbolts version as far as I can tell. So I see no reason why they would not get the same. Beside them being thunderbolt... "good guys" .... would be a big seperation and a wildcard in my opinion.

Hey Boneyard,
I think they may retire elektra at this point. I mean look at the fact that I would have to say she probably has more figures then anyone in the game.
Infinity Challenge R/E/V + Unique Black Costume
Clobbering Time R/E/V + LE Elektra Natchios
Explosion Unique Assasin Elektra
That's 9 for a character that hasn't really evolved or even changed thier costume much. The only outfit left I can think of is a White version.
Wolverine has I think 10 figs but at least he appears every month in multiple titles and has done so for more then 20 years.
IC R/E/V + Unique Ninja + Mail Away Berzerker
CT R/E/V Logan + LE Logan
XP Unique Weapon X
They can mill Spidey and even the Hulk for years.
Cosmic Spidey, Web Swinging Spidey (Flier), Scarlet Spider, Dusk, Richochet, Buzz and Prodigy Spidermen, Armored Spidey and of course Peter Parker
The Hulk: Grey Hulk as in his original dumb form, Smart Hulk, Savage Banner, The current Banner with Hulk powers and control of his transformation. Ultimate Hulk, Jumping (Flying) Hulk
Hulk and Spidey make sense they are the flagship characters.
But I think they should rotate the variants ... I mean no one cares about another elektra but what about variants that make sense?
Ironman: Think of all the suits
Archangel: to an Angel R/E/V we need both
AoA Magneto: to the Magneto R/E/V
Ultimates Captain America cause we need a good Cap
I'd also like to see some pre-constructed sets made for individual scenarios like Mage Knight does. That way you can get a Colossus with Brotherhood or a Scorpion with Syndicate
Maybe 2 kits like this per set 5 figures each. With at least 2 new figures each.
Spiderman Themed: XP Scorpion(Syn), Electro(Syn), Kraven(Syn), XP Daredevil with Spiderman TA and Punisher (Spidey TA)
X-men Themed: XP Colossus (Brotherhood) Senyaka (Brotherhood) Fabian Cortez (MoD) Havok (Xmen) and Wolverine (feral version as mutated by Apocalypse)
I know I'm dreaming. - Terrence

ontapmedia
06/02/2003, 18:09
just go to the news section it should be listed there. I have a different take then most though as I was pretty sure he said he would not make Power Pack.
It really may not matter considering he claimed quite a few things in the interview that would seem to have changed since then like the very pricey GL Team ability now available on a rookie for under 90 points. Heh.
Now we'll probabably have lots of teams that have a
V Livewire
V Nightwing
R GreenLantern
R Steel
V Checkmate Medic
V Easy Co. Soldier
V Green Arrow
etc.
GL can pick up the team fly them out have V-Nightwing and R-Steel, V Livewire and/or V Green Arrow attack They can all attack creating a helluva a hurting. throw a cheap JLA in there so that Live wire can do the carry out using both free move and GL team carry ....green lantern can do the carry back.
It's gonna be dangerous out there. Dangerous but were all on a level playing field so it isn't broken. - Terrence

Just a question & a possibility.
Will the water movement get explored? I mean Atlantis invading seems pretty interesting. Atlanteans would have unhindered movement in watery areas while only fliers could match that.
There is talk of a Namor movie coming. What about an Atlantean Warrior & Atlantean Scout coupled with Namor?
Hatut Zeraze
06/04/2003, 15:11
Namor would be a hallmark character of any set in which he is included. Said set would certainly have at least one Namor enemy, probably Attuma. Attuma, being a military general, would have to have the Mastermind ability. Mastermind is just not of good use without appropriate thugs. Ergo, your Atlantean generics seem like a very likely possibility.
Also, don't be surprised to see one or two other Namor enemies, like Tiger Shark and Plant Man.
I'd like to see the water movement added, also. Besides the ones mentioned, I'd like to see Orca, Namorita, Marinna, and Stingray as well.

