I'm currently in a game with JoeyTheButt, and am waiting for him, but I'll be online till about 11PM (EST). Anyone want to play?
I'll be using creationmatrix.com for maps and such. Here's what I'd like:
Mixed Marvel/DC. Honor System Dice Rolling (I can bend on this one). 100-500 pts. I'd prefer no duplicates, but you may use them if you choose.
So, any takers?
I'll play a quick game. Would you be interested in 300 rookies only?

Yeah, R Checkmate replaced with R Paramedic and R Thug... and I dunno, I've done a few practice rolls to warm the dice up and I haven't rolled over a 5 soi far

Doctor Doom looks across the board... "Tell me he did not just say that."
Firelord looks away to Steel. "I think we should get Doom out more."
Doom, ignoring the insult, picks the SHILED Trooper up from behind him and moves onto a (insert random heavy object here).
The paramedic looks around, soils herself at the thought of being hurt and slips into the bushes.
Destiny feeling left out, moves close to her secret lover, the SHIELD Trooper.

Out: Yeah, that's cool.
In:
"Who wants a piggy back ride!" Hawkman yells to his teammates behind him, trying to booster morale.
Bane and Thing shrug their shoulders and rock, paper, scissors it, no pun intended with the rock part.
Throwing their hands into their.....other hands, the two heavy hitters show their sign.
"You can't use dynamite on my rock!" yells Bane, "That's an illegal move."
"Shoulda called it before the game, fool." Ben Grimm laughed, as Hawkman pulled Bane into the air by his mask.
"Hey! A window! Wonder if it's to the bathroom?" Hall asked, landing to get a loser look.
After the two took off, Thing looked around.
"Awesome! A big rig axle! I've always wanted to lift that!" he shouted, running to the rusty metal.
"Guys?" Robin questions his teammates loyalties as he looks around. "Guys? I was told to meet you here. Where are you?" he wanders about, eventually sitting on the hood of a resting truck, waiting.....

Thing moves to G15, picking up the heavy object along the way.

Steel and Firelord glance at each other. "They did that just to piss you off, Lordy."
Firelord looks at his options. "WWDD?"
"WWDD?" Steel asks.
"Yeah, What Would Doom Do?"
"Just kill somebody!" Doom shouts from his position further up on the battlefield.
Steel, seeing a chance to do some damage, picks Firelord up, gaurding himself from burns, and carries him close to the Thing.
Firelord, looking at the massive pile of rock standing before him, questions his motives for entering the battle in the first place. He turns to the Thing and launches a bolt of flame towards the rock beast, going through a gas pump. The pump blocks the rock beat from being hurt, the gas pump exploding in a wall of fire, then quickly dying down.
The Thug moves up with his master Doom.
ACTIONS

-Firelord attacks Thing, needs to roll a 7, misses with a 4.

The flame wall caught Thing by surprise.
"What the...?" he asked himself, as the fire disappeard. "Oh. Musta been the 'Torch. I wish that kid would leave me alone."
He ignorantly ignored the attack.
Meanwhile, Hawkman oogled at the window!
"Yeah baby! Take it off!" he hooted and hollered. Bane, looking over the window, noticed something a little off.
"THERE'S NO ONE IN THERE!!!" he shouted at Hawkman, smacking him in the back of the head (but causing no damage!)
"Let's just go fight," he ordered, as he and Carter took to the skies.
"I see something," Hawkman responded. "Something.....shiny....".
His bird-like mind was quickly appealed to what turned out to be Dr. Doom's armor.

Hawkman pushed to Charge Dr. Doom from square N8, also taxi'ing Bane into N7. 16-9=Need a 7 to hit. Rolled a 7 (5 and 2).
Before I go any further, I'm assuming you are going to Mastermind the damage to one of the fellows next to Doom?

Hawkman smashes into Doom! But in reflex, Doom's armored hand bonks the Thug in the mouth! The Thug instantly falls to the ground.
Bane falls free next to the Thug's body, as Hawkman tries to recover from his senses shattering movement.
Bane looks to Doom on his right and the scared Trooper on his left. Right again. Left again.
Bane picks up the panicky Trooper and uses a back breaker on him! Lifting the body up once again, Bane tosses him into a tree across from the back of the building.
Robin jumps at the sound of one tree falling with no one around to hear it.

