Booster's costume ain't that bad. Those oversized googles gotta go, but the costume is ok. And my man Hyde is wearing a green Tux, he's a fashion genius. :laugh:

Seriously though, have you guys looked at changeling? Go to your box, and dig for that guy, take a good look at him, and then tell me you wouldn't mind wearing that costume? That fake-blood red is absolutely awful.

And I know these guys aren't exactly super heroes, but...

those aim agent/medics must get paid mucho cash to slip into those mustard/diarreah colored suits.

Even the Vision was messed up by Byrne. Thank goodness he's back to his original costume.

Modernizing characters is okay, even necessary. In the X-Men's case new costumes were paramount to their progress as individuals. Iron Man has changed as he's perfected his suit or built new suits for unusual occasions. But what the heck was that red and silver thing? I almost cried when I couldn't say "Golden Avenger" any more. There is something to be said for staying true to your roots.

Dumbest costume... Mandarin = big red butt.

Or maybe Hawkeye’s bad decision, even other heroes said he should go back to his classic costume. We’re all very happy he listened.

In my own opinion it is Punisher. I like him as a character and all but you think the guys at Marvel coulda thought of something a little more complex than just a balck shirt with a skull on it. Thats my own opinion though.

The punisher doesnt wear a costume. The skull is his symbol, used to scare the bejebus at of the bad guys. Yes, marvel did have him in spandex for a while, but look at his current comic, he is badass.

Okay, I want to first state that I am not deeply offended by this statement in anyway, because I'm not a major dork.

The Punisher's costume is classic. It's eye-catching and iconic, and immediately sums up the character for most people. And the skull is both cool looking and functional. It's bullet proof, and it instills fear into the hearts of superstitious, cowardly criminals. Plus, why would a street-level vigilante who relies on stealth and needs to remain highly mobile at all times, wear a big, complex, clunky superhero outfit?

Oh, and I can't stress this enough: Gambit already has the all-time worst costume. This thread is therefore irrelevant.

And as far as Superman, or the "undies on the outside" comments, all Superheroes did/do that. Some just match better. (They drew Daredevil for a while with red undies over red spandex.)

Gambit's costume really never bothered me, dont know why...

As for clix, Leader and Blob or as I call them - the Boobie Brigade - are definately the worst by far.

As for comics - there are a bunch. First, Robin and Batman from the silver age...I saw their costumes on the History channel and they were definately having butt sex on the side if you know what I mean. Second is daredevil - but youre right, he cant see it so its not his fault. Third is Undies on the outside guys - Underwear are supposed to be worn by their very name - under the clothes. No one wants to see supes package like that anyways.

Anyone else old enough to remember spandex biker shorts? You remember that uncomfortable feeling of exposure that you had anytime you wore them? How 'bout that unseemly, wierd, 'low-crotch' thing they did ... where the crotch of the pants pulled itself taut about an inch and a half lower than your actual crotch?

Now, imagine wearing a costume made entirely of that material and going out to try to inspire fear and fight crime.

See, I think that wearing that extra layer of fabric on the outside helps get rid of a lot of the laughter you'd get from hardened criminals looking at you with silly 'low crotch' thing.

But, maybe that's just me.
