Guys kumusta na? Congrats sa mga winners ha. Hopefully makakalaro na ako. Actually pupunta ako sa 40 to 100 point value figs tourney. Napgod lang ksi ako. Okey ha, may Basketball pa kayo. Hindi nga lang ako makakapunta, malayo kasi eh. At saka takot ako mag-basketball, napakaphysical ko mag-laro eh :nervous: . Anyway, para medyo dumami yun tina-type ko dito, pa-trade naman ng mga DC at Indy retired figs like flash, hell boy, Siamese, and arwen. alam niyo naman yun figs ko diba? Thanks.

clarification of the ICONS ruling:
Icons Rule Book, page 15
"Wild cards retain the team ability they last used until they use another team ability."
In this case, even if the "lending" fig is KO'ed.

I made a tentative reservation at Dumlao Gym for January 7, 10am to 12nn. court fee is 700 per hour. we can play in the morning then jump straight to clix in the afternoon. hehe.

i just bought a brick of armor wars, and guess what!!! no unique!!! not even one!!!
that's 12 booster packs (the most that i've bought so far of any set) and no unique!!!
easier to collect my butt!!!
sorry to hear that, I guess it's not your lucky day. I already bought 4 boosters and luckily i got 2 uniques (Shathra and Iron Man). :classic: And also there is no duplicate figures :)

And actually, kung lagi ka naman sa tourneys, you wouldn't mind not buying boosters. Got most of my Icons and Mutant Mayhem figs (some of them uniques pa) from booster drafts. Eventually makukuha mo yung gusto mong figs.
(Jhun, you reading this? Wag mo nang ubusin yung AW para di ka na magreklamo kung puro AW yung iddraft natin sa mga susunod na tourneys.. hehe)

well it's true what jvx said, players here are not just competitive but very friendly. pati judges friendly they'll even give you LE figs just for playing in a tourney for the 1st time *winks at ecchs ;) * hehe

I guess mas madaling mkakuha ngayon ng unique compared sa veteran. veteran ngayon ang hard to find. Sa 4 boosters that I bought, isang veteran lang ang nakuha ko (Marrina V). Ad also sa 4 boosters, wala pa akong duplicates. :)

Howdy folks, I'm a clixer outta the Southern U.S.-of A randomly postin through all these clans, trying to find a host for my Doombot eggs. Unfortunately, I wish that my robotic offspring will become immortal; such a feat is impossible on lowly midgard, unfortunately...

First time trading and my first time joining tourneys after 3 years of just collecting, buying packs, and collecting. Happy New Year, and may we get the best of graces (again) this coming 2006. We did a sealed tourney once. We'll do a real marquee pag nakaipon na mga tao. I don't think willing pang mag-marquee yang mga yan from back-to-back sealed tournaments.
Oh tentatively next week is the ICONS marquee. Meaning there's Speed Saunders for each participant, and Princess Koriand'r and Tim Drake as prizes. Let's wait for Judge Ecchs' announcement regarding this.

ARTHUR: A Marquee is a sealed tournament done whenever a new set is released. Usually 3 boosters to tapos ang prizes ay special LEs (The Demon's Head and Bruce Wayne, for example)
As for LEs, there was a time when you can get "Super Rare" figs from booster packs. This started with the Mutant Mayhem set. Basically all the LEs from an expansion can be pulled from packs. The difference is, bronze din yung text sa clix (unlike an LE which has white text written on it) The last expansion set to have SRs is Fantastic Forces, whose SRs were made like LEs too. (meaning the texts were also in white)
AKAIK Mutant Mayhem, Legacy and FF lang yung mga sets na may SRs. Kaya naglipana ang Sue Storm waay before FF LEs were released.

Heroclix's Player of the Month officially starts this year. That means we will be reviving the P.O.M. tradition of old wherein we will compile rankings from every venue every month and come up with, well, the Heroclix Player of the Month. *ngiti* We'll also have our Player of the Year at the end of this year. Sana magtuloy-tuloy na ito.
As for the P.O.M./P.O.Y.'s rewards, I know that nagbigay na nang pledge si Sir Freddie last Gamefest sa Glorietta to provide the LE prizes, so pasuyo na lang sa mga judges sa Madison/Ghills/Galleria (Gat-X and Conrad) to follow it up.
Paalala lang sa mga judges that for the rankings to be official, paki-post lang po dito sa realms, para din madaling mai-compile. I will volunteer na to compile the rankings from January to March this year so paki-ayos lang po ang mga battle reports, hokey? *ngiti*
BTW, only pure players are entitled sa P.O.M./P.O.Y.s rewards. Pwedeng kasama sa ranking ang mga judges for each venue, pero pagdating sa compilation, hindi na po kami kasama. Oks po ba mga fellow judges? Para sa mga players naman talaga ito. *ngiti*
