Just want to announce an upcoming event.

The 2ND PHILIPPINE ANIMATION FESTIVAL 2005 is coming up! Otherwise known as ANIMEXPLOSION 2005! :grin:

There will be an Original Character deign competition, On the spot drawing contest, Gundam model building competition (mechanics to be announced monday), free animation film showing, and famous directors from Japan will be arriving there. This will be announced also in ABS CBN, the partner media group.

what's up with bystanders? thanks to legacy, we now have a 12-point bystander with toughness, 6 range, 2 damage and the pd ta.

wierd lang that this guy, who IMHO should be more durable than cheesy paramedics and con artists, has only one click (or whatever it's called for bystanders) of life while the cheesy paramedics and con artists have three of four.

Weird bystanders pero cool din yung idea nila kasi may mga comic characters na maganda sanang i-include sa game pero din naman worth gawan ng sculpt. (REV Iris West, anyone? Well, Alfred could be an exception) They add spice to the game.

ArGH! DAmi ko anng 300 pt teams gusto ko nang maglaro ulit. Kaso thesis... O_o

Second, I'd like to take this time to announce that as of today, I am retiring from clix. As much as I've enjoyed playing clix, officiating tourneys, and meeting all you wonderful players (aaawwww...sniff...:p ), it's come time for me to let go and move on. :) Thanks all for everything.

Well, it's really sad that Bace will have to retire.

If I recall correctly, Bace is the second one I ever played clix with. First was with Dari.

Bace showed me the power of Sinestro at that time. The experience gave me the "never concede mindset".

-Booster Packs sell for 300 each. They contain 4 figures and you have a chance to get Uniques and Rare figures. I buy mine at Neutral Grounds, Glorieta 2, Ayala but I dont think it matters where you buy. Luck has a part in it.

-Below is the Philippine Trade Thread, check out the posts and give an offer... Lots of players gives huge discounts on BULK transactions.

I've bought bulks there like 3 Uniques + 37 NONs for only 1000. Way cheaper than booster packs... however, no chance to get the good pieces.

-You can also join tournaments, for around 150 you get to play and know other players and get a chance to get a Limited Edition (LE) figure when you get better. It doesn't matter if you win or lose so long as you make friends =)

Battlefield Conditions

Deep Shadows
Replace the first line of the card with: “Treat all non-blocking terrain as hindering terrain for line of fire purposes.”

Feat Cards

Damage Shield
-The retaliation damage from Damage Shield is reducible by damage reducing powers.
-Damage from Damage Shield is not an attack, and therefore will not trigger the effects of attacks such as the Mystics team ability or the Super Senses power.
-The prerequisite ability must be showing on the dial at the time of the attack in order to use Damage Shield.

In Contact With Oracle
-If Oracle is removed from the battlefield and placed on the In Contact With Oracle feat card her team ability cannot be copied by figures with wildcard team abilities.

Crime Syndicate Team Ability
-The CSA team ability grants its team members the Probability Control power, which can be countered.
-A figure that has already been given an action token in a turn may be given a second action token that same turn from the CSA team ability.

2. what is jet lug rule?
3. cud i perplex someones damege upto 3?
4. if im a square away from a barrier and grounded can someone on an elevated terrain shoot me?
5. if my figs has a no pushing and i gave him two tokens then someone incapacitates me, do i have to click for damage?
6. can you use BCF together with Flurry?
7. When i use force blast do i have to roll a die/dice?
8. how many times can i use probability?

yes. example (A and B are characters. X is a barrier):

Jet Lag refers to the no-action-after-taxi rule. Simply means that you cannot give a character an action after you have taxied him using a flying character. No attacks, moves or the like. Free actions are still permitted.

yes. as long as you are still within the rule of 3. Meaning you cannot modify a characters combat value more than +/- 3

You're adjacent to the barrier? No they can't

in the first place, you can't give a character more than one action per turn (barring free actions).

pushing refers to when you give a character an action for two consecutive turns.

you also cannot give a character more than 2 tokens. so they cannot target you with incapacitate if you already have 2 tokens


6. can you use BCF together with Flurry?

yes


7. When i use force blast do i have to roll a die/dice?

no


8. how many times can i use probability?

once during your turn and only to affect your dice rolls, and once when it is not your turn and only to affect the dice roll of the player whose turn it is.

When we sculpted the Batman figure for DC HeroClix Legacy, we were so excited by the dynamic pose and the sweeping cape that we made him too big to fit in the plastic capsule that surrounds each HeroClix figure in a booster. Our only option was to split this figure into two pieces, to be assembled by players after purchase.

Fortunately, our sculptors did a great job of making him easy to put together while still preserving his dashing good looks. To put Batman together:

1) Insert the peg at the base of his head-and-cape assembly into the slot on top of his shoulders.
2) Insert the peg on his respirator mouthpiece into the slot on his chest.

Now he's ready to rumble on the battlefield!

May kwento ako sa inyo... Sumali ako sa isang pre-release tornament for Legacy dito sa San Diego, CA. Sa mga nakakakilala sa akin, alam niyong collector lang ako at hindi ako naglalaro, pero sino ba namang tatanggi sa Purple Unique, di ba? So sali ako and punung puno yung gaming stor. Mga 32 pairs siguro in all. So ayun, 3 sealed booster and 300 point teams. Team ko was Red Robin U, Superboy E, Ravager E, and Hyena R. Plus Trick Shot and Jeremiah Arkham pog. First round, patay ako. Expected. Judge pa kalaban ko, tsk tsk tsk. pero at least natuto ako at tinuruan niya ako ng konti. Next match, 10 year old kupal na whiteboy. Yabang. Dinadaya pa ako. Buti na lang tinulungan ako ng katabi ko at sinabing dinadaya ako. Pero at least natalo ko siya through points!!! Tapos last match eh kaisa-isang babaeng naglalaro (at blonde at sexy pa! Out of place na out of place.) Chambalero ako at natalo ko siya!!! 2 out of 3 for a guy who NEVER played before!!! Problema kasi nila eh laging si Superboy agad inuupakan nila. Ang nag-save sa akin eh si Ravager E. Hindi siya matama-tamaan ng kalaban ko for 2 straight turns dahil sa Super Senses (by Major Force, Star Girl, and Red Robin U ng kalaban ko) at lakas tsamba ng blades/claws/fangs niya (pinatay niya si Major Force at Kid Flash V). Asteeg si Ravager!!! Tapos si Hyena, astig din. Dahil siguro hindi kilalang character eh di pinansin ng mga kilala ko, pero after the activation click eh Charge, Blades/Claws/Fangs, at toughness!!! Astig!!!

Okay, tama na. Na-excite lang ako dahil inuulit ko, NEVER ako naglaro before. Sayang kasi maski okay naman si Red Robin at Capt. Nathaniel Adams SR na nakuha ko, mas gusto ko sanang si Ares nakuha ko. Tsk tsk tsk. Yung katabi ko eh Ares at Steel giant fig nakuha out of 3 boosters (lakas ng loob niya at yun lang ang kaisa isang fig na linaban niya sa tournament (Ares)... 275 pts eh. Pero nanalo siya!!!) Bad trip, kung nakarating lang ako 1 or two mins before, ako sana nakakuha ng boosters niya kasi ako yung nasa likod niya sa linya.
