Hello All!
A bunch of us mooks are putting on something that we have appropriately named CLIX CON! If you are anywhere within our neck of the woods or desert depending on your point of view, please come on out to CLIX CON.
The Event will last all day long! June 21, 2003 at 19700 Stevens Creek Blvd., Cupertino, CA 95014. Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. Entry fee will be $10.00 for the whole day to cover the cost of the prize support.
There will be two grand tournaments! The first will be the constructed event. 1ST place will receive VICTOR CREED. The constructed event will be 300 points. There will be no scenarios except that every round will be a ten turn game. This tournament will start at 10:00 a.m. Other prizes will be awarded.
The second tournament will start at approximately 3:00 p.m. 1ST place will receive BRUCE BANNER. This will be a sealed booster event. You must buy 1 booster from each marvel set and form a 300 point team. This is not a draft though. 3 boosters will be $15.00. Other prizes will be awarded.
Don't fret though if you do not make it into finals of the above events. There will be plenty of side events all day long. Tired of Firelord? Well, play in our cheese event. Yes, that's right, you must play a firelord but your prize is a piece of cheese in the middle of the board. Remember Days of Future Past? Well, play in our sentinel event were each sentinel will be carrying an LE figure. Like the side events? Well, there is lots more so come on out to the event.
There will also be some mageknight and mechwarrior events occuring for those who don't like heroclix or are tired of heroclix events. We have something for everyone.
