Her range is a bit low at 4, but with a bullwhip what can you expect? The Rookie version is not a bad deal at 25 points either, though she loses Super Senses. All versions gain from the Danger Girl team ability which allows them to avoid an attack on a roll of a 6. Sydney is great to have standing in some hindering terrain, slowing down opposing units while the other members of your team engage them more directly. Back her up with the other Danger Girl team members to from a very threatening force!</TD></TR></TABLE>

I like to think she has a nice set of guns. I wonder how she will stack up with Black Widow? Looks like you will be getting more for less.

Wow, I wonder if a Danger girl will come with Prob Control... makes them really hard to hit with the TA/SS/Stealth. Probably not because they are jsut people. Unless they have the same "operations" done with Black Cat. Well... they seem to have "those" kinds of operation but the Bad Luck operation is wahat I'm talking about... hahaha

LOL - good one spock.
Range of 4 . . . with a whip . . . . hmm . . . does she loose a round for recoiling it? What about friendly figures behind her, do they take splash damage when she winds it back for a strike? "Ahhh!!!" - "sorry :( "

And Black Cat actually gets to use the TA as well. Hmm.... ooh!... how about Saturn Girl? She's not a PCer... but she's a girl who's a wildcard.
But hmm..... If we see a Danger Girl with BCF, then that figure is just fun to play for the sheer number of Dice-Sensitive powers she has.... SS, TA, and BCF.

Hm... Danger Girls getting that TA and Super Senses... sounds like a giant pile of stupid.
Man. 2 Flyers. 90% have BCF (sure, I thought cheap BCF would be great, but when was the last time I used Typhoid Mary or Blade?). Giant boobs that don't do the figures the justice their comics do. Everyone seems to be under 50 points of suck. Wow.
I'm so excited that I just decided to only buy boosters at sealed tournaments and the marquee.

I've bought only 5 boosters of xplosion & pulled 3 uniques.... I want crossgen figs, but I don't see a lot of playable clix... team fillers yes but thats a plenty in DC also, so as much as I hate not to support WK I probably wont buy a lot of this. I like my DC. I spend money on DC, but if I want to afford Critical Mass, then Indy is out...

I've got no problem with flyers in general flying guys around in to battle and doing whatever. I just don't like that it has become a staple, after the first tournament EVER taxi's were considered mandatory. But I don't care because I rarely put a flyer on my team for taxiing. But indyclix does look like a lot of fun, but maybe thats cuz I always like the unliked. Hell I like 8th edition MTG.

Skrull agent - "This sucks. We aren't getting any play on the Marvel battlefield!"
Skrull cammando - "Yah. We gotta do something. People will think we are unplayable"
SuperSkrull - "Fools, we are skrulls. We adapt! ...We'll just go over to Indyclix and pretend to be busty young women!"
Skrull warrior - "Yahooo! Can I be the one with the whip?"

Dude, I'm getting myself some Skrull mod'd Danger Girls if it kills me! They're so cheap you can field a whole team of them! You could take some danger girls off their bases and put them on some skrull bases. You could end up with like 3 or 4 of each fig, all with different stats. It would make it really hard for your opponent to keep track of who's who and what's what. Or to be really nasty, make them all clones of the same figure. Mix in a Superskrull so there really is some sort of threat. The possibilities are endless! BoohooohhwahhhaaaHA! Danger Skrulls Rocks! :p

Why?
The powers are independent so having both of them make them that much harder to hit
I mean working the math, assuming an attack roll high enough to hit, 8/18 of the attacks against them still miss...let alone the stealth...
Even with a mediocre defense most attacks miss or do not work...

Does anyone remember that nasty math-intensive thread analyzing how best to use Probability Control on either friendly Super Senses figs or the enemy attacking them . . ?
Even with an average defense she could be a real pain to kill. Plus if you're playing against an opponent worth his salt you'll have to get up in her face too. As much as i hate to say it i'd love if she had BCF :P

Incap? Puleese, I think we all remember just how useful this power is in the current rules system. Now, if they changed the rules system, and made Incap more powerful, I may actually have a use for my Spider-Man!

I hate incap more than anyone, but the fact is she will be a real pain to hit (never having a 50% chance to hit her) making her at the very least a good tie up piece.

I haven't read the whole thread, but to me, this whole Indy Heroclix set seems to me [overall] like a bunch of overcosted lackeys...I mean I don't intend to offend fans of the characters or these clicks in particular, but from what I've seen sofar, I have noooo desire to even touch a pack of these...

PantherPriest, if Incap is so good, then why not tell us how good it can be used? It's very rare to see someone with more than one target with it.
PantherPriest
08/17/2003, 19:04
Its only really sweet with multiple targets. And unfortunately there aren't enough figs with incapacitate and a long range. I can think of several times in battle where I've wished my ranger also had incap... like Green Arrow. But in specific I can think of this one time where my rookie thing was fighting this rookie she hulk and she hulk never got a hit in because rookie spiderman kept her at bay.
And incapacitate is really good at knocking out toughness and invulnerability. With superior figure knowledge and a little bit of timing you place that incapcitate at the right spot and knock thor off of his invulnerability just in time for cyclops storm and friends to blast a whole in his ###...gardianself.
I will admit that it is far to expensive, it's like 7 points a click.
Spyder's Web

Good point. Yes, you are right, there aren't enough Green Arrows....
Batman1983
08/17/2003, 20:45
doh!
PantherPriest
08/17/2003, 20:59
there are 27 figs with incapacitate and multiple targets in the game in case anyone was wondering. It is unfortunate how hard it is to find incapacitate and a good range.
Incapacitate is also good for damaging figs you couldnt damage naturaly do to reduction powers, buy pushing them. Thanos is a tank but only when he's able to act.
I for one am glad to see a game where you can actually put together a team that you'd actually see in the comics, I have yet to see a tourny squad that wasn't arbetrary figs for ability. It's why I don't play in tournies for any game, It's all about winning first, fun second(for most). Characters are so expensive you cant put together actual teams it seems. The Danger Girls are cheap? Good! I can use them all at once like there supposed to be instead of leaving one out and using a hydra secretary to fill in 8 or so points!
Just ranting.
PantherPriest
08/18/2003, 21:32
See, Litz knows whats going on. I completely agree, I still play in tourneys I just use more competitive versions teams that I like. I never make a team just because it sounds like a cool power combo, If I wanted to do that I'd play MageKnight, which I still may some day looks kinda fun. But I play heroclix because it's characters I know, which is why I don't play much DC. Amazo?? Isn't that a cleaning agent. I can't stand having to fill in figs like that hydra medic example you gave, lately I've just been jamming in cheap named figs to fit the point bill. I'd much rather stick a swat guy with the avengers than say x with xmen.
Thanks , I play in tournies as well for fun just not often. I much prefer playing my friend in big point casual games. We get to use stuff we like! Not just Three Bullseyes surrounded by blah blah blah.. I did see one interesting team of a sentinel surrounded by con artists! Ouch! I also don't want to generalise there are alot of players who feel the same way but kinda have to do the same as the "power gamers" just to play well. I think that's kind of sad as it sort of takes away the feeling of playning out an epic battle. I also feel that unless in a scenerio only one version of a character should be fielded at a time. And by character I mean named figs not medics agents etc. It makes sense. Reduces the cheese factor.
