I am enjoying my play by post match in the Firelord series enough that I thought I would see if anyone wants to start another match. Anyone?
I am open on build totals, etc.
I'll play you a game. I'm fkexable on build totals, so you can choose.

Okay, here's a random team I was thinking of using for a tourney

I was thinking of using two E paramedics or a V or something, but I don'thave em IRL, so I figured why mess with my team.It'll prob get whipped pretty hard, but it's worth a shot. Good luck, and my e-mail is PMin itself to ya now.

As it is posted on CCTelander's resource page, I'll take the East side. It has 2 buildings and is the side that ends with the W and X columns.
So you get 2 heavy and 1 light object and I get 2 light and 1 heavy?

1-24 is reversed on the maps... how you wanna work it out?

I went to creationmatrix and it isn't letting me look at the maps even though I am registered there.
On CCTelander's map, the building in the upper left hand corner is the one surrounded by bushes and trees. Right?
His numbering starts in that corner with A24. Are you saying that corner is X1 on the creation matrix map?
Yes, A1 is X24 and X24 is A1

The one I am looking at has the rows numbered 24 to 1 and the columns A to X, but I can change that up however you want.

A couple of map questions.
Which buildings can the non-flyers stand on?
The trucks are all non-elevated hindering terrain, correct?

Not a problem if you don't. Every now and then would be good though.
First off, that's an awesome position. Very defensible. You would have kicked my ### if we played in a tournament. I have seriously spent an hour trying to figure out how to attack it.
My first move is Rogue will taxi Wolverine to D18 landing at D17. Shadowcat will taxi Storm to C18 landing at C17.

Just a reminder if you are going to attack sometime soon: Prof X has a 16 defence with defend, so everyody in an adjecent square gets to share it, plus a hindering if they have it plus any defence super powers if they have it. Stole this ploy from my Black Spiderman team.

I am going to assume that it is. If not, then you are just getting a sneak preview of my strategy.
Time for a little fun.
First move is Shadowcat move from C17 to K12 taxiing Rogue and placing her at L12. Rogue then charges Mandarin ending up at Q12. Rogue also taxis Shadowcat placing her at Q11.
I'll roll for the attack and then post the rest of my turn. I need a 6 to hit (10 vs 16)
Well, that messed me up pretty hard... for the entire game. Hopefully I can bounce back pretty quickly... ignore the PM i'm posting now :) Give me a bit to figure something out
Good news for the X-Men. I rolled a 9 so that's 3 clicks on Mandarin.
I finish my turn by moving Storm to L14 taxiing Wolverine and placing him on the object at M14.
My final positions are:

For some reason, my latest post got put ABOVE your last one if you missed it
SWAT will take a shot at Rogue, and since she is flying and there are no opposing ground characters next to him he will do three damage if he hits (1 after invul). Roll coming your way, need to roll a 7.
Rolled an 8 with two 4's, so Rogue takes one click of damage and moves back to P12.
Prof X will try to mind control Shadowcat, needing to roll an 8 and then Supersenses if he hits... dice roll comin.
Only rolled a 4, so it misses. One more action left.
Bullseye will attack Storm, needing to roll an 8 because of hindering... wow, always an 8! This sucks for me! Anyways, one more dice roll comin.
Rolled a 10 with two 5's, so Storm suffers three clicks of damage plus she is knocked back to I15.
The rest of the guys clear. Nice move BTW... hope I can retaliate.
Nice moves, but I am pretty sure that Bullseye doesn't have line of sight to Storm. Since Storm is directly behind Wolverine, you have to look at the diagonals and Bullseye is definitely beyond the diagonals.
Sorry, I had read your post wrong and placed Storm one behind and one to the right of Wolverine. Sorry bout that, my bad. I'll redo my last turn
Do you want to go ahead and take a different action? If you still think Bullseye has line of sight, feel free to ask a judge.
For any other actions, just be sure to follow the diagonals since your guys are all lined up next to each other. For instance, neither Bullseye or White Queen can see Rogue (even after the knockback) because they are beyond the diagonal.
Well, Mandarin is going to hopefully roll a 9 and hit Shadowcat, then a supersenses roll will go your way if I hit (i wish i saved that 10 right now :P) Dice roll comin.
No need to redo the entire turn, you can just go back and redo your third action.