ohh ghost rider, johnny blaze, and cloak and dagger would rock. On a side note I personally want a namor and squadron supreme.
To be REALLY happy, I'd need:
All of the Thunderbolts
Venom
Rhino
Basil Elks
06/04/2003, 16:29
CARNAGE!!!!
Basil Elks
06/04/2003, 17:36
As noted above Carnage, he should be a unique, & should be an AE with an REV Venom.
other figures in the set could be:
Spider-Man Unlimited Cartoon Spidey
Smart Hulk
White suit Elektra
Patch Wolverine
RCCL about Carnage - but Power Pack, either individualy or with all 4 on 1 base, would be really exellent.
In fact, if we had all 4 of Power Pack on one base, we could also have the X babies (Li'l Wolvey and co), all on one base...
LoL
All the Best

MUST......HAVE.......COSMIC......SPIDEY

Yeah, the reavers would be pretty cool, espacially that guy with tank treads. I always love a character with a tank chassis instead of legs! Cosmic Spider-Man would also be fun, and might even happen.
Hey Boneyard,
I have one for your rumored list. There has been at least one probability controller in each set, and the only major one that I could think of that hasn't been done yet is Longshot. Just a guess.
I would like to see the Cobra.. I mean you have his old partner Mr. Hyde done....Why not Cobra?

It would be quite interesting to see the first three-way Arch-Enemy triad: Spider-Man, Carnage, and Venom surely would be completely at odds with each other all around. Then there was that time with the multiple alien symbiote offspring...
Cosmic Spider-Man is another must-have, probably to go in the same set as Silver Surfer and Adam Warlock, who would all be at much higher point costs than most of your current characters. I could also see Nova and perhaps even a 'fixed' Firelord appearing, with the Galactus megafig accompanying the release. Perhaps we'll see a Dr. Strange variant and some of his regular opponents too, in this potential cosmic-themed set.
Then at some point we've got to have the Iron Man themed set, maybe with a bunch of stuff from the Armor Wars series', all Shellhead's old enemies, a Mandarin variant, maybe the red and silver armored Iron Man in an REV, the old school gun-metal grey and gold clanky-robot armors as a single REV series (with Avengers team ability coming with the gold armor, natch), War Machine, Jim Rhodes... heck, you could fill out a fourth or a third of a set easily with Iron Man variants alone, although they probably won't. But he should have something akin to Doombots to represent all the times he used remote controlled or automated armor.
And then there's Fin Fang Foom. I'm really looking forward to that as a fig. Yow. Zah.
Man, it's fun to dream. :cheeky:
I LIKE THE POWERPACK!!!
boy would it be cool if they could swap thier powers around with the REV versions.

I doubt very much that there will be a Namor themed set or movie, because Namor is lame. Nobody likes fish powers, they are never cool. Namor hasn't been a popular character since WW2, since then he's been one failed series of comics after another. Don't get me wrong, we'll get a figure of him, but expect no expansions into related characters besides maybe one villain, probably Attuma.
They need a Spidey set and a Defenders/Avengers filler set. The spideyset will have everything us spiderfans long for, and the Defenders will give us Namor and the Surfer and the Avengers/MOE we need.

Werle? Did you really state ..... "Nobody likes Fish Powers"???
What is a Fish Power?? Personally I think it's funny that we have the dolphin icon on the movement dials similar to the wing and foot.
Did you mean swimming. I love swimming. Anyway ... I dont see whay there could not be more "Fish Powered Characters and I have to disagree there are quite a number of aquatic characters possible.
Namorita of the New Warriors, Namor's Niece
Marina of Alpha Flight
Orca: Yet another Namor Villian
Tiger Shark: Masters of Evil
Sting Ray: Avengers
Atlanteans (generic guards and troopers)
There is a new series on Namor and I'm sure they'll be new villians and characters in there that might be appropriate.
In DC you have Tempest, Ocean Master, Orm, Dolphin, Sea Hunters, Atlanteans (generic guards and troopers)Mera, Arion, Lagoon boy of Young Justice.
So I quess my point is that though there are really very few maps and characters that feature Fish Powers (I'm still confused by what this means ... I'm assuming he means aquatic movers) That it could be a very interesting dynamic in certain scenarios and on certain maps.
In an all water map all non-flyers and non aquatics would be hindered in movement by half. Folks like aquaman wuld move freely just like they would on land.
Namor would be an interesting figure... Does he get a dolphin with wings??? He swims, He Flies and he walks on land.... He 3 freaks in one.
I give up. Gonna go work on my Fish Powers. sigh!!!

