Set four has an "Earth-2" theme, obviously, with the inclusion of the Crime Syndicate and the heroic Luthor. Ambush Bug will be considered as a generic (cheap perplex and healing, maybe?)

i would like to see a unique KC Superman that has the new Unique superman's dial, superman TA, some hypersonic speed and an 8 range. I think that would be the most superman like superman of any I have seen.

i'd also like to see some brother blood troopers and adepts as generics. and some hive guys too.

I agree w/Boneyard, they have to be 96 character sets. If the rabid X-fans couldn't get X-plosion to warrant a 150 set, then no one will. Also, ZappaFrank, I can't see one set including both Captain Cold and Mr. Freeze. As much as I love them both, their dials would be virtually indistinguishable. I have my own ideas on expansions, which follow...

Pig Iron, you just suggested Power Girl, Mary Marvel, and Supergirl in the same set. Is that wise? Variety would be murdered by the similarities between these three. Captain Marvel is in the same set, as well.

I'm not trying to criticize so much as I'm trying to get some conversation going about some of these lists, otherwise this thread might get a little boring.

True, if DC is going to do a 4th or 5th set then it would be wise to hold back some beefier characters. But if the license is only for 3 sets then I say put 'em all out...

If we do get to a 4th set then you still have CM3, Superboy, Captain atom, Hal jordan, Guy Gardner, Big barda, Orion and some others as heavy hitting heroes.....But I suppose you could , for variety as you suggested, put off Powergirl until a later set..maybe JSA centered....

If I left off Power girl then I would replace her with another cult-following character like Vixen or Fire and move another character into the rare slot.....

My friends and I have also been contemplating possibilities for another DC set -- I personally want to see Vandal Savage and Johnny Sorrow as Uniques ASAP, but I have another idea for Superman/Batman, one that may seem a little strange, but I think would be pretty cool.

I doubt they would even consider doing this, but I'd like to see Ultraman and Owlman act as the Superman/Batman Uniques -- it's more of a stretch I grant you, but if they can do a Vampire Bats, why not an Crime Syndicate Owlman Bats?

What do you guys think? I'd love to see all the Crime Syndicate members personally.

I thought XS was in Legion? I haven't seen her in JSA to the best of my knowledge, then again, I never read any of their stuff before the current series.

My biggest want is more Legion, but because of their team ability they'd cost waaaay too much. For example, XS would be a flying wildcard with hypersonic speed, she'd cost Superman point values. Braniac 5? Flying wildcard with outwit and barrier? Dreamer with flying probability control? Mon'el would cost at least 200 points if they did him right. Invisable Kid and Apparition would be quite invaluable. And Ultra Boy? How in hell would you do his dial? Different power every click? Some of them are just totally untransferable to clix, like Sensor, Gates, Triad, Star Boy and Leviathon.

Mostly likely choices would be someone like Ferro, Kid Quantom, Wildfire and probably Mon'el.

I like the ideas for variants: Crime Syndicate and Stan Lee Syndicate would be very cool!

HoleBerry: Batman doesn't have a demon friend. In the past he has worked, reluctantly, with Etrigan the Demon. I believe he has actually fought Etrigan more than fought beside him. Batman does have an O.K. relationship with Etrigan's alter ego, Jason Blood, having invited him into the substitute JLA during the Obsidian Age.

...but you are right: Etrigan would make a clix.

Well the list looks great! Enough Flash-related characters to keep me happy for a LONG time. Only problem is that there are so many cool generics which are possible there's no way they can all be made. Arkham Inmates, Clown Posse, Iron Heights Guards, Gorilla City Gorillas, Atlanteans, so much fun to be had!
