I have one issue with your first move. Paramedic started in hindering terrain and can only move 1/2 move (3). Therefore she cannot get to O5. Since this does not affect my next move I will go ahead and move. Please send me an updated location for Paramedic when you get a chance.

My oversight, both his Destiny figs has LoS so FL1 reroll #1
4 + 1, 5, Hit!

Reroll again...

4+4, 8 Hit! plus knockback 2 clicks, but still enough to take off stealth. Then my 2nd FL would still have swooped in for 5 and that would be enough for the KO.

2 things:

first just to clarify since FL1 pushed to try and break away he now has (7 clicks) correct.

second I count 4 actions in your last turn, Vulture, FL1, FL2 and Paramedic. You will need to take back one of them.

I will assume that you will choose not to move Paramedic and proceed with my turn. Let me know if this incorrect.

Ugh! I am very new to this forum game thing. I had Destiny and Wasp figs reversed on my map. So

Wasp2@ to K-12 drops FL2@ on K-13

In that case I would have outwitted the PC before the move, then moved then attacked. With the Wasp and Destiny figs revered I had no need to outwit the PC because Destiny had no LoS.

All my figs will take a breater ;)

I have 2 KOed E FLs that is 162, I was 300 so I have 138 still on the board. I KOed V Wasp 37 and U Wolvie 64 for a total of 101. That gives me 249 for game one. I REALLY wanted that R Destiny kill because I knew the game would be SUPER close if I could KO her.

Just did the math on your score and when I take 138 + 101 I come up with 239.

Please double check mine as well. ;)

I started with 298, Lost Wolvie 64 and Wasp 37 (101 total) which gives me 197. I KOd to Fire lords 81 x 2 = 162. For at total score of 359.

When you are ready for round 2 go ahead and make your roll to see who goes first so we can pick maps ect..

I may have found a scoring error. It appears that Wasp1 should have had 2 clicks on him on the last turn. You pushed Wasp1 in turn 2 to attack my Wolverine. You then pushed Wasp1 again in Turn 6 on a failed break away attempt. That means that on turn 10 when I hit Wasp1 with SS she would have been KOd. Please confirm and let me know if we need to rescore the game.

You are correct. I never recored the push damage for that wasp. So that is 33 points. Ouch.

Just realized that I have been posting the wrong locations for Vulture and E destiny on the last two turns. The correct locations shold have been:

Vulture K2, E - Destiny K4. Not that E - Destiny matters now since she has been KOd, But I did have Paramedic and Vulture both listed as the same location. Hopefully you saw that in the pics I sent you.

If E-Destiny was in I4 as I posted I would not have been able to do some of the rerolls I did because there was a wall in the way.

However, since E Destiny was at K4 you would have been out of range with FL2 at D6. You would need to be at E6 to hit her since FL has 6 range.

Since I made an error on my post I will allow you to move your Wasp2 and FL2 forward 1 square if you wish so that they are in range.

The only other alternative would be to replay the last couple of turns since I technically made 2 illegal rerolls based on my posted location for E - Destiny.

Please let me know how you want to handle this.

I was going by your pictures. (GJ on the pictures BTW makes the game MUCH smoother)

FL is still in range at his current location. He has a range of 8. If you are looking on the creationmatrix clicker it is a misprint.

or maybe... You do know that these are both E FLs..right? R FL does have range of 6 and click 1 D of 17, which you tried to hit earlier.

Anyway, both of the FLs are E.

I don't think your Paramedic on your previous turn would be able to get to F16. She started in Hindering terain at F21 so would only be able to move 3 squares. Anyway that won't effect my turn so I will go ahead with it.

Yes this time I tried not to get in a position where you could base me with your Destinys as the trick for FL cheese is to get BACK to the medic, not just stand around and be beat around. On the turn that I attacked your SS I really wanted to kill your Wasp, but it would have extended me a little and allowed your Destinys to base me. After my abysmal break away rolls last game I was a bit timid because I knew that I had the win pretty much covered.