I use "fish powers" to sum up water based characters like Namor or Aquaman, all of which have superstrength, can swim alot, and suck heavy amounts of balls.
I quote these characters
Namorita of the New Warriors, Namor's Niece
Marina of Alpha Flight
Orca: Yet another Namor Villian
Tiger Shark: Masters of Evil
Sting Ray: Avengers
Atlanteans (generic guards and troopers)
Tempest, Ocean Master, Orm, Dolphin, Sea Hunters, Atlanteans (generic guards and troopers)Mera, Arion, Lagoon boy of Young Justice.
Notice a common trend with all of these characters? THEY ALL SUCK! Nobody likes aquatic characters, and the water move ability is all but useless. I know there is the one map with the pool, and I vaguelly remember a park map with a body of water, but other than that the only body of water I can think of is the fuggin fountain in the Mall. Wow, look at Aquaman do loops in the fountain, WHEEE!

As to your question, Namor will just fly. Flight covers the effects of water well enough, and its more often used than circling the fountain would be. He'll have flight, superstrength, a decent damage and attack value, maybe some charge, and he realistically should have battle fury.

Point taken about a lack of water maps. I would love a flooded map to explore the water powers more. It would be fun to have a huge water map with Atlanteans with Running Shot & Energy Explosion to simulate them riding aquatic life & blasting away at the surface dwellers. Plus these generics would have Toughness.
So Wizkids needs to give us new water dominated maps & water characters. This should spice up the play some.

phrophet I agree about having water based maps.
I'm sorry I think The Werle's "Fish Power are stupid" is not very imaginative. It does not account for a aquatic scenario where all land based characters would be hindered by 1/2 movement.
I also really am kind of ticked off with a assumtion that "characters with Fish Powers suck"
Why? Who says? What gives Werle the right to decide that " Nobody likes aquatic characters, and the water move ability is all but useless."
I for one look forward to a bunch of these characters to show up at one point or another. Many people have been asking for Namor. Do these people not exist. I read about people who want an Alpha Flight team and should they not include Marina? or those that want a new Warriors team should they not get a namorita?
Not all aquatic characters have Super Strenght by the way.
I'm sorry if I seem hard on this subject but I get a little fustrated with all the ignorant posts some put on here how this figure should never be made because this one individual thinks the power or character is LAME. I hope that every character has a shot at being made. Every last one right down to Forbush man and Ambush Bug.
I may be exaggerating here but seriously. All the complaining and arguments over the characters is pointless. This was supposed to be a thread about figures that may or may not be in the next Marvel set and people are arguing over Aquatic figures and the used for them.
Boneyard I apologize in advance and hope we can go back to the list and this thread's intention. I just think people should open thier minds to new possibilities with in the games mechanics and design.

According to a Time/Newsweek poll conducted 20 minutes ago,
79% of Americans believe that "Fish Powers kick ###!"
12% Don't know what is being referred to by "Fish Powers."
7% have a fondness for the idea of "Fish Powers," but can't fully support the notion due to marine allergies.
2% proudly proclaim that "Fish Powers" suck and they have bumper stickers that say so.

What they need is a Lyja the skrull figure. Mostly because other than Super-Skrull, all we've seen from that team is skrull grunts.
Also, she would be advantageous because as an R/E/V character, her Vet. (and maybe even her Exp.) could be Fantastic Four Team members...
Unlike Avengers and X-Men, there were so few FF members, and it's such a great team power, it's a shame to see it go to waste.
(While they're making more FF, the likely candidate is Franklin because he can have any power imaginable, but an unlikely -- yet highly overdue in my opinion -- option is Herbie the robot from the original FF cartoon)
ontapmedia
06/12/2003, 15:25
Technically there are quite a few FF possibilities including;
Antman (Scott Lang)R/E/V MoE/FF/Avengers
PowerMan (Luke Cage) R/E/V Defenders/FF/Spiderman
Crystal R/E/V FF whole dial
Ms. Marvel R/E/V none/FF/FF
Wyatt Wingfoot R/E/V none/FF/none
Some would argue that Spiderman/Logan/Wolverine and Hulk should get the FF. I say no. Spidey already had the wildcard ability. Ghost Rider could get a Wildcard and Logan and Hulk don't need it.
Other members that should get the membership due to the merged team ability include Power Pack and Inhumans. Not only because of their "otherwordly" type storiesbut because the FF and it's team ability represents the bond of Family which these team not only share but have very close ties with the FF. Franklin is a member of the Power Pack and the Inhumans have a very long standing relationship with the First Family of Marvel.

