NightCrawler's Heroclix isnt the real Nightcrawler

I dont know if anybody else realised this, but I was flipping through my Ultimate Guide to the X-Men book and I came upon somthing interesting. the Nightcrawler Heroclix (my first Unique, by the way ^-^) Isnt from the regular Marvel Universe. infact, his costume is the one that the AoA Nightcrawler wore. so Nightcrawler is really Age of Apocalypse Nightcrawler. just missing the eye mark.
Now that I think is cool, since they made AoA Nightcrawler, then maybe they can make AoA Wolverine(Weapon X), Morph, Blink, X-Man, and others

AoA = Age of Apocalypse

it was a good story. it started out with Legion, Xaviers Son, going back in time thinking "If I kill Magneto, then my fathers dream will come true!" so Legion does, but a group of X-Men go back to stop him because it would disrupt time. so a team of X-Men (Only ones I can verify were in there is Bishop and Storm) go back in time and try to stop Legion. only Problem is, they are too Late. But Legion dosent kill Magneto. he acsidentally kills Xavier. this is when Magnus and Xavier were buddies.

at this point in time, all time disrupted, and for 4 months, all the X Comics took on a different name to reflect the time. this was a world where because there was no Xavier, Apocalypse would rule. he would Terrify North America, while South America lay a Nuclear Mess. in Europe, the last humans plan their assault against the tyrant. but they do not know of a Rogue group of Mutants named "X-Men"

Led by Magneto, this team was very different. it Comprised of Magneto, Rogue with Magnetic Powers, Storm, Nightcrawler, Shadowcat, Gambit, Jublee, Srong Guy, Morph, Blink, Collosus, Sunfire, QuickSilver, Sabertooth, and a few others.

Meanwhile, Apocalypse had his 4 horsemen. Sinister, Hollocaust, and 2 others I cant remember. Sinister had his own Genetisist, the Dark Beast. its your Beast but he's Psychotic. and also, Sinister had 2 adopted Children. Havoc and Cyclops. Cyclops was missing an eye from when he fought Weapon X (Wolverine) who stormed into the slavepits to save Phoenix. Weapon X and Phoenix work for the Humans, and Weapon X is also missing his left hand. it was Vaperized by Cyclops. Sinister also Created a Clone of Jean and Scotts named "Nate Grey" he is the X-Man you see today...well, used to anyway.

Anyway, Magneto Discovered that this timeline was totaly messed up. He learned this from a 70 year old Bishop, since Bishyop was already lost in Time, he didnt get displaced. so Magneto Developed this huge plan, that by Using the Mkraan Crystal, he would send Bishop back in time to fix things

so there was this big war, with everybody dieing pretty much. Bishop did go back and stop leigon. but also, X-Man, Dark Beast, Hollocaust, and the Sugarman, who is a Demented Slaver, Escaped. while Cyclops became good, but died by his brother, jean Died, WeaponX died in a nuclear Explosion, as did most people. but the cool thing is Magneto Defeated Apocalypse by RIpping Lypse in half using his powers.

there is also a sequal book that is pretty neat. takes place after the nuclear destruction. stared Victor Von Doom, Ben Grimm, Qwen Stacy, Tony Stark, and Bruce Banner. pretty cool. oh, and Blink and Morph were dislpaced in time and became members of Exiles. which is a sweet Combot of X-men and Sliders. check it out. thats my history lesson

the morph from the exiles isnt from the AoA story arch hes a diferant Morph from a world where the only apparent differance from standard continuity is that hes on of the X-men. Well sumerized otherwise Nexodus.

nooooo, Exiles Morph IS AoA Morph. They Explained that and he looks exactly and acts exactly like the AoA Morph

Actually, Weapon X and Phoenix didn't work for the humans per ce. They were mercenaries. And as such, did work for anyone who paid them (but strange mercenaries they were, for they had conscience and worked with whomever they pleased, and they helped the humans WITH Magnus blessings). Gambit wasn't part of the team. He had his own band of rogues (jejje pun NOT intended). And if I remember correctly, Rogue didn't have magnetic powers.

Otherwise, very good recount of what happened.

thats the weapon x, b4 wolverine became the costumed fighter he is, the weapon X refered to hear is wolverine lacking in one of his hands

I thought the Nightcrawler costume was the costume from the late 80s, are they the same?

Just to nitpick, the AoA X-Men were Magneto, Rogue, Storm, Nightcrawler, Morph, Blink, Sunfire, QuickSilver, Sabertooth, Wild Child, Exodus, Banshee, Dazzler, and Iceman.

just a side question..... I've never read aoa but I like dark beast and sugar man. What are their super powers? I don't know, but I 'd bet dark beast is just like our beast only evil. Is that true? and sugarman, I can't for the life of me figure out what his super powers are, unless they're to just be ugly!!!!!

what I ment by Gambit being an X-Men, is cause Magneto hired Gambit to get the Mkraan Crystal, which I believe was plumiting twords the Earth.

Also, to clerify the whole Weapon X thing. yes, there is a Weapon X Heroclix. but this is Logan back when he was still being controlled by the Weapon X Project.
The Weapon X we are talking abuot is a Merc from AoA who is missing his Left hand.

I still think they should have done one better and made teleportation. I know SS is like it but it would have been much cooler to just be able to say have a fig next to you and teleport up to half or even at your complete movement. I think WK has seriously dropped the ball when making figs. I mean they probably wouldn't have thought that comic book fans would look back at that fig and say thats not the real Nightcrawler. If the do another one, which i doubt they will, they should introduce teleportation.