Hawkman's Charge does 3 damage to Doom, whom Masterminds it on the Thug, KOing him. Hawkman takes a click of push.
Bane attacks the SHIELD Trooper. 14-10=Needs a 4 to hit. Rolls a 4 (2+2) for 6 damage w/ CCE and knockback into the side of the map at H1, KOing him.

Hawkman: N8 @@ (1 damage)
Thing: G15 carring Heavy Object
Robin: Q16
Doom look to his left, seeing two dead members of his army. "Well, this isn't looking too good for our hero."
Destiny moves closer. "Hero? What do you mean hero? You're the bad guy here, Doom."
"Oh right. That's probably why they don't like me."
"Yeah."
Doom raises his powerful hand and, after adjusting his hand to give himself more of a downward attacking motion, swings at Bane, missing him by a mile.
"Wait... that never happened."
Wayne and Garth run by "doodly doo, doodly doo"
Doom raises his powerful hand and, after adjusting his hand to give himself more of a downward attacking motion, swings at Bane, connecting in the chin sending him back into the wall.
Firelord, angry at his gas pump explosion before, decides that he has to redeem himself. He fires another flame at the walking rock, engulfing the beast in flame for a quick moment before his natural rock formation cancles any spreading.

Doctor Doom perplexses his damage up to 4
Doctor Doom attacks Bane, rolling a three (2,1), but Destiny uses Probability control, causing him to roll an 8 (4,4), for four clicks plus one knockback into a wall, 5 clicks of damage, 4 after toughness.
Firelord pushes to attack Thing, rolling a 7 (5,2) for 5 clicks, 3 after invul.

Out: Great move!!!
In:
Okay, the sounds of trees shattering, firey explosions, and broken siding on a house confuses the Boy Wonder.
"Wha...?" he thinks, "Maybe the team is here after all."
Leaping off of the truck and running about like a chicken with his head cut off, Robin finally sees the true Dynamic Duo, Bane and Hawkman, getting pounded about.
As the bodies stumble around, they give open sight to the enemy, Dr. Doom.
"AaaaaEEEEEEE!" Robin yells finding the nearest hiding spot: The roof of yet another truck (but this one's purple!!).
Bane and Hawkman lifeless bodi......um,......they rest. That's the ticket!
It seems the fire finally caught Things attention as he screams like a girl and hoists the truck axl high into the air!
The axle glides through the air and straight over Firelord's head.
And finally, the Ever Lovin' Blue Eyed Thing stopped prancing.

Thing attacks Firelord with the heavy object. 16-8=Needs an 8 to hit. Rolls a 7, missing.

OUT - Thanks... got lucky on Bane. That knockback helped greatly.

Firelord stands, panting uncontrolably. "Steel, I think this one is up to you."
Steel surverys his options, and while doing so, his x-ray vision picks up a small, almost ignorably figure hiding ontop of a truck. "How do you hide ON a truck?" Steel wonders as he prepares to throw his hammer, or wahtever he does to hurt people 8 feet away.
He hurls his hammer towards Robin, who turns and manages to avoid it just before he becomes Boy Headless.
Doom turns and contemplates going and killing Steel himself for attacking Robin instead of Thing, but desides to simply hang out. "I'm cool, yo."
Destiny rolls her eyes at the aging hipster.
ACTIONS

Steel attacks Robin, rolling a 5 (3,2), missing.
Everybody else rests

Robin sighs a sigh of relief as the hammer magically appears back in the hands of Steel.
"Aw, ####!"
Bane, still groggy, stumbles to his feet and kicks Doom in the crotch.
"Hahahaha!" Doom laughs "The HooHa of Doom has extra special armor!"
Bane's foot stings like the Almighty!
Hawkman giggles as well, while he brings out his mace and pounds Doom in the face!
The mace bounces off and smacks him in the eyeball!
"Ow!" he yells as Carter falls over.

