This new format sounds very restricted.
Aww..... no Junior like Marvel, still looks good though.

Is this true! They have Sandra Wu-San as a Green Lantern on the www.wizkidsgames.com site. A GL that doesn't fly? I think its an error.

Bahahaha, she is on both the GL team, AND unaffiliated! I must say, quite an interesting combination.

Are all tournaments going to be 200 points from now on?

Unless they force us to do 200, I'm not doing it. That's ridiculous.
Who got this information? I haven't seen it on the envoy info at WizKids.com

I just found out where it came from.... nevermind. :)

4-eyes only has two clicks of support? That's so cheap. And he's 19 freakin points, might as well spend one less point and get the veteran. I thought LE's were supposed to be slightly better? Maybe his stats are slightly good but still, I wouldn't ever use him. I don't know, all the Easy Company Medics kind of disappoint me...

Sandra Wu-San is NOT a GL. Cosmic Justice has been rife with errors and oversights. It is simply an error on the website. The only team affiliation she has is as a rookie with the Bat-man enemy team. With Cosmic Justice, it's just easier to look at the actual fig to see what's up.

only thing that four eyes has goin for him over any of the other medics is a slightly better range...i'd rather spend an extra point an get a V medic that can heal for more clicks with better stats all around. I hope wizkids isn't slowly diggin themselves a hole in the tourny scene with this new format of prize givin.

LE's are not made to be better just different then they normally are.

I dunno 200 point tourneys? sounds kinda restrictive like the other guy said... and the prizes don't scream wow! too com pared to Jane Foster or Tabitha Smith.... Hope they don't do the same with marvel.... and for Cosmic Justice 4 le's? they should add more...

Those are dumb... but better than nothing I suppose.

Well Sandra Wu-san is the only decent one out of the lot. If the GL thing at the main site is an error she is still an ok fighter. If she really is GL, she teams up with rookie Livewire for a 60pts to get the GL Corps Carrying ability. That is 21 points cheaper than Rookie GL. The two of them would definately send Jon Stuart back to the Daily Show where he belongs!
ok my question is ' is the pre constructed prizes' the marquee prizes or does anyone know what those will be?

Marquee prizes are:
1st place: Oswald Cobblepot, a.k.a Penguin
2nd place: Olvier Queen, a.k.a Green Arrow

So not fair.... I want them both, but I can't decide... Well try to win one then shell out for the other ebay style...

My brother is going in for the 1st place, then I am trying for the 2nd place.

If my brother weren't out of state then I'd be heavily scooling him in the art of Heroclix for the next couple of weeks... I do have cousins... no thats just not going to fly... Good prosperity to you (& your bro) Spider_Cide!
and for Cosmic Justice 4 le's? they should add more...
There are more, those are just the ones they're sending out in August.
If you check ebay there are several CJ LEs that were given out at WWE/Origins including Manhunter 2.0, Yrra Cynril, Zatanna Zatara, and Little Sure Shot. The units section currently has stats for 11 CJ LEs, not counting GL/Atom/Plastic Man.
err . . . just one stupid question : how am i going to use my 200+ point figures in these events??? =) no way i'm going to get one of those anyway , just asking :)

It's funny how you guys will complain about everything ;) I'm happy to get some new DC LEs. The old ones are great, but I've got doubles of several already and just end up trading them away. This is one reason many don't like coming to the DC events, same old, same old. Now, with Cosmic Justice, we get a whole new dynamic to DC games. New LEs will add another reason to come to tournaments. It's about time. BTW I think the new LEs are good alternatives to what was in the set. Eddie Carlin is a great taxi for another Superman Enemy figure especially if they have Mastermind (i.e. Lex Luthor), and the rest are great if your crunching points and can't afford the Vet/Exp version of those figures.
So, wait a second. Those are the prizes being sent out for those specific tournaments and only for the month of August?
So, you have a city like mine where you've only got one venue that actually runs tournaments. And you can only have one tournament from each 'universe' per month per WizKids rules.
So, if our venue decided to run a sealed-booster tourney, then there's no chance that I'll ever even see Eddie Carlin or Garth Ranzz except on eBay? Or, I could drive three hours to possibly play at a venue that's been known for not actually running tournaments when they're scheduled? What?!
WizKids has been doing stuff to crack down on venues and crooked judges who were selling the LEs on eBay rather than running tourneys and giving them out as prizes. How does this new policy do anything but encourage the eBay peddlers to continue hawking the LEs so that collectors can get them to complete their sets?! What exactly are they thinking?!
I'm almost starting to dislike WizKids as much as I dislike Games Workshop. I'm not quite into the white-hot hatred that I have for GW yet, but it's getting close ...

Read carefully first, complain second - note the line "LE's may show up again in different tournament format types."
Considering the entire Marvel line for August are just the same Xplosion LE's as before, I think the "may" in this case means "will likely".
I don't agree with the event type specific prize support (I tend to play sealed only, cuts down on the cheese factor a bit). But I see no evidence that these LE's are limited time availability only, or that the event type specific prize support is anything more than a trial run of the concept.

You can have up to 5 HeroClix events per venue. 2 DC (sealed and head 2 head), 2 Marvel (ditto) and 1 Junior event. I'm having 4 at one venue and 5 at another in August. It's going to be a busy month!

whaaaa? only that per month? if that's the case my venue will a event once per week while most of the time it has 2 per week man this is lame...
