Saturday, July 19th at 3pm EST at Dicehead Games in Cleveland, TN (see www.dicehead.com for driving directions)

Winner takes home a CASE of Cosmic Justice Boosters!!
(48 Boosters)

The tournament will be 500 point Constructed
Entry Fee will be $20

The following House Rules will be in effect:

Mixed HC: Your force may contain DC figs, Marvel figs, or both. Figures may be from the Cosmic Justice expansion.

Marvel Wildcards may not use DC team abilities. i.e. Spiderman Team and Minions of Doom Team may not use Team abilities of friendly DC figs.

No Medics: You may not field any figure with the word “medic” in its name. Paramedic counts. Also, no Tia Senyaka, Scientist Supreme, or other LE versions of medics. (this is due to poplular request--so that the games will be more action packed.)

No Dupes: Your force may only contain one copy of a named fig. i.e. You can only have one Sinestro, Superman, Daredevil, etc. in your force no matter the rarity. Any Wolverine and Logan are dupes, two Sentinels are Dupes, and LE and non-LE versions of the same character are dupes. However, you MAY have multiple non-named figs i.e. S.H.E.I.L.D Agent, Vampire Lackey, Gotham Policeman, etc. Example: of Joey the Snake, Knuckles and Thug, none are duplicates of one another. Thug is non-named and Joey and Knuckles are named, but not the same character. Joey and Knuckles are still unique though, so you can only have one of each.

Sounds like a great idea, good luck....

Question for you ...like your no dupes rule, we ue that where i play, but how do you figure Sentinels being a nmed figure, this is no one Sentinel that the rest were based on....Sentinels when they attack always are in groups of more than one, but ohterwise wish i lived near ou would love to give it a shot.......

And also like you Wildcard rule, does it work the other way as well , Legion can't use any Marvel team abiliites, and can you use Characters with support such as Dr Strange and Thomas Oscar Morrow?

Thanks

yeah, also, do the doombots count as generic figs for you?

1. I forget how we arrived at counting Sentinels as named figs. I think it was out of gameplay concern, but I'll bring it up at the tourney and see if anyone wants to change it.

2. D'oh. Yeah, you're right. Last time we did this, there WERE'NT any Legion figs. Lemme update the post.

3. Yes, you can use Dr. Strange and other non-medic support characters. This was originally decided on so that there would be less trouble with maybe newbies using figs like Cap without realizing he had support, but I'm beginng to think it would be simpler to just say "No Support." Hmm, maybe next time.

3. Yes, Doombots are generic. Why wouldn't they be?

Thanks for the questions. Everytime I post our house rules, I end up refining them thanks to all you guys.

Well if you make doombots generic then it should follow that Sentinels are generic as well due to both being robots, one group is just BIGGER than the other...

but i could see were someone would have a problem taking on 5 100 pts Sentinels , 60 clicks is a lot to do in a short amount of time....

**UPDATED WILDCARD HOUSE RULE**

Marvel Wildcards may not use DC team abilities, and DC Wildcards cannot use Marvel Team abilities. i.e. Spider-Man Team and Minions of Doom Team may not use Team Abilities of friendly DC figs, and Legion of Superheroes figs may not use the Team Abilities of any friendly Marvel figures in play.
