I see no struggle for leadership in this group. No need to shuffle anyone. At this time I represent our Emperor, Doom.

Suggested rules of Clan competition.

25% of team must be comprised of your team you may have 1 member from any other team on your force. (ie. As a MoD you must have 25% MoD characters, you can add a brotherhood, an Avenger, a MoE, etc but only one from each. )

I think the pure clan play would be unfairly leveraged to a non wildcard team especially one who hides in shadows and takes no risk in order to do combat against the Minions of Lord Doom.

What point total will we be playing? Will we keep it straight Marvel Vs. DC (my personal preference as I don not play mixed games. I play both Marvel and DC but not mixed on the same team. I have no problem taking Marvel against DC though.

You should know that out of 65+ online games I have only lost 3 times. In the real I am a decent player but not quite as good as I am against the mooks who typically play online.

Nightwing I accept your challenge and will take you on tommorrow or Thursday at your preference.

I am having your official membership card drawn up as we speak. You will require it after we are done playing. :)

On another note the unaffiliated clan is letting members have multiple memberships and is thus no longer recogonized by our clan house.

I find there open door policy and motto contradictory to the point of this recruitment drive.

Ontapmedia, I have once again made alliance offers to the Sentinel Collective and the MOE Clan. Unfortunately, I sense a decision. I fear we must choose either the Sentinels or the Brotherhood, because they can't work together. I think the Sentinels will be a greater asset, but the choice is Doom's. Also, on the Bat Team thread, I thought I saw you offer membership to them. They are a squadron of good, and I hope I'm mistaken. I wait for your directions and answer to how to solve the Brotherhood/Sentinel problem.

I would also suggest before reporting to R&D for training strippers that you look into an upgrade to your dictionary and grammar programming. We want to represent our Lord Doom in the best possible light. There is no urbanspeak or cyberspeak in Lavertia.

And, you might want to consider sticking to one clan at first. Baby steps before using those boot jets built into the armor. I suggest trying your motivational recruitment speeches on Clan Lazy. Drunk people are pretty easy to recruit. The pirates did it, why can't we?

Online games for Clan wars will be approved by the Clan head. Games played with out the Approval of the participating Clan heads will be treated as a fun game and not as a Clan War game.

I am due for three games yet to be agreed for by Team Batman

Mr. Fibble, Batman1983 and Nightwing 16 have all been issue challenges and I am awaiting thier acceptance.

Regarding the new CLAN threads.

For the time being, the CLAN threads are welcome on HCR.
But please follow these rules:

First and foremost, these are just for fun and camaraderie. There is no competition to see who can have more members. You join whatever one(s) you enjoy and that is that.

As such, flaming, aggravating, or posting any obnoxious remarks to other ‘clan’ threads will not be tolerated.

Do not post “join ‘X’ clan instead, we’re cooler…” You are each your own entity and what the others do does not involve you.

And these are not exclusive. Anyone who wants can join any clan they like. These are not little boys tree house clubs.

Keep the thread on topic. If these become hang out threads with no substance they’ll be moved to Another Realm or removed altogether.

Try to be proactive in the HeroClix community. There is already enough complaining and flaming going on in this board. Try to contribute something by being a ‘clan.’ Honor your roots by posting interesting teams and strategies. Write short articles about the game, share fun moments from your own games and tournaments. All around be creative.
And basically be an upbeat and positive force to counteract all the negativity on the board.

If you all can do this, then these Clans will be great new addition to HCR!

I haven't really read many of the clan threads, so I can't claim to know which ones are supposed to be serious and which ones aren't. But I do know they have completely taken over the General discussion area of the Board and something had to be said.
If this really is just a place to hang out and goof off, then it belongs in a single thread in the Another Realm forum.

Additionally, you and many others may just be having fun with it, and that's all good. But there have been FAR too many obnoxious, angry, and rude posts to various clan threads of people dissing one and insisting theirs is best. This doesn't promote anything on the board other than discourse. So that had to be addressed as well. It could just be a case of a few bad apples spoiling the bunch, but with litterally a dozen different clans at 3 or more pages per thread, I just do not have the time to go through each one to see what the deal is.
Therefor the blanket statement had to be made. Sorry if it sounds like I'm trying to spoil your fun, I am not. Rather I'm just trying to keep the board a friendly fun place in general and maybe rally something out of this new fad.

I'm sorry you feel you are being mistreated, but you are not. I hold no ill will towards these clans, I'm just trying to help keep the realms running smoothly.
The Another Realm forum is for threads that don't fit in other forums.
General Discussion is for HeroClix talk specifically. When someone posts "Hey, look at my team!" in GD, it gets moved to the Team section because that is where it belongs. This stuff here belongs in Another Realm if its just a 'hang out' thread.

People misinterpret the GD section as the only discussion area, but it is not. Another Realm is widely used and enjoyed. Even if you don't go there often.

Your acusation that you're being given the brush off is kind of dissapointing. Especially since I'm trying to make this work for you while at the same time, not submitting all the users of the realms to these endless clan threads that you clearly say have no relevent content.

Be bitter if you like, but there's nothing bad happening here, just your interpretation of it.
