The Unique version of this character features her in her swimsuit (after ditching that distracting oxygen tank), so she has the aquatic speed mode. She’s an action hero with a brain, so she tends to sneak around (until things go wrong) and outsmart her opponents, reflected in this case by a couple clicks of Stealth and some Outwit early on in her dial. Her defense value isn’t that high but with a helping of Super Senses she has a better chance of being able to avoid some hits when they come her way. Her team ability should also allow her to avoid some attacks. Her combat values reflect a normal human with a lot of training and natural ability, so nothing too out of the ordinary.</TD></TR></TABLE>

Not necessarily. The skrull/danger girl team ability prevents a character from being targeted, before the attack role. Supersenses is done after the attack role is made. She gets two chances to avoid harm. Cool

Question..Is Indyclix a separate tourney like Marvel and DC or is it compatible? When you're building a 300 point Marvel team for a tournament, can you include Indyclix characters? Just curious.

Seems like there will be a small amount of figures considering thats a Unique and at #90. Uniques usually are at the end of the set/.

Yah yah, and I'm betting you were "thrilled" her Unique is the swimsuit. Thats the dumbest idea for a Unique I've heard. "She wore a bathing suite in this one issue, lets make her aquatic!" Maybe thats why the Elektra in black from IC was Unique as well, it was her swisuit.
SHHH! The last thing they need is an excuse to put another Elektra in the next set!
Swimsuit Elektra with Aquatic Move!!!!! *Gag* Honestly, it's getting to be worse than Barbie. Sorry, I realize this isn't the right thread to go on about multiple Elektras. Back to Indyclix discussion.

Not too sure about the sculpt... The face looks... less than amazing...

well I owuldn't judger her face to harshly from the preview...dose anyone remeber Psylocke? In other news she looks like a spiffy outwitter who will be a major pain in the ### to kill which makes me happy. I'd burn the 50 points it takes to get her.

I'm fine with a swimsuit unique. DangerGirl is not bought for it's superb writing. I wouldn't be suprised if she had perplex for some reasons or another.
One thing I like about DangerGirl is that I don't have to know anything about her to be happy with the figure. "She's some random hot chick who does random spy stuff." There's really nothing else that needs to be known.

Oh I agree to a point. I mean it's fine and dandy but does she really need an REV and a U? Then it happens to plenty of figs so maybe I'm a poor judge of the characters popularity.
But one thing, they say her stats reflect lots of talent and training right? If she has a higher Atk than Batman...I'm screaming...loud.

I have been told that there will be some differences in the Indyclix set between the American and the European releases, because different characters have better followings than others on each side of the pond.
Has someone else heard the same news, or it is just a rumor?

It looks like there will be an R/E/V and unique of some figures, since there is already a diffrent Abby Chase. Perhaps Hellboy in his BPRD tee shirt? Or with his horns? :laugh:

Yep, this is no different than Vet IC Daredevil or Vet Sandman using their wild card ability to copy the skrull team ability. First they get a roll for skrull TA, when targeted, to see if they can "fool" the opponent, then if they fail that they get their Supersenses roll if they are hit.
Does anyone else have a problem with the fact that she has Super Senses? I have read the seven issues and don't recall her "Abbey Sense" going off. I also, don't remember a radar sense, super speed, or future prediction ability that have in the past justified this power. Why can't they just admit that in a world full of super powered beings, she would be useless for combat. They admitted it with Penguin and Luthor, two characters that are entirely story driven. Why not with half nekkid Danger Girl?

I hope that the fact that she has the Aquatic foot symbol means we'll get some maps that have water on them. Aquaman's gotten sick of the same two lil' ponds...
I must have all of the Danger Girl clix.
I like it... We need more water units.
Question: Someone with stealth and water movement. Can they hide "under" water, since it's considered hindering terrain (or is just hindering for movement?)

Water is considered hindering terrain for movement only, not for targeting purposes...
It should be considered hindering terrain if you are standing in it and have aquatic (giving aquatic some use). But its not.