Crystal served as an Avenger most recently, so she should have Avengers affiliation on her Vet version. I don't believe we will see a Defenders themed set anytime soon. The fact that there isn't a Defenders comic series at the moment will influence it most of all. I'm saying we won't get any more Defenders in any of the sets, just don't expect a lot more figures (though now that we have a new lead designer, who knows?).

I threw out my own wishes, over on a separate but similar thread. Just to keep the discussion going, I'll repost those choices here, just to see what others think.
Angel, for certain. We've got to fill up the X-men roster. I'd love a Silver Age "Beast" with the big feet, too.
We need several new Spidey villains. Some common suggestions with which I agree:
Kraven
Rhino
The classic Green Goblin
Mysterio?
Lizard
Electro
Shocker
More heros? OK...
*Classic bulky golden-armored Iron Man, a la the Jack Kirby/Don Heck's version.
*A couple of the Inhumans - Black Bolt, Gorgon, Triton...
*The yellow Daredevil costume from the Wally Wood era
*If we save the 25' to 50' Giant Man for an over-sized character, then how about the 10-foot, blue and yellow "Goliath" incarnation of the character. I think that he could fit a single dialed hero clix platform.
*The Falcon, for a cheap taxi figure
*Namor, the Sub-mareeeeener!
*A REAL Ant-Man figure!
*Both Captain Marvels - the Kree fellow, and the later female, with the light-based powers.
*Iron Fist and Power-man, from the jivin' '70's
*The Warriors Three - Hogun, Fandral, and Volstagg
*The Silver Surfer - in an expensive and "just slightly more powerful than the limited edition of Superman" version. A unique, most likely...
Some FF villains:
*The Wizard and the Trapster, in his earlier, "Paste-Pot Pete" persona
*Diablo
*Mole Man and one of his sub-terrainian hoard
*The Red Ghost and his 3 goofy apes?
*Maximus, the Mad
How about Avenger/Capt. America/Thor villains?
*Loki, and the Executioner.
*Zemo
*The Melter or the Mounted Black Night?
*Ulik, the troll
*Cobra
*If we have the Toad, why not Batroc, zee Leaper?
*Auttuma (or is that Autumma? Auttumma? - that Attlantian bad guy!)
And...
*Baron Mordo and the "Dread" Dormammu, to flesh out a couple of Dr. Strange villains.
Well - that's just off the top of my head. I'm sure that there are many other characters - but this would nail down most of the main Stan Lee Marvel Characters from the early days of Marvel.

hey i found a list of wizkids announcements given out (awhile ago) by a user here called foilball. He said it was given at a convention and that an unnamed Marvel Expansion WAS DUE this November.
Don't know if you'll think november is more official now, but the list has already come true as far as Indyclix release, new map packs and Xplosion's awesome sculpts.
There was a post somewhere by Jon L, I think under the thread about him leaving, where he said he's made the next 3 sets- Cosmic Justice, Indy and a set to be released in the Fall. I'd assume this fall set would be Marvel and November sounds about right. This next Marvel set would more than likely be Avengers themed. While we're missing quite a few spidey enemies I don't think we'll get a spidey set until february or March next year to coincide with The Amazing Spiderman movie. It will probably follow the same time tableing as the earlier expansions because we got Clobberin time in November and then Xplosion early in the new year. Avengers themed would allow them to bring in the last of the big guns that they haven't been done yet. If I was Jon L I know I'd want to get guys like the Silver Surfer done before I left. Actually the next Marvel set should be pretty good as I'd think Jon L would want to leave with a bang. By the way was it ever confirmed what other game he was moving onto? Maybe this new thing that's being anounced soon. They probably want their most experienced designer on their next big thing. Must be very similar to Heroclix though or they wouldn't put Jon L on it.

