She flies (fast), her touch burns, she’s hard to hurt, she can create a burning blade, and she tends to get pretty angry and fight like a madwoman. To me, that translates into (a different use for) Poison, a little Invulnerability, then Toughness, Blades/Claws/Fangs, and Battle Fury. She has a deep dial and has Blades/Claws/Fangs from her second click all the way to her eighth and final click. She has a range of 6, but if you’re going to use it, do it in the first two clicks, because after that she has Battle Fury and can’t use it anymore. Finally, she’s a member of the Top Cow team, so she can move for free. Definitely use that to get her into combat quickly and without using any of your actions. She’s a bit spendy, coming in at 95 points, but you won’t run out of Blades/Claws/Fangs anytime soon.</TD><TD><IMG SRC="/images/indy/in094.gif"></TD></TR></TABLE>

I'm wondering how they are going to handle the AE's, will Darkness and Angelus be AE's, or Darkness and Witchblade? Or, will Witchblade be AE with Nottingham?

There are a ton of BCF, but then again most Indies I've seen (never read or own, just looking at the cover) generally have guns or sharp instruments, so it fits the MO pretty well.

I like the sculpt and like the fact of BCF w/Invulnerability (though with outwit, it won't matter).

Usually they make the top Characters in the first Set arch enemies. So thats Hellboy, Judge Dread, and Witchblade.

Well, there will be four new team abilities indroduced in the set.

Otherwise the team abilities will be like others:

Free Move: Avengers, JLA, Top Cow
Retaliation: Mystic, Danger Girl (I believe)

Dr Gandalf did say this weekend at WWC that the 2000AD and Kabuki team abilities (both new) will be awesome!!

It seems like they're really going the extra mile... The only thing I don't like so far, is playing in an Idny constructed tourney is gonna be pretty vanilla... I thought DC tournies were bad, until CJ came out, with the same core of figs... 96 figs isn't much to choose from... But, at least the sculpts look cool...

Sweet looking wings! Almost reminds me of Serra Angels from Magic: The Gathering.
That would be cool if they branched off and made Magic clix.

I too am tired of all the B/C/F and the low point values. I am glad this one has a higher point value. I havn't seen the whole entire dial of the others that were listed, but due to their low point value...usually means they don't have much life on their dial.
Don't get me wrong...I would love to squeeze in a character that has a low point cost, but it seems like all of them are low.

Actually, i think the Danger Girl team (as said on the Abby Chase preview) was like the Skrulls. The Cross-Gen team is the Mystics team ability.

Okay, this is the first Indyclix figure that I think both looks cool and has interesting powers.

Invulnerable with poison is an evil combination, especially for a taxi with free move. Who do you attack? If you don't attack Angelus, you get a click of damage. If you do attack her, you've go to get through invulnerability. And then you have to worry about whoever she carried over here. Plus, if you knock her off poison, she now has BCF (and whoever she carried probably does too). Ouch.

And if you make a breakaway, she still has a ranged attack to hit you with. :)

Assuming that she's got a decent attack value (10+), she could be quite potent, I think.

I think you will see INV. only on the first two clicks, when she doesn't have blade/claws/fangs.

I am guessing that is also where we will see her poison on her dial. This makes her able to attack at range, and if people get close she is dangerous with her poison. The real question is what will her damage value and attack value be?

I am guessing click 3 will not be higher than 9 AV since she will have B/C/F. So will it be 11, 10,9? Perhaps 10,9,8? I dunno.

What is really special is that concept of another flying B/C/Fer with two clicks of ranged attack.

Given this sculpt, and the Witchblade unique, and who knows what else, is there any Judge looking forward to the IndyClix JUNIOR Tournament? I really do think Judges, Venues, and WK are gonna get smacked around by parents who think this game is "just for kids". I guess I'll just bring a black magic marker and "edit" the figs as they exit the box.

BTW, what comic book does this character show up in? I'm curious as to where my venue puts said comic, down where everyone can reach it, or on the top "Rated R" rack.

I guess Wizkids just can't win. Everyone wants a flyer to be previewed, and Wizkids gives us one. Of course, it's a unique. It also seems like they rushed this particluar fig to preview it. It looks like someone forgot to paint the thong or panty-line in.

It is a cool looking figure though. And I might take my paintbrush to an Angelus figure if I get one...maybe....

a. most indy clix comics are a litte risque.
b. after going to a few links in the indy clix site, majority of the fighters have guns (both) and/or swords. So bcf will be in abundance. However most that I saw are your average human types (5-6 clicks o'life types)
c. In a pure Indy clix game the two fliers will be pretty important.
d. So she has invul. everyone else has bcf...
e. holy tamolly what's with those... um... nuggets...

haha, what a kowinkydink, i mentioned Angelus in the last thread :p. well anyways a bit of history:

the angelus was darkness's first enemy, she has minions too (other angel type things), she symbolizes the light side of the "force" although she is portrayed as evil. as i said before, angelus, darkenss, and witchblade are all from the same source of power. so they always are having a struggle for power. that is why angelus is always trying to kill the darkness, and that is why the darkness and angelus should be AE. witchblade on the other hand should not be a AE of darkness or angelus, because although witchblade struggles for power between the two, sara pezzini doesnt wish for any conflict.

the powers of witchblade are represented pretty well, i guess poision is like warcraft 3's immolation :p, meaning that angelus has "burning" powers... trogdor burninate... k going off... anyways, ive been wondering about the numerical values of indyclix since much hasnt been said about that :/.

I like the interesting combination of powers. It says she flies very fast, could this be a hint to HSS or perhaps just a high movement? Poison with Inv. On the first click is very interesting. I wonder what her base damage will be.

The figure sculpt is cool... and here I thought witchblade was going to be the least dressed indy figure.

I think it is odd that they give a flyer battle fury, since she cannot be carried anyway. But she does have a raged attack which she won't be able to use and she won't be able to be mind controlled.

When I first saw the title of this thread, I thought "Oh, cool. Maybe they're making Buffy clix ... that'll give me a reason to buy Indy after all."

And then, I saw that it was some naked angel thing with blades/claws/fangs and I was quickly reminded of the reason why I usually don't buy Indy comics and why I probably won't buy IndyClix. Oh well ...

If they ever do come out with an Indy expansion that has Buffy clix, or TMNT clix, or even Tick clix ... then I might buy it. But, I certainly won't need to spend any money on this particular set.
