I don't exactly know what my dream team would be. I like a lot of different line ups and probably couldn't pick a great one. I have never really been in to Collosus, Shadowcat and Nightcrawler like most people.

Storm vet.
Iceman rook.
Psylocke vet.
Gambit exp.

Kitty flies Storm,gambit and psylocke act as stealthed snipers and Iceman has a dual roll as a taxi for either Gambit and Psylocke or to put up a barrier if Storm gets caught out in the open.All share the X-team ability so no medic needed.I won a 200pt tourney with it but my dice rolls came up BIG!

The X-Men could kick the Avengers @$$. Magneto gets rid of Caps shield and Iron Man totally. All the psychics can just make them fight each other and then the rest can kick their asses while their busy punching their friends.

JLA might be a problem, but looking at their Clan thread they have very little members. Looks good for us!

This is for my clan.I played a 300pt DC tourny last night and went undefeated through 4 rounds at 30 minutes a round with this team:
Boostergold rook.
T.O Morrow LE
hawkman rook.
bane rook.
nightwing vet.
robin vet.
huntress rook.
2x checkmate medic exp,rook.
Booster carried t.o morrow and with his 10 range was ussually the first to strike,basically my medic killer.Robin and huntress took their shots when they could and nightwing was there solely for outwit it seemed.He never got in too many shots but wasnt knocked out of any games either.Hawkman and Bane would come in and murder the first sucker to go for hunttress or robin since they led the team out of the gates.This was my basic strategy and worked really well.Overall the whole night I only lost robin,huntress and my rookie medic in any single game.Prize choices werent the best,TO Morrow,ediie nashton or jervis tetch.I took the riddler since I have the other two.Anyway just thought Id share some of the good news with the X-clan so they dont move our x-clan discussions to another realm .Aloha!

I remember at one of my first tourneys it was 300 pts where you had have every character on your team have the same team ability. And of course I picked the X-Men. Here was what I think my team was:

I wiped the floor with a Batman team first, KOing his E Batman AND V Nightwing pretty fast. Then I beat a Synister Syndacate team barely because of a bad move I made with Nightcrawler late in the game. Then I clocked another Bats and Nights to take home the gold ring LE. Actually, the first guy I played I played the next week in the finals. He had a super cheese team with Firelord and his pals while I had Darkseid and Green Goblin. In the middle of the game (we were playing in the museum) and he noticed we had been shooting through a "wall," the blocking on what I thought was the balcony. After that we played as if it was a wall. Firelord got hit bad by Darkseid, but whenever he tried to heal I'd send over a piece in b2b so he couldn't. Eventually he got frustrated and quit. He's never come back since. It was pretty stupid but oh well.

On a serious note. I've never really heard of two teams in xmen. I've heard of it vaguely in comics and stuff. And the only real knowledge i have of it is from the Marvel trading cards that came out many moons ago, where the team was divided into a blue and gold team like how bishop describes. from what i know, i'm guessing it was so that they could cover more ground or do more stuff since they had grown so large. Anyways, i'll check my cards read up on it and then cast my vote.

Well, you are correct, but he did fight alongside the X-Men in the ShadowKing saga, and was a member of the Havk-led X-Factor for a year or so thereafter, and has most recently been a part of Banshee's failed X-Corps, and the Xavier Corporation's European office (fighting weapon XII in the Chunnel).

I think it might be cool to (slowly) fan the Prof. and Emma out to be a two-headed Mind-control monster (maybe with the Hydra guy boosting Emma's AV). all the while Jean tosses Wolvie and Beast into the mix for close combat, and then uses TK'd objects or straight 12 range attack to reinforce from the rear. What would most likely kill the team is lack of mobility (only 6 characters on a 400pt team, and only 1 flyer), but I'd love to try it nonetheless.

