It has taken a long time, but I have now gotten two new venues approved on Chicago's northside. Wizkids prize support has arrived for the two venues in Lincoln Square. For November, the tournaments will be every Saturday at 1:30 PM at Watch Tower Comics and Sunday's at 11:00 AM at Heroes for Hire.
The shops are on the east side of Western Ave, between Lawrence and Ainslie Ave's, 2400 W and 4800+ N (yes, they are competing on the same block). There is parking on Western Ave(meters), free next to Watchtower in the small parking lot just north of the store, and free on Ainslie Ave.
These locations are just a block or two north of the brown line Western Ave. stop, walking straight north on Western Ave.
There are Lawrence Ave exits from Lake Shore Drive, I90 and I94. From 90 or 94, you just drive east to Western, then turn left (north) and park. From Lake Shore Drive you just drive west to Western. There are busses available on both Western and Lawrence-and these busses connect to the redline and blue line trains.
Tournament types are posted on the Wiz Kids website, Greg.
