Essentially, what I'd like to start is a storyboard starring our favorite heroes. This consists of picking your hero (First come First served. Once ED209 picks Batman BUBBALOVE can't pick Batman, so real all previous posts)
Step two consists of bringing the group together. As moderator I would write the first story, that brings us together. Also, the person involved that's been on the forums the longest would be team leader.
Step Three would be the adventure. Now that our group of heroes is chosen, we would take turns posting from the perspective of our character. This means that we can write about our battle and even write in that JOESCHMOE's char helps us, but no writing the outcome of other people's battles or 'pulling Superman in front of you to take the Omega Beam blast'
I'm debating as to whether or not at this point let some people play the villains. They'd have to realize that the heroes will win in the end.
This would be ongoing as long as there's interest. If you pick an obscure char, explane who/what he/she is and what he/she does. Being mainstream for the most part, Hellboy is obscure to me :)
By the way, no God characters, like Thanos, Adam Warlok, Surfer, or Spectre. Thor and Supes are the power caps.
My character pick is the Martian Manhunter (silver age where he's basically a superman who has fun extra powers)
