October 19th Fun Heroclix Event for a good cause.
Have a young man at our venue that is setting up a charity event for a local food shelf. Donation asked is 10 canned food items to play.
He has gotten over 400 HeroClix donated and built them into 8 clix/450 point teams. I have looked them over and they are all competitive in his format. All are sealed in random boxes.
Each player gets one box at the start. You get to keep this team after the event. There will be 3 rounds of play. Format will be 4 player groups for total ko points with a time limit. New rules.
He has also worked hard for a bunch of great prizes. And two of the local venues are providing support. So far he has over 25 unique Clix to hand out. Good ones too. He has a CJ Superman and a Sauron in the prize pool, plus a couple of promo Indy Clix from the UK, 5 le's, 2 boxed le's and 8 boster boxes.
All takes place on Oct. 19th. at 1pm at Robin Goodfellow, 23 N. Lake Av in Duluth, Mn.