You hid your Vulture away therefore I think all I can do is crit hit your Wasp for a KO...

Wasp1 will FM to N-7 dropping FL2 at P-6.
Destiny will FM to L-4.
FL2 will shoot Wasp needing a Crithit for the KO.
Both rolls were not crit hits so they really do not matter.

Good game!

My final score is 300 + 64 (wolvie) + 23 (E Destiny) + 20 (R Destiny) = 407

Let see if we can go OUTDOORS this time ;)

I thought that you might rest as well. Just so that you know I went over and over shooting Wasp on my turn, then next up was trying to kill off SS but that stupid skrull power is what was the deciding factor on NOT attacking SS on turn 2.

I have one issue with your previous turn. You used Wasp1 to Move FL1 to the Medic. However Wasp1 was Adjacent to Wolve and SS and you did not roll for breakaway. Not sure how you want to handle this, but it possibly makes a huge differnece in the outcome of your turn.

For the folks at home I messed up and moved my Wasp without a breakaway roll. After much discussion tsunami_777 was nice enough to allow me to make that break away roll and I got it for a 5. So my turn rests as it stands.

I do feel bad about last turn. I hope you do not think that I was doing anything underhanded. It was a honest typo and oversight, as I was making a move from work. I really do not think that the overall move would have changed i.e. healing of FL and KOing of Wolvie, but I do feel a little rotten about it.

As far as 1 click away from KOing FL. This is one of my biggest gripes about him... he is SOOOO deep you hit him for 8 clicks and up he still stood. Which means that on your turn you would have had to hit a 7 for SS's attack then a non-crit miss for wolvie but then you had to hit a 5 or 6 on BCF TWICE (because of PC) in order to kill him.

Also I thought that if you went for a first strike that you would be seperated from the real strength of your team, the dual Destinys. They can reroll the annoying skrull power on D then turn around and make you hit AND get good BCF rolls on O.

Now lets see if I can taste SS blood for once...

Yes you are correct, I did seperate my from my destinys, but it was a calculated risk. I felt that you probably would have taken out either my wasp or my wolverine anyway on you next move. So I went for it, I came up a little short, but it was interesting. :cool: And as you can tell from my playing style I don't like to sit back and let things happen. I always like to press the issue. Sometimes it works and other times well....
At this point I surrender, I have nothing left that can hurt you so no need to play it out. I'm not sure what the ruling is for scoreing if I quit early. If they want to give you my full points for the surrender that's fine but I see no reason to play it out.

I score as follows:

298 - 64(wolvie) - 127(SS) = 107

Hey guys,
Congrats on being the first pairup to finish your series! (Mine hasn't even started yet :-)

BTW, just a note on the whole breakaway thing, since it seems to have caused you guys a little stress. I think you guys handled it right, so hopefully you're both OK with it. If it had happened in a tournament setting, and a judge was called over - they would simply have pointed out that you CAN'T make that move, and so the action was illegal. You would then have to make the breakaway roll, and if it failed, you'd have to move Wasp and Firelord back to their original positions, give Wasp her action token for the failed breakaway, and continue the turn from there.

As I understand it, that's what you guys did.

Yea, we passed emails back and forth to resolve it.

Two problems happened.

1. I made a move w/o the breakaway.
2. I made the problem worse by putting two typos in the move in question. :)

After we sat down and looked at it the break away would not have adversely affected the rest of the turn (healing FL and KOing Wolverine) therefore we both agreed that it would be fair for me to make a breakaway roll, if I got it then fine, the turn would go as I originally posted it. If I did not get the breakaway then Wasp and FL would stay in their place and BP would remain in HIS place (no LoS to Wolvie or SS).

tsunami_777 also made games 2 and 3 more smooth by emailing me pictures of the REAL board after every turn.

Yea, Digital cameras are a wonderful thing to have around. This series was a lot of fun, can't wait to find out who my next opponet is. I have tweaked my team a little and have a nasty suprise for all you FL supporters out there.
