what's the character limit on posts?

Hello,

I have to make a very big post about selling my clix, what is the most characters that I can have on my post? Does that include spaces? If you can help out, I would appreciate it.

I think its 1000 characters, but not sure if spaces count...

It's a 1000 for PM's (personal messages), but I think it's much higher for posts.

Although this doesn't exactly answer your question:

My suggestion would be to type up your post in a text editor, then copy and paste it into the post box. If it doesn't fit, delete half of it, try again, and post the rest as a reply.

Thanks for everybody's help. My post was 2700 and something characters. It went through fine. So it must be a pretty big limit.
