First post, so there.

Keiko and Sister Magdalena are a big disapointment. Arashi is nice with all that 3 damage with Crucade, and Bajounte-Ka is decent for a generic LE.
When will They be releasing Betsy Braddock for general tournies? I am tired of seeing the hand ninjas who can't work together.

betsy is con-exclusive
and curse the hand ninjas and their inferior ways

Keiko looks awesome to me. Give me Kabuki over these wussified ninjas and pirates any day of the week.

Just posting to show my support of Indy.

Support Indy, people. Please. It'll probably get better.

Seriously, I like the set... but these prizes are all different flavors of lameness. What's with all the Rookie-Plus figs?

I can't help but wish they'd planned two DC events and one Marvel. Realistically, this is about the sixth month people have had chances for frigging Kirigi and Elektra, but many of the Cosmic Justice LEs are still pretty rare. In fact, the Raven Darkholme/Elektra package was *this* month: I just won Raven a week ago!

Then again, many local folk are still trying to get Jane Foster; if they had to do two XPlosion packages, would that they offered her in one of them.

The Masahiro Arashi's pretty good; so is Bajounte-Ka. I hope I play well on the nights they're up for grabs!

HAHAHAHAHAHA!
That's like saying:
Visit East Brewton, Alabama. You'll get used to the smell.
or
Scenic Selma, Alabama: You must be THIS poor to live here.
or better yet
Jasper, Alabama...Progress...What's that?

I like Indy but these LEs really incite no excitement in me I'm afraid... I love to see something new and special or atleast Vet + stats... these ones just kind of bore me.

This is only the second thing I haven't been pro for about Indy (the two seperate sets being the only other thing).

I just pity Indy Clix. I support it so that it might grow out of it's sickly state and become the strong third pillar of Heroclix it should be. Although it deserves almost everything being said about it, I beg you, show not wrath, but mercy on the poor lost set.

And shin, I couldn't help but notice a pattern in your examples. Tell me, what state does this ink blot look like to you? :noid:

I think the Arashi is really good - very pushable - and a big improvement over at least the E version.

At least they are improvements - there are very few CJ Le's that are more usable than any of the REV's.

The Special Ops Sydney is a lot better than the non versions too.

Keiko is right smack between the R and the E - that doesn't bother me at all.

Its when you get an Imra Ardeen - for about 4 points more you can get a lot better V - or save nearly 20 points and go for the E - that you really complain about LE lameness...

They are all soo... ehhh

This will be the first set where I won't want to keep my LE's.

The Keiko LE has nothing going for it. You can use the rookie for 2 less pts. and the only reason I play R Scarab is so Rasputin and Hellboy can have stealth.

Dissapointing :(

I think he'd have more "troubles" round about now if his _father_ was from Alabama. ;)

Happy clixing,
Mike

P.S. Oh, uh, on topic content... Err... I all ready have the ninja's. But I _could_ use a Raven... Hehe.

True, but if old patterns hold true December will be the last month you can win XPlosion prizes; with the Critical Mass Marquee in December that should mean CM LEs come January.

Also, keep in mind that one of those Marvel events is a Junior one. So for most players, November means you can play one Head to Head tourney for each line plus the sealed Indy tourney.

And for those who say they won't keep their Indy LEs... drop me a line if you get them. :)

Bajounte-ka the 40 point le generic that will tear you into little peaces, if it hits that is which it won't most of the time, now that a wasted 40 points, 40 points that cant even hit indy defence values. boo, that is a worse less figure.

She's a level 5 LE, same as Dr. Leonard Samson, Irene Adler, Mac Gargan, Bobby Drake, Hank McCoy, Natasha Romanoff, Blastaar of Baluur, Victor Creed & Bruce Banner. Not a con-exclusive in the way Atom, Plastic Man, Ant-Man & Yellowjacket were, but as a prize that could only be won at the big cons.

I saw one get won at GenCon & one at Wizard World Chicago. (I'm sure there were more than that, but from what I saw, it was a mere sprinkling of Betsys and some of the others, amidst a flood of Bobby Drakes & Natasha Romanoffs.) I assume there were a handful given away at WW-East & Origins, too, along with DragonCon, etc. If you can get to Wizard World Texas, you might have a chance to win one there. They'll probably have them at the cons next summer, too, as I saw one Bruce Banner get won at GenCon this year also.

Oops. I left out the DC LE-5s (Pamela Isley & Dinah Lance) and the Indy LE-5s (Barbara Hershey, and whatever the 2nd one will be).

Also keep an eye out for regional championships. They gave out several LE-5s at the "Midwest Championship" in May, and again at the "Wizkids Weekend" in September at Pastimes in Illinois, just north of Chicago.

He's not that bad, I guess. At least he's vet +. I might use him, if I had one and I was bored and putting together an all LE team. He's got lots of toughness.

He's a vet +, and IIRC the only difference is he gets perplex back on his last two clicks. And of course he's higher priced. 114, I think.
