Ok, thought I'd add two cents.
So looks like Wolverine...or Logan, is almost the same sculpt as the CT version. Any clues as to what he's supposed to have. I'm more than a little dissapointed that it's not Movie Wolverine or New X-Men Wolverine.

Some good clix for Critical mass would be: Ghost Rider, Moon Knight, The Punisher, Carnage, Tombstone, kraven, and maybe Deadpool!

Thanks viperdpj. I was happy with them for CJ. (I think the price for boosters is even lower for CM than it was for CJ, too).
And, now we have an official release date! 12/3. Plenty of time for my family to go Christmas shopping :)

Surfer an't THAT bad.
Hulk is a little akward, but since the store owner lets you feel the packs before you buy, I'm all for HUGE unique sculpts!
Hopfully, this will be a set for a REV line of spidys with SUPER SENSES (geeze, they musta been smoking something when they made the origonal and the SOD supes)
Wolvie looks too plan and alot like logan. Slops to the Patch sculpt
Spidy's sculpt looks great. Finally, someone is on something besides a rock!

Thanos' AE should be Adam Warlock. Nuff said. That's of course if they ever make another Thanos.
Adam would be the most appropriate AE, but wasn't Thanos the last "suprise" member of the infinity watch? If a player wanted to put together the whole team they couldn't. AE might not be right. Some POWERS would be nice though! Geez at this point I KNOW what they're smoking, what I want to now is what it's laced with, cause they are messed up! SS on Spiderman?, even non-comic readers now "Spidey-sense" come on! I heard the excuse and its lame!

Not bad, not bad. It'll be cool to se a Hulk with ranged attack and probably some Close Combat Expert. Good point about being able to easily pick him from a booster...Remember, too, that when this Hulk came about, the title was drawn by Peter David. I think the movie Hulk was based on Peter's so the similarities make sense. Is that Cosmic Spidey, or what? As for Patch and Logan being appereciably different-who cares? I seem to remember Logan being relatively awesome. The Silver Surfer's sexuality: When we registered for this site, we, each of us, agreed to keep our opinions about sexuality, race, your mom and all that to ourselves. Don't think it's just a word. If it were, why would you pick that one? Emough babysitting the thread- I can't wait for C.M. especially after Cosmic Justice.

How about a Thanos with OUTWIT for goodness sakes!? Or a Spiderman with Super Senses (btw, hw come the Rookie Spiderman has no Spiderman team ability. I mean, he was SPIDERMAN, right? *sigh* maybe that was from his wrestler peirod) One thig I think people forget many times is that while a good looking sculpt is nice, it doesn't really affect gameplay much. I personally think Amazo looks like a world-class fruitcake, yet he is good. And Iceman is the flip side; an awesome sculpt with little game play use.

Not the wrestler days, really, but his early career when he did not team up with everyone under the sun. That is really what the Spiderman Team ability is all about, cross-overs and guest stars! What I think are funny are the ones who lose the Spiderman Team ability, like V Black Cat. What, did she become anti-social and forget how to team-up? Has she started to fail "plays well with others?" :P

Spidey has ALWAYS ben the most social marvelitte...In Amazing Spider-Man #5 (+/- an issue or two) he tries to join the FF for the love of Pete! So I have a hard time trying to guess what period these Spidey-with-no-Spidey-Team-Ability figures come from. Remember that IC was the first run...look at Cap or Firelord & Bullseye...WK was testing the waters with that set and the following ones have had MUCH better comic book representations (except Hawkeye).

But he did it for the money. When the team told him they all drew a small 'living expense' and profits went to the FF corportaion for the betterment of mankind, Spidey was SO out of there.
Admittedly, most of the time, Spidey plays well with others (see Marvel Team-Up), but there are times when Spiderman just wants to be alone. That figure must be one of those times.