If 'Clix releases are in any way tied to Hollywood (and the sudden interest in characters that are in Hollywood movies), then I think November 2004 would be a GREAT TIME FOR ME, BAY-BEE!
Peyton Reed's "Fantastic Four" is skedded to be released, and so I'm hoping for a truly FF-themed "Clobberin' Time v2.0" which should have some these overlooked FF-related rogues:
Mole Man (if not released sooner), Diablo, Red Ghost, Maximus, Psycho-Man, Wizard, Trapster, Molecule Man, Hate-Monger, Rama-Tut, Mad Thinker and his loaf-of-bread-head Awesome Android, Quasimodo, Dragon Man, Attuma, Air-Walker, Ronan the Accuser, Malice (unique) and Terrax. I'm leaving out a whole bunch of dudes on purpose; I figure these folks here have given most of the Marvel Universe problems in their respective histories.
And allies: Namor, Him/Adam Warlock, Black Bolt, Crystal w/Lockjaw, Karnak, Triton, Gorgon, Thundra, Silver Surfer and Frankie Raye/Nova.
Oh, what's that? You want generics? How about Enclave Scientist, Moleoids, Atlantean and Kree assclowns?
Big figs? Galactus (he can be done, people), Mole Man's subterranean street-ripper and hey - Tomazooma! Joke. How about Kree Sentry 459?
I got it - the Watcher! He could just stand there and do nothing (or at least that what he's supposed to do) but then he breaks his solemn oath ONE MORE TIME and interferes in game play!
Except for Thundra, note how I ignored everything from the Thomas/Conway/DeFalco/Englehart/Claremont eras. Yep, that's intentional.

OK by now everyone will have noticed that my Internet connection had a triple aneurysm. Sorry about the double redundant posts.
Just wanted to let people know I wasn't taking crazy pills.
Back to the topic - Mole Man fell off of Boneyard's list of rumored 'Clix. Was that rumor squashed or something?

I went to my HC retailer today & he said to me that he heard somewhere in the net (So this information has a good probability to be unfounded, don't misunderstand me, I can't confirm it in anyway!) that the next Marvel set will be released in November and be named.......
.
.
.
.
.
.
.

.
."CRITICAL MASS"
he also told me that it will came with additionnal rules to play thoses critical mass situations...
I must say that I don't know what this could means
Hope it helps the rest of us to wait for the next WK present

I really think the next set will feature characters from the avengers/ defenders war plus a few from other areas
black knight
namor
hell cat
valkerie
nighthawk
hawkeye as defender
angel
mantis
swordsman
loki
dormamu
baron mordo
silver surfer (remember he was actually stripped of most of his powers and sentenced to live on earth)
Remember this game is set up into factions and eventually they will want everyone to be able to play as factions if they want or if campaigns are run like mage or mech systems.
if im right then the next set would focus on spierman and the syndicate giving us 5 sets focusing on 10 groups with the shield and hydra getting about 3 figs a set equaling a release

For the next expansion I really want to see the Kree mixed into the fray as generics. Could do the whole Kree-Skrull war scenario.
How cool would that be?
If not Kree, then maybe a flight support figure for Shield, perhaps Shield Scout. Could also use a shield member with with perplex, say, Shield Intelligence or something to that effect.:)
..... Are you sure?

I personally don't think it's too early to contemplate the next Marvel Expansion. Personally I think I'd like to see some of the offspring of some characters...
Spider-Girl
Wild Thing
Psi Lord (Franklin Richards)
Valeria Von Doom
beyond that perhaps these too...
Spider-Woman
Loki
Black Bolt
Crystal
Namor
Malice (Sue Richards version)
Electro
Punisher
Silver Surfer (unique, of course)
Thundra
Warbird
Impossible Man
Absorbing Man
Agatha Harkness
Banshee
Carnage
Venom
Tigra
Reed Richards as Doctor Doom
Hate Monger
Mimic
Angel
Havok
as far as the next BIG clix to go with the Sentinal...
Giant Man

