Tama ka Javey! Kaya nating ideduce by process of elimination kung sino si FPJ! Nung isang beses nakita ko siyang online, apat rin kaming naka online: ako, si Max, si VH, at si Bace. I would like to announce that Eastwood City Cybermall, the country's first IT mall, is opening its doors to major tournaments and competitions of Heroclix. Meaning you guys can use the common areas of the Cybermall free of charge.

Currently we are creating Eastwood City Cybermall as a hub for enthusiasts of hobby, board and mind games. As a Heroclix player myself, I requested the board to invite Heroclix gamers to Cybermall to pioneer this move.

We have logistics / supplies available for use plus currently we tied up with a PR company, which will cover the events.

Jason todd was the second robin... after he got killed at the hands of the joker... the third robin was tim drake he's the one who found out about Bruce waynes true Identity that's why he earned the robin mantle... he quit becoz his stepfather found out the truth... and lastly I think the most weakest robin is the spoiler... I haven't read about her yet... so I dunno.:)

Crisis on infinite earth is a different storyline... there is the positive matter universe and the antimatter universe... at the beginning of DC comics... all of their superheroes live in different worlds... different timelines and different dimensions... so they decided to merge it into one... this is where the story begins... OA planet of the guardians was the beginning of the crisis Kronos one Oan scientist discovered the origins of the universe... and when he did uncovered it... the universes multiplied into different dimensions and planes... kinda like the "ONE" were living in a parallel universe... that's were the anti universe was born... Oa the positive matter universe... and the planet qward the anti matter universe... on both of these planets moons two brothers were born the monitor and the anti monitor... the anti monitor quickly conquered the antimatter univers with ease... so he tried to conquer the positive matter universe... the monitor and the anti monitor fought... the balance of power was even... they both got blown in a state of hibernation.

Second part of the story in another dimension(God this is getting tiresome... another plane another uni...)... Pariah another dedicated scientist... wanted to discover the Origins of the universe... then history repeats itself... he destroys his own universe henceforth shifting the balance of power... chalk 1pt. for the antimonitor... so as the story goes anti monitor wants to destroy all of the universe... whenever he destroys a universe he gets stronger... the monitor gets weaker... kinda like a tug of war.

Interesting part of the story... Supergirl dies... stomping the anti-monitor... Barry Allen dies Destroying the antimatter cannon of the anti monitor... AHHHHHHHHHHHH Just buy the freakin paperback... it's on sale for 1200 pesos...:confused:

Yup, di puwede for the CLC. The reason for this is that the teams will be drafted and announced a day or two after the end of pre-reg. This will give players the chance to meet up and get to know their teammates, plan their strategies, and practice.

Teams will be drafted in a way similar to the NBA (and other sports organizations). Depending on the turnout, for example let's say 16 people signed up. This can give us 4 teams of 4 players each. I will assign certain people to be the "team captains" (probably the first few who registered. so sign up quick). These "captains" will be the ones to choose who to add to their teams. sound fair?

Judges, I have a suggestion (regarding team match-ups):

I'm just thinking, paano kung gawin nating kapag maglalaban na yung teams, magkakaroon ng dice roll yung team captains, then yung winner ang siyang magdedetermine kung sino ang lalaban kanino. (i.e. player A vs. B, B vs. C, depende basta mag match sa advantage ng team niya) That way, pwedeng magkaroon sa loob ng isang Team ng varied armies, (pwedeng may specific counterstrategies sa certain tactics) para may "team effort" kumbaga.

Due to circumstances, we are forced to move the tournament date to September 18, 2004.

Venue:
The Gamer's Shop, City Center Ortigas

Registration:
All players are requested to pre-register. There will be no registration on the day itself. You may pre-register as earlier as today. Deadline for registering is September 11, 2004.

We will not require players to register as teams anymore. Instead, players must register as individuals first. Teams will be drafted AFTER the deadline. This will allow a more even line-up of players per team.

Registration fee is still Php 1000.00

Format:
Format is still the same. Players will be put in teams of up to 4. Teams will face off against one another and hteir average victory points will be calculated to determine their placing.

400 pts. Constructed
Open, Restricted
No duplicates even generics

Prize:
First place team will get LE's for each member, and 1/2 case of Mutant Mayhem boosters (in November).

Second place team will get 1/4 case of Mutant Mayhem boosters.

Third and Fourth place teams will get 1/8 case of Mutant Mayhem boosters each.

Other Prizes and LE's to be given away.

Well... on the other hand, I always "tremble" when matching with anyone else. That's part of the "Maximillion tactic". ;)

Bace, I think Javey's comment on being able to influence the who-against-who has a nice twist to it. That would build more focus on team build strategies than match experience versus experience. But then again... a complete mismatch of experience and the perfect team that could exploit the other team's weaknesses will mean total annihilation for that player. It might sway too much of the victory to the team captain who would have "initiative" to choose who fights who.
