View Full Version : Scrye figure offer Witchblade clarification

Scrye figure offer Witchblade clarification
There's been some confusion over the prices listed in the exclusive Witchblade figure offer in Scrye #64, so we want to make things clear: Each of the prices listed includes postage - there is no additional shipping cost!
For U.S. readers, that means $5 for each figure sent via the good old U.S. Postal Service; no more, no less. U.S. readers who prefer to have their figures sent via Fed/Ex Ground will have to shell out $10 per figure. Figures sent to Canada will be $7, and $8.50 for figures sent to other foreign addresses. Just pick your country and how you want your figures shipped - there aren't any additional charges!
If you want to order the figure shipped via standard shipping, you should enter a zero (0) in the line for shipping charges. If you've already remitted an order and included $5 for shipping, your order will be shipped to arrive promptly via Federal Express ground shipping.
Again, this offer is only available in the latest issue of Scrye, #64, on newssatnds now.
We hope that clears things up and we apologize for any confusion.

Thanks for the update. I assume this offer will be in the Wizard mags as well?

Just don't bump the Critical Mass flyers with more items!!!! I need more speculation on who's on the box ( you guys at Wizkids love this don't you?) I don't see how anyone can care about Indy Clix after seeing and hearing about Critical Mass. I do have the Hecate Unique though. She's pretty nifty in a fight.

Huh??
So if people who put in $5 get FedEx shippping anyway, that's not quite fair to those of us who put in $10 eh? Do we get a $5 rebate? Sure it's only $5, but that's a whole extra booster when Indy is released!

This offer is in Scrye Magazine - not affiliated with Wizard or Inquest.

I would like to get this straight: I sent in $10 and asked for two figures. So, they're going to send me two, right? I'm not getting messed over for shipping? I just want to double check this.

Hmmm, this is very interesting as I clearly misunderstood. I sent in $15 thinking I had to pay for shipping. Of course, if that means they'll arrive faster, oh well. I was willing to pay the shipping charge when I thought I had to, so its really no skin off my nose that I paid that extra $5.
Is this now the last mail away for Indy?
We have had exactly 1 mail away Marvel piece in 3 sets, we've had 2 mail away DC pieces in 2 sets and 3 mail away figures for Indy with only 1 set. Does that seem odd to anyone else?

Anybody know if you can order this one from some website like you can with the Wizard promo figs? Its so dang hard for me to find a lot of these mags...
I guess this means I paid 5 bucks more than I wanted too and be upgraded to FedEx shipping? There bad wording causes me 5 bucks. I am so excited.
There's two send away marvel figures, not one. Wolverine and the new Hulk. The ratio is still quite off, however. 2:3 marvel, 2:2 DC and 3:1 Indy is kinda... odd. I hope we get some more marvel send away LEs cranked out here soon!

Yeah, me too. Woo hoo. I think that they should send those of us who sent in $15 three figs!
Does anybody still have the order form? I sent mine out a few days ago and I thought in the order form it stated $5.00 for shipping and made no reference that the $5.00 was for FedEx shipping.
The stats should be different, I'm guessing she has 2 movement for standing in molasses.
The ad states she has toughness all the way down due to her armour. It might be just me, but if she has toughness because of armour, her foes probably can't aim.

I've got a copy of it. It states...

Witchblade Indy HeroClix..|..$5.....|..._______....|..$____
_____________________________________________________

Very, very misleading in my opinion. Nowhere does it state the the $5 per fig includes shipping. The fact that the $5/$10 FedEx is in the row labeled "Shipping" indicates that there is a cost for shipping.
Yes. It's not confusing. Its worded wrong, and no one is claiming repsonsibility. Typical.

