I would say that neither clan belongs to the other. But members of the GLC can belong to the JLA (and vice versa). Anybody willing to fight evil's might, is right in my book.

Regarding the new CLAN threads.

For the time being, the CLAN threads are welcome on HCR.
But please follow these rules:

First and foremost, these are just for fun and camaraderie. There is no competition to see who can have more members. You join whatever one(s) you enjoy and that is that.

As such, flaming, aggravating, or posting any obnoxious remarks to other ‘clan’ threads will not be tolerated.

Do not post “join ‘X’ clan instead, we’re cooler…” You are each your own entity and what the others do does not involve you.

And these are not exclusive. Anyone who wants can join any clan they like. These are not little boys tree house clubs.

Keep the thread on topic. If these become hang out threads with no substance they’ll be moved to Another Realm or removed altogether.

Try to be proactive in the HeroClix community. There is already enough complaining and flaming going on in this board. Try to contribute something by being a ‘clan.’ Honor your roots by posting interesting teams and strategies. Write short articles about the game, share fun moments from your own games and tournaments. All around be creative.
And basically be an upbeat and positive force to counteract all the negativity on the board.

If you all can do this, then these Clans will be great new addition to HCR!

As a member of the GLC, I do not want to cause any problems, I just want to fight evil.

Okay. We have been officially moved to Another Realm. I would like to keep this thread alive though. So to spark conversation, who would you cast in a GL movie?

Hal Jordan - Harrison Ford (He needs to get back to serious action rolls).
Guy Gardner - Colin Farrel (He's crazy enough to play him right, but might be too young) otherwise John C. McGinley from Scrubs
John Stewart - Will Smith
Kyle Raynor - Not too familiar with Kyle, but I think Josh Hartnett might be good.

You might be right, but I think Hollywood would rather have Will Smith over Lawrence Fishburne. Smith usually makes big box office, while Fishburne is usually in big box office movies, but does not necessarily make them on his own.

It's kind of hard to explain but before Hal died, he helped John realize that a handicap that didn't allow him to walk was just a physical side effect of a mental block. John was out of action until Kyle's co-worker, Terry Berg, was attacked by a group of goons in a hate crime (Terry was attacked because he is gay). Kyle went seeking justice ala Batman & decided that he'd lost his faith in the goodness of humanity so he went to outer space with Jade. Kyle gave John a replacement ring for the one that John turned in when he quit (It seems that Kyle's ring can make duplicates) & asked him to take on fill-in duties as Green Lantern for Earth & the JLA.

I received my Phasing Green Lantern yesterday!!! I don't think I'll win any tourneys with him, but he looks like a lot of fun to play with. I am trying to figure out a 300 and 400 point team to use him on.

If you read the recent article about making a MoE team on WizKids.om, you'll see that he built his team by using a mix of MoE & support characters to get the Masters into position. While there are only 8 Injustice League figures compared to 16 Moe fig's, the IL figures have the advantage of sheer power in Brainiac 13 & Solomon Grundy & the GL gives you the mobility in just 1 figure. Use IL Joker to Perplex Green Lantern's Speed up then move IL Grundy, Brainiac & another IL figure with great damage or attack skills into base to base with the biggest threat on the board. Use Vet Nightwing to Outwit the Defense power then attack with a) Grundy, b) Brainiac 13 & c) Wizard. 9 damage will kill everything in 1 turn except for OWAW Superman, Grundy & Swamp Thing.

I haven't built the full team yet but will post it here when I do.

I am offically putting my hat in to be alternate Green Lantern of sector 1967. So if at any point you are unable to fufill your duties as Green Lantern, I will be able to step in and help out.
Of course if you would like to speed the process along and say move to sector 1966 or 1968 that would be great also.
