Y'know, I was dissapointed when I heard the John Stewart was the sendaway GL of Inquest. Are there any plans to make the entire Green Lantern Corp. ?
not to my knowledge, but a kyle will probably be made. an alan will be made in the next DC expansion, which will be JSA themed.

Where did you hear the next set focuses on the JSA? Any clue on the release schedule for set 3?

I think they may be done theming expansions. Cosmic Justice was clearly themeless, in any meaningful sense. Xplosion was the only strongly themed one. If Clobberin' Time was Fantastic Four themed, then Hypertime was Batman themed; there's actually a marginally higher proportion of Batman-related figures in Hypertime than FF figures in Clobberin' Time.
the first sets arnt themed. infinity challenge wasnt. neither was hypertime. and i am just guessing that the next set is JSA themed, considering that there are so many unmade JSA guys. dr mid-nite, star-spangled kid, mr terrific, sentinal, hawkgirl, black adam, director bones, extant, roulette, sand, and numorous others.

I didn't think it would be completely GL related. I was more thinking along the lines of what we got, some pretty darn cool Justice League goodies and baddies.
PEACE!!!

Well, the first set WAS themed. Infinity Challenge was based on the Infinity Gauntlet series. It had a wide variety of heroes and Thanos too. I can't really tell you what the theme was for Hypertime, but I am sure there was one.
Infinity Challenge was about the Infinity Gauntlet pretty much and time travel or something to explain the rookie, experienced and veteran versions of characters which represented different eras of their career.
Hypertime is similar but it's more about just pulling similar characters from different realities or something.

I don't get why everyone's so down on Jon Stewart. I like him as a Green Lantern.
But, even if you don't like Stewart, you should be glad that he's the only GL so far. That way Wizkids can use him as the guinea pig to gauge how future GLs should be done so they are made properly and don't wreck the balance of the game.

I/C was Infinity Gauntlet? I am not being a flame boy here, but where was Adam Warlock, Silver Surfer, Pip the troll, Namor, Mephisto, Death, Drax, Nick Fury, Eros, Dr Doom, Cloak, Dagger, etc, etc. . .
To me, it seems that a lot of the sets are at best slightly organized around a theme. I/C, C/T and X/P all have an organizing idea but I don't see them as being too closely related to a series.
But I think as an overall system, this game rocks in what you can do with what has been released. A lot of it is just a blast. Bottom line: I don't let the name of the set determine what i think of it.
What do you think about the playability of the set and how does it complement what has been released?
I'm not saying that Infinity Challenge had anything to do with the Infinity Gauntlet series,I'm just saying that they are using the gauntlet as a vehicle to pull heroes from differant eras of their careers and bring them into a big slug fest.
there isnt a "pulling the charecters" thing, lilj. they just call them r, e, and v to a have weak, medium, and strong, there isnt any aspect of time in there. they just needed a logical explination for the 3 rankings.
and for a jsa-themed set name? how about "golden vengence"?
Riiight, actually it usualy does have to do with time, most noticebly with the team abilities. The most obvious example is Storm, her experienced version was totaly weak because it represented when she lost her powers.
I love it when I'm right.