its looking pretty clear though that the next set most likely wont be spiderman related. The spiderman movie is now scheduled for july 04 and the promotional dept at wizkids has followed the Marvel movie releases pretty close. The rumor is we will get a marvel in Nov and a DC in early spring. if you count the weeks there is just enough time to squeeze an indy set and then a spidy set to go with the movie. so that leaves the next set with avengers, defenders, MOE. If they make this set similar to the way cj and expl. sets went, then we should see families of 4 like they did with ironman, hulk,dd.and then a bigger subset within like the xmen.
It would be nice to see some of the bigger crossovers in this next set.
Namor -R - MoD
E - Defen.
V - Aveng.
LE - ff
Angel - R - xmen
E - Dfender
v - xmen
Black knight - R - MoE
E - aveng
V - aveng
LE - defen
Marvel Critical Mass Expansion
Releasing later this fall. We saw handful of sample figures including a new Wolverine, a green Hulk with 2 bandoleers of bullets and a very large gun, a Spiderman leaping, legs spread wide, over a building, and a Silver Surfer figure. It was mentioned that also in the set were figures that could take out Silver Surfer so no one should think he is the most powerful in the bunch.
Based on this URL http://www.gamingreport.com/article.php?sid=9461&mode=thread&order=0
So the standard Spiderman, Wolverine, (smart)Hulk holds true. But it also looks like a confirmed Silver Surfer, plus some other big guns.
Very awesome news. I hope the Hulk also has the pink bunny slippers. Sounds to me like it'll be the first hulk with CCE since he'll also have range and I don't see the Hulk doing the same damage at range as he does up close and personal... ever.
The new Spidey sounds cool, I wonder what his dial will look like.
No info on what the Wolvie looks like... hopefully a better verson with the X-team or Wolverine as Death.
Silver Surfer, FINALLY! More of that Wizkids listening to the demands of the public, I love it!

I'm glad the WizKids pays attention, but on the other hand, why bother with Silver Surfer if you know the fans are going to be ingrateful b@stards? "He should be able to kill everyone because he has the power cosmic!" Blah Blah Blah. He was never my favorite character, mainly because of his endless pontificating. For that matter, that whole Infinity mess was not to my liking. It's those people that tend to be the most outspoken about, for example, Thanos. So, now this is another reason for folks to get all worked up.
However, I'm excited about new Hulks, Spideys, and Wolvies...no really! As long as each one does something that the other can't/don't do, then there's plenty of room...or Unique slots, as the case may be.

Truthfully...as long as I eventually get the last Avenger pieces<<Antman non LE, Tigra, and a few more I'm probably forgetting>> I'm a happy camper. <<and a few more Xmen, Havoc and Bishop, would find a place on my team, probably
However, if that's true, SS, if I can afford him in a team, will be running like crazy. :)
Wonderman, Antman and Tigra are the Avengers I'm hoping to see make the set. I'm expecting we'll definately see one of these but I'm not so sure about more than that, unfortunately. I'd say Wonderman is a shoe-in for the set. REV with R on MoE and EV being on Avengers.
I'd like to see Havok since he's my favorite Xmen character but I'm not going to hold my breath right now.

I am sure this has been posted before but here goes: CONFIRMED (by an official) are: A new Wolverine, Spider-Man, "leaping, legs spread wide, over a building," Hulk with "2 bandoleers of bullets and a very large gun," and Silver Surfer. (!) It has also been released that there are in the new set "figures that could take out Silver Surfer so no one should think he is the most powerful in the bunch." go to this site for details: http://www.gamingreport.com/article.php?sid=9461&mode=thread&order=0
Also: The next set is definitely called "Critical Mass"

Lord, I hope I'm wrong about this, but I heard that Marvel has only signed on for two more expansions. No expansion #6...
As long as I get my Thunderbolt figures (and their MoE counterparts) before Wiz Kids stops making Marvel figures, I'll be good.
Plus I need Venom, Rhino, Tigra, and Wonderman!

ok we all know that the Critical Mass thread is "Boneyard's Marvel Expansion 3" right?
I mean this confused me because #4 is for the one after Critical Mass in DEC (Pllleease November instead!)

according to my research, the name is critical mass, with an emphasis on cosmic people. Confirmed figures from a poster are new wolvie, spidey leaping, hulk w/ guns(smart?), and Silver Surfer. Personal speculation is REV of modern Capt. marvel w/ unique being 60s or 70s costume (i.e. red and black one). also assumed by source are cable and deadpool to push new mini-series.
