Now this is one I really want.

I'm with Manchine on this one. The favorite CrossGen title of both myself and my girlfriend, and one of the best-written characters ever to grace the printed page. Now, if they'd just release Giselle Villard from Mystic, my life would be complete!

hmm. still have no Idea who this character is.
I want more Hellboy figures. Where's the mail-in LE of Roger the Homonoculous? Where's our Abe Sapien?

Read Sojourn. Latest issue's only a buck.
Three mail away Indy LEs confirmed, two of very good Crossgen characters. I like this. The more mail away LEs available in a set the better if you ask me.
One question though... When will Wizkids deliver us the stats for the LE Hulk. If Draddog reads this then pass the word around that the fans would love to see his stats to tide us over until our figures come in.

According to the article it says OW@W Supes and berserker Wolvie are still available... does that mean we will be able to still get our hands on those pieces?!?!

That fig is the exact same sculpt as the statue you can buy for like $100.
Exellent figure.
Now if only the magazine was available AT ALL in the dark depths of the English West country...
Ah Well.

Now this looks cool. I don't think anybody has any indy cracks to say on this one.
Which months Wizard magazine?

I couldn't find anything on it at the Wizard website mentioned in the ad. But then again, I guess the issue isn't out yet, technically.

Wait a second, wasn't there supposed to be a unique Arwyn with a bow? What'll be the difference between the two.
Did anyone else notice that the Wolverine figure has the arch enemy base, while the Superman does not? For the figures I have, Superman has the arch enemy base, while Wolverine does not.
Can anyone verify the existance of the figures shown in the latest Wizard, or is it just old photo art?

Maybe you can get someone to scan the page and email it to you. I would, but I don't have a scanner.

Guess I won't be trading for that Wolvie LE . . .
But I can't find anything on their website about any LE beside GL and Boon . . .

How does Indy rate 3 mail-away figs on it's first release when it took DC 2 sets to get 2 mail-aways and it took Marvel 3 sets to barely get a second mail-away..........?
I'm looking at the Wizard site right now. Therre is a link at the top to the Boon fig. If you order it this way, it $10.00 each! $5 for the fig and $5 for shipping. That's very ungood. Are they doing that in the magazine also?
When you ordered the gl on line it was something like $28 for two

Darn, someone beat me to the joke about the dog giving her B/C/F. :disappoin
Sounds great. New number 1 archer maybe. It depends what her numbers are but running shot, ranged combat expert, willpower and multiple arrows is a nasty combo.

a few comments:
1) if you order on the site it's more expensive cause you have to buy the mag too.
2) I spoke to someone at Wizard recently and she told me they're planning on having another Wolverine giveaway withint the next month or two (same figure., just another shot at it). My guess is that they'll be having a new Superman giveaway as well.
3) the reason Indyclix has 3 giveaways is that there are a heckuva lot of different companies that WizKids has to please, rather than just one (with DC and Marvel). This is also the reason why there will be different figs in the UK IndyClix than in the North American one.
Cheers!

Multiple arrows might not be all that great if she only has 1 damage w/ RCE once the... er... um... in a little bit...

That's too bad. You're missing out on a really great comic. A lot of people need to realize that comics are a lot bigger than just Marvel and DC, or you'll be missing out on some great writers and artwork.
Books A Million has (or had... not sure if it's still going on) a buy 2 get 1 free deal for Crossgen Graphic Novels (and Tokyopop and I believe Viz manga as well). Among those in the deal is Sojourn's first GN containing the first 6 issues. That's how I got introduced to Sojourn, and now I'm hooked.
I'm happy to see that they're giving this figure multiple arrows despite the designer's comment that Arwyn only deserves 1. I'll definitely be playtesting this figure on my teams!
Well to all the out of counrty clixsters....if u like I can try and get these LE for you......just need to pm me...and we can work something out....always like to help...just pm me.....
Skiman.........:)
I like the theory of Indy having more companies to please and thus more LEs but two of the three mail-away LEs are from Crossgen... which doesn't really jive with your theory...

well, then it might be please the publishers of the mag then...
Get DIFFERENT figs for different mags to ensure people mixing it up...plus the completists...that will want all of them.
Thus, all the mags have a chance of getting higher numbers rather than (for most people)...just Wizard or maybe Inquest...