X-Men Evolution is a show I used to love and watch avidly, but now I like sleeping much later then the time it's on. It was a cool TV show but the original 90's show was a lot better then it, and was also one of the best super hero cartoons I have ever seen.

four_winds, I like the first team the most. Catgirl doesn't look very good but I could be wrong. In a game where taxieing (however you spell it) is hurt, Batman and stealth is very powerful. The second team would also be a possibility, but I like the first team more. Good

Now worries man. I have the same problem. I finally got to see the end of the season though. It was good too. Mystique blew up the mansion, Scarlet Witch foiled Magneto's plan, and the whole world now knows about the X-Men. Best of all the Sentinel's are finally here.

Voting business. I think he should be allowed to join. If you all remember in the old Xmen cartoon he was in like 2 eps where he had come to get professor x's help when he was turning into man spider. And then in the actual spiderman cartoon beast and wolverine were in 2 or 3 episodes to stop some guy (i forget for what reason, but there were in there). And again during the Secret Wars during the cartoon series, before they stopped making new eps, spiderman picked wolverine or storm (someone from xmen for sure) as part of his team to travel to that red planet or whatever it was.
So I say yes, he should be allowed to join. I mean like why not

Xmen Evolution business. Yeah i think Apocalypse will be in the new series. Cuz i remember seeing an ep where rogue acting strange or something like that. Anyways at the end of the ep Mystique met with that blind woman she always meets with, and the blind woman said something about a mutant far more powerful than rogue, and that he was the oldest one or something. The point is she was talking about Apocalypse. It should be good to see what next season is like.

I disagree with the spidey decision. Nothing personal, just was never an X-man, more like an acquaintance. He is going to guest staring in the next six issue's of Ultimate X-men, in a storyline called "Blockbuster". It's written by Brian Michael Bendis (Ultimate Spider-Man), so if you are an arachnid supporter you might want to check that out.

And about X-men Evolution. I do believe a large chunk of this upcoming season will be devoted to Apocolypse. In the last episode Mesmaro(Mesmoro) tricked Magneto into destroying the guardian of the second sealed door (of three) of Apocolypse's tomb. He had used Jean Grey to help him open the first in a different episode.

The end of Season 2 was the episode of which you speak. Season three started where that episode left off, lots of finding team members who were captured, the kids being kicked out (then readmitted to Bayville High), stopping Juggernaut to show the world that all mutants aren't bad, rebuilding the school, and so on.
The last couple of episodes of Season 3 are the ones I referred to.

Jean grey rook.
boom-boom exp.

gambit vet.
Psylocke vet.
wolfsbane vet.
Paramedic vet.
Jean TK's two rounds in a row throwing out cyc and gambit if anyone comes within range.Wolfsbane heals her and gains her good click.After the rumble has started jean uses tk to throw wounded figs back to the medic or to toss the medic in to heal.This is the short version but I think most of you will see where Im going with this team.

Team#2 300pts.
Cyclops vet.
Gambit vet.
beast vet.
nightcrawler unique
paramedic rook.
This team is smaller and much more straight forward.Gambit leads the charge and hides who he can with stealth.When were in range of the enemy beast and gambit perplex cyc's R/S to a four damage and he'll take his shot when he can.Next round perplex nightcrawler and let the hypersonic beating commence.Beast also has charge so I have 3 X-men who can move and deal damage with that action.Gambit will be my stealthed sniper with energy explosion or straight damage depending on the situation.

In regards to Evo, I think one of the first ones is where Spyke has some kid wanting to become his friend just to fight some bully. Spyke flips and we all learn a important message...don't pess off a mutant! I think the next one is the intro of the Morlocks (hmm, we need more Morlocks too) where some company like Powerade is having a skateboarding contest and Spyke is in it. When Spyke drinks the stuff it triggers his mutant powers and he tears up the stands. He then teams up with the Morlocks to take out the factory and in the end joins them until he can be comfortable with his now out of control powers (and attitude). I can't remember much after that but I hope that helps. PS has anyone made a Spyke? I'm trying to reproduce the fight with the Brotherhood and the X-men with the Sentinel. Thanks!

Yeah I think you got the unique since the Le doesnt have Lockheed on her arm and it would say "Kitty Pryde"on the base instead of shadowcat.As for online gaming you should ask our leader dj_sha,he played one a little while ago and can take you throught the steps to play,heck,he'll probably want to play you himself.
