I am gonna kill my landlord...he has spent the last 2 days oiling the wooden floor. I stayed at a friend's last night and I expected to start moving my furniture back into place when I got home and it seems he may have applied another coat this morning. I will try to post my next turn tonight but it may have to wait until Friday am. I really apologize for the delay.
You can got with any of the maps you want simply4est. If you decide to change let's re-post the starting positions and the turns in brief.

No prob - sorry to hear you're delayed, I've dealt with pesky landlords before... lol.
Basically I wanted to use the new version of Marvel Starter Indoors map Chris (CCTelander) put up on the resource site because the numbering/lettering is much easier to read. But the numbers and letters are on opposite sides from the map we started on, so basically same situation and same map (and orientation), but the coords would be:

I'm sorry, for some reason I was thinking that's only when the healer is based...
Okay, well, since you lost an action on your part of the turn due to a mistake, I'll just accept this as a lost action and we'll be even there. So, the difference is Firelord still has 6 Clicks and Jane Foster does not have an action token - sound okay to you?

Well, on Taskmaster, the PAC for Mastermind says it's when the fig is the target, so I dont think mastermind can be used for splash damage. On Destiny, I looked but couldn't find where SS can be used on splash damage either - Do you know any FAQ that supports either one of these? I did try going through the PAC and FAQ to look for this stuff before I post my move, but didnt find anything except what the PAC says for Mastermind.

Basically, Knockback follows the damage, so if Taskmaster Masterminds the damage away, the knockback goes with it to the other figure... provided Taskmaster was the target of the attack. If he was, then he can Mastermind the entire direct damage and splash damage to another figure, but from what I read above, he only received splash damage. That cannot be MM'd away. And since the damage stays with him, he gets knocked back.
Now as far as Super Senses and splash damage from EE - Splash isn't an attack unto itself, but it is an aspect of a ranged combat attack. If you are a recipient of splash damage, then you were hit by the overall EE ranged combat attack, and so Super Senses may be rolled. Basically, all you need is a successful attack to activate a SS roll (even if you were not a target).
Did I miss anything? PM me if I did, or you want a better explanation.

If Forrest is impatient or upset about the length of time between turns he can handle telling me about it himself. I do not enjoy play-by-post but simply4est has been very good about the whole thing. What is your big interest in this game anyway? What is it to you if it is won, lost, or played in a speedy fashion? The whole test game series is not going to make a lick of difference now that the flying/taxi rule is changing.

Speaking of needing to respond, I will certainly respond to this. I said something to you once about 2 months ago in the Another Realms forum during the "clan" frenzy and then I posted this. I believe in the interim we bumped into each other in the chatroom and I asked you how your game was going.
I fail to see how that constitutes "following you around" and "harassing you from the get go". That's a little melodramatic IMHO. I said you had posted 250 posts between turns, I got that from a quick post search - posts are numbered. I certainly have not read them all - save for the ones you've posted here. I do not follow or harass you and resent the accusation.
Yes I would like to see the games finished whether they count for anything in the long run or not closure is always a good thing, particularly when a lot of players have invested time in this thing ...
Yes I feel like part of a team and whether its this or checkers, I would feel the same way ...

Yes I am interested in how simply4est does, if you are assuming my interest in this game is your participation, you are mistaken. Simply4est and I actually played the very first forum game here on hcrealms well over a year ago. We did it when there was no procedure to follow or maps. I made the first map actually for forum play - archaic though it is now. We worked it up and got it going. The game crashed, but he went on to hold a series of games based on the format/procudure ironing out the bugs, and his future games were a big success in terms of encouraging people to play . . And where are we today, there's an actual forum for playing online - when back then, people said it couldn't be done. So in remembering all that, I am here to watch Forrest not you, so please lay to rest your concerns about me following you.
You are correct in two things, he's a really nice guy (I to the contrary, am not) and I'm butting in where its not my business - but that's the team player/big mouth side of me I have trouble repressing. There's no point in apologizing for being me . ..so I won't, but I will not interrupt this thread again. I had no intention of coming back to it except to read until the "stalker"/"harassing" accusations started flying - I'm not about to let that go unchallenged. You may not like what I posted earlier, but atleast it was the truth. This game is the last thing on your mind, even today as you return to post to me and to say that the games make no difference, but not to make a move.

Well, it's a nice looking map, but there are a number of terrain discrepancies with the Call to Arms one. Now I dont know which is actually correct - I dont have that physical map - but we've already been using the Call to Arms version. If you can download the Call to Arms one, it will insert into a Word doc and work the same for you, or let me or daredevil11 know and one of us can probably put that together for you (Note: mine are usually not that nice looking though, just functional).

oops, sorry fellas. Hate turning out shotty stuff . . . all I can say is it was a rush job and my eyes aren't what they used to be - the red of the resource map really caused me some problems.
I think I can see what happened, I started at about the 6 oclock position on the map, looks like the later it got - the more mistakes I made. You know you work on something too long and it starts to look right even if it isn't LOL.
Anyway, I sent darius what I believe is a corrected one based on the resource map which I think is accurate to the original, the mistakes were purely mine.
Well good luck fellas - if I can help - let me know. Again sorry about that.

Looks good to me. Great game Forest! It was a pleasure playing you although I do not enjoy the format. It became a little better after daredevil11 helped out witht the map (thanks a lot!!!).