The 2 cross-Gen ones are also from the same company - one is from Wizard and one from Inquest, a Wizard affiliate. My guess is that Wizard had the rights to make separate figures but could only secure the rights from Cross-Gen for an LE figure.
The Witchblade is from Scrye, which is unafiliated with Wizard.
As for why there are 3 separate LEs, there are, IMO, two other possible reasons: 1 is money. Three figures in magazines with separate core audiences means a wider group of people will have access to them and will hopefully mean more figures sold. As it is, the fact that they're relaunching the Wolverine and Superman figures indicates that they made a LOT more than they could sell.
The second reason would be that, if marketed properly, the Indyclix could far outsell Marvel and DC. Because if you think about it, you have a huge Heroclix fanbase already bubbling with excitement over this set. But you now can tap into a massive new audience, many of whom will likely buy the game (and the LEs) simply for collectible purposes. 2000 AD, Cross-Gen, Danger Girl, Shi, Hellboy, Kabuki - these are names that are guaranteed sells and all sell a LOt of merchandise.
-grin- I wouldn't be surprised if we see even more LEs coming out way soon...
And heck, there'll be Critical Mass to promote soon enough too...

Cheers!

But there are so many better characters (sales wise) that they could have worked harder to secure. TMNT, Tick, Image, and some truly indies, like Badger, Grendel, Nightveil, Continuity Comics characters, DNAgents. I'd focus on the 80s and 90s Indy boom.

I think it is because that the INDY clix set is only going to have 96 figures, Which I may add that I was very dissappointed when I read that on the Poster. This is a new set not an Expansion.I will be buying INDY but it should have been at least like 130 like DC was.

First off, they may have tried to get some other licenses and failed. I was inwardly hoping for some of the Image collective like Spawn or Savage Dragon - though everything under the Image banner is creator owned so they would have had to have obtained every license individually. Also, a lot of the original Image stuff is either Liefeld's (under the now defunct Maximum Press) or Wildstorm (no owend by DC). So Youngblood, WildCATS, Authority, Gen13 are all basically out of the question.
TMNT and Tick would be fun, but I inwardly wonder whether WizKids wants the silly aspect included. The (unfortunately) out of print Wildstorms card game had Bone, Milk, and Cheese chase cards, among others. But I can't think of any 'silly' characters - ie non 4-color superhero - characters in the Clix sets. Hell, I'd love to have a Bone, Cerebus and Groo - but would they fit...? Grendel is the one character I think they should have (and likely COULD have) secured the rights too - of course who knows? Maybe they have...? And there are lways expansions to think about;)
But Badger? DNAgents? Would anyone have bothered to care? Don't forget that money has to come into it, and there are MANY more Danger Girls fans out there than Badger fans =) Which is why they probably ignored Valiant and Malibu...and other greats like Coyote.
Cheers!

Well there are actually something like 115-120 but instead of a single set, they split it between North American and UK audiences...
I'm just hoping that the UK set will be available in North America, and vice-versa...I know that my store is trying to get their hands on some cases of UK IndyClix.

That's true. At Gencon they explained to me that most of the Judge Dredd Figures will be Europe and most of the Ctoddgen North America. There will be a few from both that make it both America and Europe, the rest we'll be having to trade back and forth across the pond.

Just picked up the new Wizard today and was looking at the order form. It says that FedEx is available for an extra $5 PER item (wow). I'm guessing regular mail delivery is built into the cost of the clix? Anyone else read it that way????

Yes, The cost for regular shipping has always been included in the $5 cost. If you want it quicker, then you have to pay the extra $5 for FedEx.