Super senses is a stretch, but catwoman got it, and she doesn't have any super powers just good reflexes. Not that Abs has the reflexes of catwoman.

Wow, that looks great! I wasn't expecting the Indy stuff just yet, but its definately welcome! I dig the 'bathing suit gives her aquatic movement' idea. I mean she's just a regular girl so they've got to be creative in why they give out different powers. That's as a good a reason as any!
And the sculpt (pose) is cool too. Good to see they're getting away from the standard "chick standing around looking good carrying a gun" and gave her a dynamic pose. It bodes well for the rest of the sculpts.
Well, I'm counting the days till september. (but September what!?)

I've heard some house rules for this - water gives the fish-foot Stealth - We've played that water acts as ES/D for fish-foot chars. I like it.

If played correctly (i.e getting the last shot in), he might be ok. In fact we played a big tourney (1000 pt, no one under 75 points, 3 actions per round) and someone brought an Enchantress (probably in anticipation for Thor) and he KOed Thor not one, but twice with her. Ended up costing me the tourney (both of us had 3 wins, but he won by 59 points). Enchantress, she broke my heart....
On the flip side, Vet Kang went 3-0! lol

The skrull ability sounds about right but I must admit the 1st thing I thought of was the batman ability. I'm looking forward to getting this set like all the others. More game pieces are a good thing people! I'm not a huge DC fan but I have every figure just so I can have variety in playing. BRING ON THE INDYS!!!!

Seems even Starter sets are down to 96 figs now. Uniques will be #s 84-96.

At the WK it says "The Official WizKids Indy HeroClix web site will launch shortly." As for the set release, I was going to guess that it comes out early Sep, judging from the past 6 week runs of sneak peaks, but I before I could post my guess the answer arrived. On the flyer in the thread above, it says Indy releases Sept 10th.

It is kinda interesting that there is a CrossGen TA AND Danger Girl TA. I thought there was supposed to be 7 TAs, and there are 8 companies signed up for Indy Clix.
I could be wrong on that.
Makes you wonder though, if I am right, if Wizkids just likes to throw little things like that out there to stir up some discussion and sometimes arguements on these boards.
Take for example the following:
Catgirl was mentioned to have Hypersonic Speed for a brief stint.
CJ Superman was listed as costing 218 pts. when he's actually 223
Batgirl was mentioned to have Psychic Blast
The LE Green Lantern ad mentioned the JLA just got better, but since he turned out to be GL Team, the JLA got jack and sh..carp.
There may actually be more than these, but you get what I'm saying. If this is Wizkids' intent, then they are succeeding!:cheeky:

Actually, Danger Girl is/was published (occasionally) by Cliffhanger Comics. It is not and never was a CrossGen title.
For those unfamiliar with CrossGen comics, you can check 'em out at http://www.crossgen.com
CrossGen Team members will likely be marked with the red and yellow 'Sigil' that figures prominently into the titles they publish.
I can't see each 'creator-owned' property getting its own team ability. Perhaps there will be a new "wild card" TA for the set for figures like Kabuki or Shi. No facts, just guessing...
One thing about Indy Comics:
T&A.......and Abby has that.

I'll bet most of others have it as well....except Hellboy...I don't want him to have it.:confused:

I will agree with you about how dumb the idea was to make a swimsuit unique but I don't care about uniques anyway. I am just glad Danger Girl and Witch Blade are part of Indy Clix. I've had chance to read at least a little bit of too much Indy junk (just my opinion), such as: Young Blood, Savage Dragon and more. DG was actually funny and WB was not bad to read.
It's really sad, but this is one of the only sets where I'm going to limit my purchases to just specific figure sets I want and can find on eBay.
I'll probably pick up the Danger Girls because, well, I know who they are. I may get Witchblade, again because I know who she is.
The Sigil people, Hellboy, etc. ... I think I'll probably wind up passing on all of those simply because -- to paraphrase the quote in my signature -- I could buy them but I'm paralyzed with not caring very much.