I got all the stuff written down for the match. G'night!
Doom scratches his "extra armour hooha", making sure Bane didn't bent it, but ntoices a few new scrathes. "You are in for a world of hurt now, little man."
Destiny taps Doom on the shouler. "Did you just call him little?"
"Shut up, hoomie." Doom smirks as he adjusts his fist for a more powerful impact again. He rears back and lets one fly, smashing Bane on the jaw once again. "That will teach you to scuff the magical hooha."
On the other end of this war, Firelord laughs hysterically at Steel. "You couldn't even hit Robin. I'm here during a beast made of Rock, and you can't hit a man who wears tights."
"Just attack already!" Steel replies, a single tear streaming down his face.
Powering up and flame, Firelord takes aim and lets it fly at Thing, once again igniting the pile of rubble. He turns and grins at Steel. "One day I'll teach you to aim." he laughs again as Thing rolls to put the flames out.

"Momma No!" Thing yelled, performing his best Spinaroonie to vanquish the flames.
The weakened Ben Grimm stands up, his pebbles hitting the ground as he walks. (Yay! It sounds dirty!)
"That's it, freak!" he shouts running to just below the flying Herald of Galactus and picking up a barrel full of water, "You're coming down!"
Robin, still with wet pants from Steel's attempted attack, throws a bola at Destiny.

Robin attacks Destiny. 13-8=Needs a 5 to hit. Rolls a 7.

You can do Destiny's Super Senses yourself. :)

I prob contol it, and roll a 6, so no damage to Destiny
Both Steel and Firelord exchane glances with the giant that now sits within striking distance.
Steel thinks for a moment. I didn't sign up for any giant skull basing from this beast... what say we make a hasty retreat?"
Firelord contemplates it for a moment. "I've a better idea. Pull me back."
Steel picks Firelord up once again, and drop him only a few squares from where he was.
Firelord grins as he takes yet another shot at the walking mammoth, once again setting the beast on fire. He falls, and as Firelord and Steel high five each other, the Thing somehow manages to get to his feet.
Between the buildings, rubble lies everywhere (and over here, it's not part of Things anatomy). Doom goes into kamikame mode as he throws a masive first at Bane, easily hitting the weakened golioth. He staggers for a moment, then falls to the ground next to Carter Hall.

Firelord attacks Thing, needs a 4 and rolls a 7 (6,1), for three clicks of damage after toughness (push for Firelord)

With his last bit of energy (before passing out) Thing hurls the water filled barrel at Firelord.
The barrel smacks into Firelord, the water splashing all over him.
In a huff, the Thing falls unconsciouss (sp?).
Meanwhile, at the massacre:
Bane falls limp under Hawkman (love those double entandres!).
"Caaaaaaaaw!" Carter yells swinging his mace at Doom's mighty noggin.
CLANG!!!!
Robin was too busy "becoming a man" to notice the attack.

Finally! (Man, I hate that figure!!) LOL!
Destiny falls to the ground after being smacked by Doctor Doom.
"You'd think I saw that coming. Now who will alter my time for me? Steel? Puh-lease!" Quickly, Paramedic, come to my air so I can have somebody else to kill... I mean, smoke a fatty with."
The medic moves next the good Doctor, pulling out the papers.
"Ha, sucker, now you will fall with me. Or rather, for me."
Once again, the medic soils herself.

"Hey Birdman!" he shouted down to the now shocked and hurt Carter Hall, "I need some back up!"
"Huh?" Hawkman said, continuing the swingin motion of his mace.

Out: Dang Blast! Now you done confusded me!
In:
Mace the Enchanted Mace of Maciness smashes into Doom's arm, knocking just a little of the armor off.
"Hahahahahahaha!" Robin laughed, tossing a Bat-Hand Grenade at the disturbingly nasty Paramedic.
Clearly being born with no depth perception, Robin's explosive goes past the Medic, Doom, and anyone else in sight, and lands directly in the truckstop doorway.
KA-BOOM!!!