Well I sent in $20 thinking it was $5 per figure AND $5 for shipping PER figure. Then when I learn it was one cost for the whole package, I figured well at least I'll get FedEx now. Now I learn according to the first post that even those who sent in $5 for shipping will get FedEx. Looks like I really lost out on this one. =\

POST PAID. It DOES have shipping. In America however, THEY pay the shipping, unless you express order it. Then you have to pay. NOT cheap.
Miss-worded? Yes. They should have just said FREE, but the consumer might want to know the savings on a regular shipping order (-$5). Very easy to misread. People who paid extra should get extra figures. I don't know.

lol
If anything her opponents wouldn't be able to miss, or look away for that matter. Perplex would be in order. How DOES she move? And a "hentai-anime-esque" organic bikini is not my definition of toughness. I think her foes just want to "DO HER" instead of "DOING HER IN". Just one of many "creator making hot half naked hero chicks to live vicariously" comics. Danger Girl too. I must note I like both, but if I see "Project Knockout" "Fem Force" or Innovation comics, i'll know the PoonTang level has peeked for HC.
This might just be ..but everyone is talking about 3 send-in's for indy ...Arwyn, witchblade ..and ? what's the third one ?

All I have to say is I'll be VERY reluctant to order a send-away from Scrye again. I think it should be up to them to contact anyone who filled out the order form wrong, and get it straightened out.
I certainly DO NOT want my order FedEx-ed, so they leave it at my door, and then one of my neighbors will pick it up and walk off with it. Leaving me with no figures and FedEx offering me my $15 back. Oh Boy!
This is ####.

Yeah, I doubt I'll pick up Scrye again for anything. I don't want mine Fedex'ed either. FedEx comes by when I'm not home and they never leave anything. I always have to make a 25 minute drive out to their offices to pick stuff up!

Possibly because some of us prefer Hellboy or 2000 AD to anything Marvel has ever published...?

I am more confused than ever now! If I want two figures mailed to England does that mean that I pay:
a) $17.00 (2 figs @ $8.50 each inc. shipping)
b) $18.50 (2 figs @ $5 each + $8.50 shipping)
c) $27.00 (2 figs @ $5 each + 2x$8.50 shipping)
Any help would be greatly appreciated . . .:cross-eye
option A... I think...

Correct me if I'm wrong (or this is old news)...
But does it look to anyone else like this figure will be made of partially translucent plastic?
The flame looks like a translucent red/orange to me. Maybe just for the LE and the U is actually painted??
SonofVader

I think you're entirely correct on the translucent thing. After all, what's a mail away LE if you can't see through it?...
... an opaque LE...
Man, I need some lunch. I wonder if I have any cheese in my fridge.
I have to ask. At the bottom it says Canadian remit $7.50, so is it 7 or 7.5?

Two thoughts come to mind -
1) bikini wax
2) fetal alcohol syndrome
Seriously, the figure looks great - very much her and I like the translucent flame - I wonder if she's translucent red head to toe under that paint job.
This is Witchblade to me not the REV set produced, but I think I'll have to hide this figure from the kids - LOL - sort of sends the wrong message, but true to the books.
YES, women in organic/metal bikinis, with no feet, and flaming swords ARE NOT OBJECTS!!!
She does look wicked-bad!

I think this post is wrong, I just picked up the mag and under shipping there are 4 options, and it's 5$ for US postpaid, which, if i'm not mistaken, is regualr mail, and nowhere on it does it say that the 5$ for the figure includes shipping. So I'm 90% sure that it is indeed 5$ for standard US shipping, unlike all the Inquest offers, which include the shipping in the 5$ price tag. So that's 6 for the magazine, 5 for the figure, and 5 for shipping. That's one expensive figure!
I emailed Scrye and asked, the 5 (or 7 for Canada) does include shipping, the post does not lie.

wow this is the most misleading mail away form ever printed. NOWHERE does it say that the 5 includes shipping, and it says 5$ postpaid, which i thought was normal shipping. sheesh. Well, I'm glad that it's not 5 bucks more, thanks magnito!

So, to bring this back on track, does anyone know the difference between the Witchblade Unique and the Witchblade LE?
Stats only? The sculpt looks the same as the Unique. Does the Scrye article say what the stat difference is?
Sculpt is different (clear blade) frankly the regular looks better to me, I'd really like to know the stats myself!
