Every Monday we'll bring you a new Weekly Poll that will run Monday to Monday. Last weeks poll, regarding your favorite exclusive LE, will end at 5 o'clock tonight. Currently, the Atom has a solid lead over OW@W Supes.
This weeks poll asks: Which HeroClix Add On do you like the best?
In contention: the two Adventure Packs, as well as the company specific Map Sets.

What do you mean by add on? Like back up figures, or adventure packs?
Edit: Ack, never mind, now I see. The poll was higher than my screen.
I like the outdoor set. I love all those tokens. The soda machine is just super keen. The dumpster is a clasic brawler icon. The lamp post is neat although a little difficult to carry around. But it's great to put in a Sentinel's hand even though he can't really use it.

Wouldn't Sinestro and the Sentinel be considered add-ons?

Technically yes, however, the Sentinel and Sinestro will likely get their own poll in the future. ;)

It's a toss-up between the adventure packs, but in the end, I chose the outdoor set....

I voted for the Outdoor pack myself. The 3D objects add a lot to the the game IMHO, and the Outdoor ones have always appealed to me more. The dumpster in particular has probably made the most impact on the way Super Strength is viewed in the game.

The indoor packs are valuable, but not as much fun to field. Computers get thrown all the time. Look at your office. Bookcases, not so sure about. They really need an ATM machine and a manhole cover 3D token.
I like the map sets personally. The Marvel over the DC. The addition of bystander tokens apparently has made a major impact, not that I have seen but judging from the number of posts I have seen on the subject I would say that is the case. Plus I think that the maps were a HUGE step up from previous maps. And the scenarios were much better than the ones in the adventure kits. Those ones just kind of blew.

I don't know, the scenarios from both stunk in my opinion. The adventure pack ones were poorly worded, while the map ones are so selective, you are FORCED to field a certain type of team. It's not something you can drop into a tournament.

I would disagree. I think they are full fledged figures. Add ones are soemthing that you can technically do without. You can use the starter maps instead of the expansion maps. You can use cardboard tokens instead of 3d tokens. You can build teams around the bigfigs, kind of hard to build teams around a map or a mailbox.

Very well then! I will add my vote to the outdoor adventure kit, as well.
The map is one of the better ones to play on, IMHO, and it contains the dumpster and the lampost-two of my favorite items.
Especially now, that they made it tourney legal agin-I expect to see a quick resurgence in the use of these.
A close second would be the DC Map kit. I really like the Metropolis Outdoor map. Though it could just as easily been named the Gotham Outdoor map, given all the hidden terrain.
If the scenario is dropped when everyone comes in the door and everyone is given 20 min to field the team, I think that is acceptable. I love the mastermind scenario, it really kind of forces you to think about things differently and come up with new strategies.

According to the way they are presented on the WK website, the big figs are shown in the Add Ons section, however, like I said above, they'll probably get their own poll someday.
I like the Marvel map set myself. I love the rendition of the Avengers mansion indoors (although the danger room was kind of bland). What I would like to see in the future is a map that can make more use of water terrain for those fish-footed few.

I like the Outdoor Adventure Pack. I think the map sets blow worse than the Sentinels*. The maps in the map sets are looking better but there was no proofing versus the rules on these things. The hindering terrain and blocking terrain is really badly confusing IMO.
*Just kidding Shin.:) ;) :p

You know what? More and more I'm liking the Indoor kit. The Soda Machine is great for the three additional damage is causes when used with SS.
The Computer and bookcase do not get as much play as they likely should. If you end up picking last, why not go with one of these? How many times have you rolled and missed by one? Goodbye object, now sit there and wait for the opponent to hit you.
The Desk is easily becoming my light object of choice. Thor and Steel are constantly carrying this thing around. Boosting your defensive value by two is HUGE!!!
The Indoor Kit: The thinking man's add on!!