That knockback provides an interesting opportunity. Storm is going to push and move to T12 taxiing Wolvering to S12. Wolverine is going to b/c/f attack Mandarin needing a 4 to hit.
The to hit roll was 2,6 for an 8. Hopefully I get a good damage roll.

Finally, Rogue is going to push ard charge Mandarin ending up back at Q12.
I guess not everything can go my way. I rolled a 5 to miss the attack and Rogue is pushed (as was Storm).
Yep, I could prob call game now. Mandarin was a big part with his outwit and RCE throughout his click.
For your turn, keep in mind that if you follow the diagonals, only Mandarin and SWAT specialist can see my team.
TedO - Your call, but I'd be happy to play it out if you want.
One suggestion though would be to replace your second medic and the SWAT Specialist with a cheap flyer. Then when the opposition gets base to base with you like I did, you can more easily counter attack.

First things first, I'd better try to finish off Mandarin before you start inflicting major pain on my team.
Wolverine will push to b/c/f attack Mandarin needs a 4 to hit.
The to hit roll was a 4,4 (8). So knowback will be involved. Next comes the damage.
Excellent, a 6 for damage and that is the end of Mandarin. Things might get a little tricky for you know without the mobility.
Shadowcat will move onto the object vacated by Mandarin at R13.
Psylocke will move onto the object at K16.
BTW - I think that White Queen doesn't have LOS to Shadowcat from there.
Hey, could you post a list of positions and clixs damage... the wife decided to go window-close happy on me and closed the windows with my play info. From now on whenever I leave the comp I'm going to save em. Thanks.

Prof X will try to MC Shadowcat. Roll coming your way, then I'll just wait for a SS roll if it hits. Got to roll an 8.
Prooving that if it wasn't for bad luck, I wouldn't have any luck at all... I roll a 4. So, the Prof misses his MC on Shadowcat.
White Queen will push to try and MC Rogue. Need to roll a 4, die roll comin.
White Queen gets a 4, just controlling Rogue. Rogue will try to attack Shadowcat. Note that if she hits she will get one click of healing b/c of steal energy. Dice roll coming, need to roll a 9.

No doubt, eh? And odn't mind this post... I just like to have the last post if I made a move, that way all I have to do is look and see if the last one is made by you. Yes, that's right, I'm lazy. And take your time gettin turns up. No rush... at least, I'm not in one.
Not much going on this turn. First Storm is going to blast your E Paramedic at S13 with RCE. She needs a 5 to hit for 4.

My other move is to move my paramedic on the building to D17. Everyone else clears. Your turn.

Originally, I was thinking about running back to my medic and then returning for the slaughter, but that's no fun. So, instead I'll press the attack and see where that leads me.
First, Shadowcat flys around in a big circle again landing on R13, but taxiing Wolverine over to S14.
Wolverine then does a b/c/f attack on Prof. X needing a 5 to hit.
Some nice rolls by Wolverine puts Prof X on his heals. A seven to hit and a 4 for damage.
Next, Storm will push to try and take out the SWAT specialist. She needs a 6 to hit and KO him.
She rolls exactly a 6 and hits the SWAT Specialist for 4 taking him out of the game. She is exhausted by her efforts and is pushed.

Rogue flies from Q11 to J16 behind Psylocke for a much need breather. Psylocke takes a shot at Bullseye needing a seven to hit and everyone else clears.

If it's alright with you, I'd like to concede. I have no chance of winning, really, and besides, the tournament I was practicing for has come and gone now. If you want to play again, I need to work up a 100 pt team for this weeks tourney.
Not a problem. How did your tournament go? Did you use the same team or make some modifications?
I'll play you in a 100pt game. I actually have a 400pt veterans only tourney coming up this Friday. Any suggestions?

E Hercules 67 pts
I'd rather play the first team, but if you think it would be more of a challenge to beat the second one, I'd play them also.
The tourney went alright, got second (but think there was a bit of a scandle with the judge and one of the guys who was playing and I actally got third). And I changed it so I had ahand ninja and taskmaster instead of a coupel of shooters and a taxi.
I'll start a new post for the game with my army once I get it. And you can play either team.
As for the tourney 400 pts vets, what kind of team are you trying to build? I always liked Vet Mandarin, even though he's almost half the build total. V Con Artists could help with a few perplexes at a cheap rate, too. It depends what you're trying to do.