Firelord and Steel, now slightly rested, begin to move to save their good friend, Doctor Doom.
Firelord, for once, grabs ahold of Steel and drops flies up onto a roof, droping Steel right above the not-quite-so-mighty Robin.
Gripping his newly-named "Hammer-rang", he flings it, hoping to make him the Headless Wonder yet again. The hammer-rang pings off the Boy Wonders skull, yet because of the angle, Steel does not get the neck and Robin retains his head. Another single tears streams down Steels face.
Shaking the hand of Carter Hall, Doom picks the Paramedic up and moves next to a bush, hiding the medic inside.
ACTIONS

Firelord moves to J7, carrying Steel to J8
Steel attacks Robin. Needs to roll a 7 and rolls an 8 (5,3) for four clicks of damage with RCE.
Doctor Doom moves to O4, carrying Paramedic to P4 after rolling 5 for breakway.
NOTE - Carter Hall should have 3 clicks of damage... 2 pushes and one crit miss.
Oh, and on a side note... your team is doind alot better than I thought it would. You play it very well.

Thanks. I'm actually surprised it did so well too.
You've been by far one of my favorite opponents. The writing is fantastic! And that Rookie team is very, very sweet! Nice going.
"Wow, I've never heard of a medic healing an acutal Doctor before" the medic remarks as gets out her repair kit. "Wish I was a mechanic, though." She does what she can, but only manages to fix a few dents and apply a new coat of wax.
Firelord and Steel laugh as Robin falls face first.

"Oh Ho Ho!" Hawkman belts out, "Tis a game of Hide and Seek you want to play?"
Carter begins to move.
"Then let's play."
Coming across the corner of the ashen building remains, Hawkman bumps into a very metallic bush.
Robin clammers up and flings a Batarang at Steel. The 'Rang goes out about a foot before falling to the ground.
And Robin faints again.

Robin attacks Steel. Needs a 12 to do any damage. Rolls a 7, missing.
Carter Hall: P3 @ (3 damage)
Robin: K9 @ (4 damage)
Being pushed for a quick second, Doom finally realizes that Carter Hall has moved next to him. "Medic friend, why didn't you tell me he was here."
"Shhhhh," the medic replies, "if I don't get this second coat done you'll look like ####."
Doom decides that running is out of the option in this situation, and rears back for yet another Doomlike blow. However, being the more rested, Hall moves aside easily.
Steel, on the ohter hand, is making short work of the Boy Wonder. "You call that thing a 'rang? My hammer-rang will destroy you with ease."
The hammer-rang flies down and manages to clock Robin in the back of the head of the already fainted Robin.
"Nice work, buddy, now let's go help Doom!" Firelord says, picking his travenling buddy up and carrying him into action range.

Out: Man, I laughed out loud at Steel talking trash to a fainted Robin. Is that so wrong?

Hawkman brushes by the Paramedic, but clearly hears Doom talking, (obviously about himself, seeing as how it's Doom).
"Hey Puppet Pal Paramedic?" Carter asks.
"Yes, Puppet Pal Hawkman?"
"What did the Elephant say to the Hippo?"
"I don't know. What DID the Elephant say to the Hippo?"
"BONK!"
Hawkman drops his mace lightly on the Paramedic's head, instantly knocking her out.

Realizing that to take out Carter Hall, Steel rears back his trust Hammer-rang.
"Are you crazy, you're pretty much worthless if you miss." Firelord queries.
"Yeah, but if I hit I'll be the hero." Steel replies, letting his trusted 'rang fly. Time slows, almost Matrix style, as we follow the hammer through the air. The winds appears to catch it, and it vears slightly to the left. Steel lefts out a bellowing scream, but stops as the hammer seems to regain it's original path, and smashes right into the knees of Carter Hall.
"FROM DOWNTOWN FOR THREE!" Steel hollars as the hammer-rang returns to his hand.
"Three? Are you drunk? That's for four." Firelord scoffs.
"It's a basketball term, idiot. We're not suposed to know about damage in the game. Not that it's a game, mnd you. Not to us." Steel replies.
SLowly, Hall grips his knee and falls.
"Hey, watch this!" calls Doom from the bushes. He jumps out and crushes Hall with his armour-clad foot. "nice work, boys. Now, who's up for frosty chocolate milkshakes?"
The three reamining men leave the battle field victorious, then toast their fallen comrades at the choc'lit shop.
ACTIONS

Steel pushes to attack Carter Hall, rolling a 10(6,4) for four clicks of damage, KOing Hall and ending the game.
